    I love this show...................the characters are warm and funny. Freaking Cloris is a scream. That little baby is so adorable.She looks like Martha Plimpton. Very good show. Quite entertaining.

    I just got into this show and I am loving it so far! Shannon Woodward is an absolute delight, as is the rest of the cast. Plus Cloris is absolutely amazing!

    Shirley Jones was like a blast from the past. Didn't Lee Majors have to put on a animal costume last year for another guest appearance? What a hoot.

    Cloris Leechman is so funny. Maw Maw switches to teenage girl mode when she moves into a teenager's room.

    Cloris Leechman is awesome!  I love this show.  The heart buried under all of the insanity is what makes this show so great.  "in my day they were shaped like penises"  And when did Maw Maw become so tech savvy?

    prple you are so right................they don't have money,class,big cars,........or fancy clothes. What they do have is LOVE for one another...............great show........it is like Married With Children but with genuine love like a family..............and that sweet lil girl...............she makes the best faces and she looks so comfortable with the cast................so believable.

    I loved the episode purely because of Cloris!! she was brilliant and I love when Maw Maw has lucid moments...it is just brilliant!

    Agreed, especially when they were learning how to be poor.  I typically think the guest stars on this show are top notch.

    Raising hope is my go-to show when I need a huge belly laugh.  This episode did not disappoint.  Even though I had already seen the preview, I was gasping for breath while they were singing My Country Tis of Thee.  Greatest comedy I watch.

    Maw Maw - "In my day, they were shaped more like penises."
