    This episode was a mixed bag for me (shocking I know!)....

    I liked that it advanced the backstory and myth arc of the series and add a nice misdirect element since up until now we were led to believe that Taylor and Terra Nova's group were the ones trying to exploit the past to control the future. Now, it seems Taylor is saying the Sixers and his son are the ones actually spearheading that movement.

    I liked the idea of carrier dragonflies! XD 
    Nice to see more use of the natural resources of the era. 

    The Sixer ambush really bugged me for some reason. I'm not sure why. Maybe just the way that the  armed escort was caught COMPLETELY unawares as the Sixers dropped in on vines. Not even one shot was fired. Not even one of the armed escort was actually guarding the caravan and ready to shoot? Seriously? It just sat wrong for me. 

    The more I see the youngest Shannon the more I hope winged creatures come in and take her to serve their young for brunch. Seriously. The older teens are bad enough with their teen romance stories and complete lack of common sense, but the youngest one grates on me. Why not just give her a catch phrase ala the Olsen twins on Full House and be done with it already. I'm waiting for the equivalent of "You got it dude" and the thumbs up from her. 
    Rant over. Apologies.

    Overall the episode was just "Okay" for me since the b-plot was so annoying and the lame ambush scene. If it had just been about the mole and Taylor's back story I would have rated it "Great".

    Really liked this episode and the twist that Taylor is the good one here caught me by suprise, but I like it !

    One of the better eps for me.  Liked finding out more about what's really going on.   Still had a few predictable elements, but this ep was fun enough that I didn't really care.  It's good for your Dad to be the only town cop.  Your punishment for stealing needed drugs from the hospital is being grounded.

    I agree with you.  The problem I had is that...I can't let myself believe it.  I don't know why given that this show seems to like playing within the lines. (not a bad thing if I like the characters.) It could be because I'm not used to seeing the actor, who plays Taylor, playing a character completely on the side of right or if it's that the guy playing his son...is just not good a enough actor to play his intentions without any dialog.  I couldn't tell what he was thinking in that last shot.  (which could be intentional on the part of the storytellers or not)

    About to start noting my agreement with you with regard to the ambush (I'm beginning to wonder if these kids get any training.)  and then I hat your comment about the youngest Shannon and almost spit water all over my keyboard. :-)

    I would happily trade those kids stories for getting to really know more of the characters in Terra Nova.  I think it would be a bonus to make the show just a tensy bit more ensemble.

    I said great not awesome,i hope it gets there. I like the twists and now the turn of who is doing what and why.In terms of the kids,well i guess we have to suck it up considering its a family program,but i'll tell ya i wouldn't mind if a few got picked off by some dinos.
