  1. Great episode.  I felt bad for Sam, because he allowed himself to feel something for that woman, even though he knew that he would have to leave her and return to his family.  He knew that this would come with the job, but I don't think he expected to feel something so deeply.  However I believe he truly loves his wife and family.  I know we don't get to see them that often, which part of the reason why I love both NCIS and NCIS:LA we don't get into too many personal things about the characters.  Those things get revealed with time, but they aren't what the story is all about.  Generally the focus is the characters in the work environment and how they interact with each other.  If something personal comes around then it enhances the story, but it doesn't dominate.  LLCoolJ was great in this episode.

  2. Still processing over how I feel about Sam as a character right now. That was crazy. I'm beginning to think the only one who knows him is G but the way they ended things leaves a lot to of questions....

  3. I am unsure why people are so surprised by Sam's actions.  The man is an undercover agent who has to do those things in order to get the job done.  Yeah it isn't pretty and he isn't perfect, but in the end it doesn't change the fact that he is good at his job and has to do what he has to do in order to get the job done.  That makes him a great agent.

  4. I don't know who I feel more awful for, his wife or the woman he betrayed. Neither of them know anything at all. I get why he did it but I feel way more for his wife and Jada in this ep.

  5. I know he wishes he didn't have to do that sort of thing.  It makes his life very complicated, but as an agent this is what he has to do in order to get the information he needs to stop the bad guys from destroying the world.

  6. True, his wife is kind of dense though. She doesn't wander about her husband being on vacation all the time? I don't think she is aware of her husband's real job.

  8. We don't know what she knows, because they really haven't revealed too much of his family life.  We just know he has one.

  9. This episode was better than I thought it would be.

It's rare that a cookie cutter procedural like NCIS LA would sprinkle some actual, raw drama into the show with no happy ending and no easy answer.  It's nice to see this show is willing to do something like this.

The episode was really well done, until the end they make you think that Sam would stayed with the woman...
