  3. Looks fun.

I'm still waiting for an episode called Paranormal Activity :P

  4. Already?  Uh, it's been one scene.  They've been at odds for one scene, not counting tomorrow's episode.

  5. "Complicated"  That's an understatement.  Nothing is ever easy with the Winchesters.  I've been watching these clips but still don't understand if they both just ended up in the same town because they were tracking the same clues or if one brother called another.  If someone called, that's a good sign.  I have to say that I am not looking forward to this episode unlike everyone else.  I always dislike when the brothers are fighting and there is potential for some massive melodrama here.  It has to be written just right.  Already the fandom is up in arms, divided, about this episode and it hasn't even aired yet.  Here's hoping the episode delivers in a way that clears the air and allows the brothers to advance even if it doesn't settle everything.  Otherwise it's going to be a great week to take a vacation from this fandom.

  6. ^^; Looking at Sam's reaction I'm thinking they just stumble on the same case randomly

  7. LOL, I don't want them broken up for too long. And it looks like they'll be for awhile tomorrow.

  8. More info on this town, if anyone's interested - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lily_Dale,_New_York

And how haven't they been there yet?! A city full of psychics! Though I guess that if that's the case, it might not be so weird that people are dying there. It's like saying someone got a pie thrown at his face in a city full of clowns...

  9. Hmm, looks good. I hope it's awesome! (Is it just me or are they getting a LOT of use out of those suits this season so far?)

Boys...fighting. I hope they make up eventually. I don't like it when they fight. I'm wondering though... Do they just end up working the same case by luck, or did one of them call the other? (If it was the latter, I think it would be Dean calling Sam, because based on what I've seen Sam doesn't look happy to be around Dean.)

  10. That would be amusing...that was a terrible movie.

  11. I'm hoping this episode turns out good, but I don't like it when the boys fight either. Can't stand it. I hope they make up by the end of the episode and we don't have to wait longer than that.

  12. I hear you. Everyone was telling me like "you gotta see it, it's scary as hell..". I didn't even flinch once. Just some boring documentary movie.

  13. That's what it felt like to me but I wasn't sure.  That doesn't bode well for this episode.

  14. I actually think it is by chance. Psychic remote city, mysterious deaths (Going on a limb here that they're mysterious). It's not that weird that they both checked it out.

And they didn't really use the suits that much this season. Sam wore on one scene in episode 3. They did have plenty of suit time in episode 5, but that's about it. I was hoping Sam would have a suit when he was being Dean's lawyer, but he went casual...

  15. I will shocked beyond all belief if the Amy situation is resolved in this episode.  I'm expecting fallout up to the midseason break and that makes me unhappy.  The clips shown seem to highlight the conflict between the brothers and it feels like the case is going to take a backseat to the emoangst.  I'm okay with a little bit of this as long as the brothers make progress towards their relationship.  If not, it's going to be one depressing episode.

  16. Ha!  I think he'd be more suitably attired but Osiris didn't give him a chance to go back to the hotel and change.  :-)

  17. Yup...Egyptian gods are douchebags.

  18. I had enough of the boys fighting in S4 and S5... can we just end this crap already, Sera? Please? Where are those promises you made us all at the beginning of the season that "the brothers are stronger than ever" and all that crap? This sure as hell doesn't look "stronger than ever" to me... *sighs* Though judging by this clip, it would seem that they just run into each other in Lilydale, because Sam's expression was a surprised one, so... maybe? Or maybe Dean knew his brother was there? Idk... :( Please just give me my brothers back, Sera. Please. ;_;

  19. I must admit, this made me chuckle a bit. xD

  20. Now that's the Sam I know all grumpy.lol
Seriously I hate when they fight but thats what siblings do. In me having a younger sis we always going at it but at the end of the day we know who to turn too.
Nothing never come easy for the boys in this is a prime example so just let it play out.

  21. Yes, finally... ThAnk You!!!

  22. Totally agree SWG. Soooo sick of it. Why are they still going there? Does anyone actually want to watch this?

  23. I'm so excited for tomorrow. I hope they makeup by the end. They only have each other, they need to get past this latest 'thing'! I don't blame Sam for being mad, like I don't blame Dean for killing Amy (secret keeping is always unwise though, even if he had his reasons), they are complicated boys our boys!! But damn, I hope they talk instead of pout or punch! Damn I love this show!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I've said it before - these two remind me of my own sons. (Not the killing stuff obviously) They are two very different people who see things very differently. Their ability to fight with each other is just part of the relationship and is legendary in our family. We grit our collective teeth and bear with it until it gets resolved - and it always does (until the next time :P) It's part of who they are, and we are used to periodic conflict. I think it's the same for Sam and Dean. Not that I particularly like it, it just is.

  25. I hate not only the brotherly angst, but also what this kind of thing does to the fandom. I'm with you Dahne. I might be ducking out of fandom for a while if this isn't sorted soon. If I see one more argument about whether dean should have killed Amy I think I'll scream.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I was thinking the same - Gamble said at the start that they're estranged at the BEGINNING of the episode.. there's no way it can be resolved that quickly.. they've been fighting for like.. 2 seconds.

    ReplyDelete
  27. My guess is that a lot of the Amy stuff will come up a lot this episode, but they'll still be angry with each other at the end.  A threat by the Leviathans will remind them that splitting up isn't an option right now, so they'll be forced to work together.  The Amy conflict is one thing, but there's a bigger explosion/meltdown due from Dean from all of the crap he's been bottling up for years.  Sam's angry enough now to stop letting Dean get away with sidestepping his issues with jokes and "no chick flick" comments.  So I think they'll make progress in dealing with the Amy fighting this episode but there's lots more emo and angst to come.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ugh... they can spare me the Dean emo/angst. We've been dealing with it since Season 4... I'm honestly tired of it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. My sister told me the same thing, how freaky it was... And for like the whole movie all that happened was a door moving. Whoo.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Just thinking about it...ugh. I think we've already had enough fights between the brothers, enough tension between them the last three seasons. Give it a rest already! Let them get along again, dang it!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't know why, it just feels like they've been wearing suits a lot... I guess it is just me. (Not that I'm complaining, anyway, they look good in suits.)

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm glad the Amy thing hasn't been immediately dropped but hope it's resolved soon.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think it would do the conflict a great disservice to wrap it up in a bow so soon.  There are serious issues here that need some serious attention on the part of the writers.

  34. The weirdest thing about this video is that the advertisement preceding it was in Spanish -- for a movie that was speaking English. I'm so confused....

    ReplyDelete
  35. when's the last time you saw brothers/sisters not fighting for years?^^; Now try brothers who are living together and are stuck together 24/7...it's pretty much impossible to not fight or not argue

    ReplyDelete
  36. Agreed. I don't like them fighting either but if done right it can allow some mayor character development on their part. Winchester only learn through extreme measures.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fighting and arguing in a typical brotherly fashion is normal, sure. But fighting like this where Sam takes off and he's gone for a week and a half? I don't like it...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yeah. The fighting in the first Trickster ep was funny, and I wish we'd see more like that. When the word "betrayal" comes to mind, that's something different.

  39. I am hoping that my boys work it out and I even think Dean was right in killing Amy but I gotta say I am with Sammy on this one all the way he has every right to be feeling the way he does . Dean was a complete ass for not being straight with Sam even if he felt Sam was all wooggily brained .He is always saying we have to be straight with each other and no secrets but then he is like do what I say not what I do because he turns around is all liar liar pants on fire. I love Dean but some times he needs a boot to the left temple  to knock his mind right. As always looking forward to tomorrow night Supernatural episode

  40. Looks great. I just hope that by the end of this episode or the beginning of next they hash out their differences. I wouldn't like it if this continues more then 2 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sam looks like he's going to punch that guy...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Looks good as do all the episodes of Supernatural, at least to me.
While there are obviously good, better and best episodes, I love them all.

I wonder if  here the boys will have their fortunes told,  perhaps unwillingly, by one of these psychics and that exposition will help bring all their tensions to the fore, where they might be able to  deal with them and find at the least, a working truce and at best, a new beginning, emotion-wise.

Sam already seems to have been caught out in the above preview and I'm sure Dean will be told some home truths too!
    All will be revealed tonight!

  43. From Sam's face and Dean's attitude I'd say that Sam got a little sloppy and Dean was able tracked him down and worked out he was on a case and thought the best way to approach his brother was to offer help instead of just getting in Sam's face to force him to deal with his issues.

It would be nice for once if they got the boys to deal with their issues (and I'm talking about the way they do it on a whole) without one of them resorting to being a child.  On one side you have Sam going in a huff after essentially promising he wouldn't and just leaving after stating in previous seasons that he knew that that never solved anything and actually hinders the situation while knocking Dean's self esteem disastrously.  On the other Dean, who when stressed goes to default mode of a suffocating controlling big brother who runs after Sam whether Sam wants/needs it or not and Dean does this even though he knows all that does is undermines Sam's confidence, gets his brother's back up and never helps in the long run.

It is actually scary that sometimes when it gets to the point when can't express himself in any other way except to hit his brother when he is mega pissed (and granted that seems to be after he discovers that Sam has done something monumentally out there) it actually results in the boys clearing the air quicker than when they go down this route.

  44. I can hardly wait.  6 hrs. and 45 minutes to go.

  45. You know what would be awesome?  If an episode about psychics happened to remind the boys that Missouri is alive.  I miss her and would love to see her interacting with the Winchesters again.  It irks me that her character just sort of... disappeared.  I know she wasn't a regular character or anything, but you'd think they would have consulted her about Sam's wall (either while it was cracking, or after it had fallen).  It sort of seems like Castiel took over as their super-powered friend and Missouri just faded away.  But that lady has sass, and I miss her threatening Dean with a wooden spoon!

It would also be cool if the subject of SAM'S powers came up again. Another great plot line totally abandoned without explanation.  I'd love to see some of his powers come back at some point.

I want the boys back together again quickly, and back to being supportive and bantering with each other, but I'm also glad that Sam is standing up to Dean about Amy and pushing back some.  Too often I feel like Dean's anger gets top billing and Sam just sort of takes it (letting Dean punch him, etc).  So as much as I hate the conflict, I'm glad Sam isn't backing down about how angry he is.
