lol it was a fun episode. I think were seeing more of Shelly (diana's) clothes off these last few episodes since nick died lol (which im not complaining :P) anyways the little girl thing i knew it must've been faye afterall she was the one seeing her and it was at her grandpa's house... Jr bourne was good but he didn’t have much to do. Its kind’ve annoying that jake is still ignoring his job and making excuses their like halting the story. If they keep that up for a few more episodes then I might tune out because its very obvious to the fans, how many excuses can he really keep up with? Adam is suspicious I mean common! Idk I think this story is spreading too many branches sometimes. I didn’t see diana’s dad controlling grams’s memories though that was unexpected and I bet that wont last very long. Im a little tired of the on off relationship with adam and Diana just let it end or bring them together!? And was that their first time last night doing it because usually teens’ make that a big thing.. Idk I give that a great. Im about 60% still interested in the show. If it gets down past 40 then im making POI my 8pm show and watching SC later.

  2. It was just an ok ep for me as my main issue was that the acting (mostly from Faye and Jake) felt over the top psycho jealous for Faye and too sleazy creepy mumbly talking for Jake. It also seems odd that no one besides Adam is suspiscious of Jake, especially Cassie since he's always asking questions about her, and it doesn't come across as he's interested... Also I'm not sold on the Jake idea of revenge to kill all witches because he lost his parents... that would've meant that he would've been looking to kill Nick before he died via Charles.... I wasnt to like this show more (prob because of the affiliation to TVD) the show is ok, and I know I shouldn't compare it to TVD, but I'm hoping that having the same creator would give it more of a flair and  at least the same feel of plot movement as I feel that the storylines for TSC are dragging quite a bit. But I'll keep watching for now because I think there's promise here.

  3. I thought this was a awesome episode on some levels and okay on others...

I found it very entertaining and one of the best episode stories of the season. I could actually handle the overdone teen angst as part of a truth or dare game.  It's not the first time that game has been an outlet for the participants more base thoughts - revenge or sexual I guess.

The further acknowledgement of Cassie's powers was awesome too. Nice to see more of a scope and range, being able to just think of things and 'whoosh'... it happens. An Innate abilty like that seems very rare in this mythos and I like the concept of an untapped powerful witch that simply does not know how powerful she is or can be.

I also like the fact that Charles Meade is establishing himself as something more than just Dawn's tool. He may still be a tool but at least he is more interesting! XD As a bonus them having a crystal again gives them power and makes their threat or chaos factor far more powerful.

I really did not like the acting again though.  The actor that plays Jake just has no subtlety whatsoever. Thomas Dekker may be the most cardboard actor of the bunch. Just bad! That sex scene with him and Diana was the most awkward I have seen in a long while. Cassie continues to be solid if not darn good and Diana is growing on me a bit, but still 'acting school 101' to me. Faye.... Ugh.

I have known drama queens that never see outside themselves quite a bit like Faye's character. I have never known one to be that way 100% of the time. I could handle her tantrums and rages and melodramatic teen uber-angst if they balanced it with a few sane scenes were she actually does not act out and accuse. She can do the mean girl melodrama just fine, but it's way past getting old and I need to see another side of her. The breaking down and crying or going catatonic in this episode was not enough for me. She needs to be more than just a caricature of a melodramatic teen girl...

Where was Melissa this episode anyway? Did I miss something when I was prepping my  dinner at the beginning?

Overall this was somewhere between "good" and "great" for me. I voted "great" this time since holding bad acting against this cast this far into the series is silly at this point. I've seen enough to know that the acting is bad, and will probably continue to be bad for however long the series lasts.

  4. I think Cassie has her doubts about Jake still. She feels drawn to him as an outsider of the circle and sexually, but I don;t think that has overpowered her suspicions completely. She just doesn;t lash out verbally like Adam does.

It is a bit odd that we only see Adam attacking him for the most part.  I can see everyone of them having doubts, but expressing it differently. The way they play it now it's really only been Cassie and Adam with ANY suspicion.

  5. I like Bourne too and wish he was the main threat to the circle and not Jake.  In one way he is, but I guess I wish he got as much face time as Jake since JR is the far superior actor!

  6. "Where was Melissa this episode anyway?"

I was wondering the same thing.  I watched the whole episode, but don't remember any mention of her.

  8. Britt has to be the most awful actress currently on CW, and that says a lot. Pairing her with new bland boy was a wrong move. Plus, how do they expect me to root for a heroine who's constantly going after people her friends (if not friends, then at least people she has to spend a lot of time with, not to mention her life may depend one day on their good will) are/were involved with. More magic drama, less whose boyfriends Cassie will steal next. We get it, she's super awesome. She should do something with those powers other than start fire and stalk other people's memories.

  9. good episode! but i completely agree with some of the comments below about the acting! i dont really have an issue with it on any of my other cw shows, but there were scenes where i thought i could have done a better job! jake was just creepy and adam  was sooo stifff! and if i dont like any of the main guys on the show then im probably not going to keep watchnig!
