  1. I'm going to say it again: Poor Alan.

And LOL, they so want us to ship Alan/Walden.

  2. CBS go ahead and pull the plug.....................you killed the recipe by removing a vital ingredient (Sheen) now it is time for you to retire the series to rerun heaven where thankfully we the viewers can once again taste a truly excellent recipe intact. What a pity...............someday you people in conference rooms that make all the decisions should really think about us the viewer ..................after all if is was not for us the loyal cable / satellite paying consumer you would not have a conference room to chat in.

  3. It's hard to argue the 13+million viewers that watch it still. Look, I know people are saying the viewers have dropped 50% since the first episode, but if you'll notice they have stabilized at 13 million which still a huge amount. So obviously not everyone agrees with you. I don't love it either, but we both have to admit its doing pretty well. I could be wrong thought and it could collapse and be cancelled soon!

  4. I know I'm alone here, but I'm liking this new incarnation of "Two and a Half Men" MORE as the season goes on. It's growing into itself and getting smoother. It's become trendy to make snarky remarks about it--especially about Cryer--but he's on track and doing better every episode. Give the show another serious watching, people!

  5. Ignoring the bloated premier numbers and the subsequent drop since then.... It's hard to argue with 13 million or more a week even if that is down from last season's averages.

More interesting to me is that Two an a Half Men has been the #1 or #2 rated show for the night each of the last 2 or 3 years (no lower than third for 5 years or so), but for the last 2 episodes it's been the #5 show for the night. You have to go back more than 6 years to find it that low ranked for the night and never 2 week's in a row.

I don't buy that it's the competition on Monday night have improved... 2.5 Men has gone down.

By season's end I bet it's down another 2 million a night or more. Then CBS will take a serious look at it. IF the numbers stay at 13 million it should be ok.

  6. Most of the ratings are most likely pure curiosity. I work in an office and it is a habit for people to turn on the show since many of them have been doing it for so long..............it is habitual and I can tell you one thing they DO NOT LIKE IT.........they leave it on for noise while they do other things in the house.....they wait for 9:30 for Mike and Mollie. I do not believe the ratings really give an accurate accounting of people liking or disliking this show. Eventually people will learn to use their remotes and change the channel. I do respect that some people may really like the show.................but I cannot see it lasting....time will tell. I will say it again and I will say it loudly.....................I REALLY MISS SHEEN!! His timing was impeccable....the show was for adults NOT tweens waiting to see Ashton Kutcher in his towel. I sorely miss the couch talk between brothers and Sheen and Jake..................ahhhh thank goodness for reruns!

  7. Oh BTW I do not make snarky remarks because it is trendy or vote awful to jump on the bandwagon...........I have an opinion and I like to express it. I am a TV viewer for many many years....I am known by my office as a walking TV guide.LOL My tastes for shows are varied...I gave Ashton a shot cuz I liked him as Michael Kelso......but alas.......he does not translate well from boy to MAN!
I think they needed and older wiser MAN to replace Sheen.............not someone younger than Cryer.
It sickens me to see Berta act the way she does around Kutcher....... they have dummed down all the characters to make Ashton fit better.........PULL THE PLUG CBS! I am sure there are plenty of New pilot scripts waiting for some action on those big conference desks. Save us viewers from this comedy gone tragic.

  8. big big respect on your opinion

but if you dont like what they doing why watch it still then :) why not tune into something else in fairness they know deep down that the new changes wouldnt fit well with other people i admit i was one of the people that said aah its gonna be shit without charlie sheen in but to be honest i like it abit *cant say i fully like it because theres things even i dislike* but its not too bad so far its pretty average but i gotta say i dont think it will see another season

  9. John I like you don't think it will survive a second season too. How it is making it this far has a lot to do with egos.............and the PTB don't want to admit they fumbled the ball when firing Sheen. If the show canceled right now...........Sheen would have the last laugh...........and Lorre won't let that happen. The sitcom/ comedic genius  bar was very very  high when Sheen was fired and Ashton does not have the stamina or acting balance to reach that bar. When sitcoms were dying in the throes of all the crime dramas and procedurals taking over the airwaves it was this sitcom that was soaring high.....and why because of a stellar cast and chemistry that has been tainted.Maybe Sheen will have the last laugh...I know that once he was off the show I had my last laugh too!

  10. i see your point there you have a good point about that

think its been shockingly in some cases getting good ratings i wasent a fan of how they decided to kill charlie off i thought oh god this is seriously gonna be bad and in some ways i think it has been bad mean like the laughing from the crowd seems more died down this season than usual theres only little laughs
