I loved it! LOL at rule 69. My mind was in the gutter with that one.
And really, Diane? DID YOU REALLY JUST SAY THAT AT THE END? REALLY? Comparing your love for Gibbs to his feelings for his dead wife is wrong on so many levels.
I'd disagree with that....basically all she said was that Gibbs would always love Shannon - that she was the only woman for him (no brainer there) then she said that Gibbs was her Shannon - kind of sweet in a way....she'd always love him
I *so* loved this ep .....Gibbs & Fornell are so golden together. Loved the actress who played Diane; she was definitely a match for those 2.... & might I say that the preview for next week - which I think is Engaged part 1 - nearly took my breath away.
I took it to be the same reason that Gibbs told Stephanie 'you, me, us, not your fault' (another line I happened to love) A lot of time, when a marriage splits, there's so much hurt & anger that they don't get the closure needed....this was giving them a chance to end on a better note than what Gibbs (or either of them) originally remembered.
One of the best episodes. There was total complicity among all the cast, with numerous memorable quotes not to mention a new rule namely NÂș 69. Definitely an ep to be re-viewed time and time again
This was a really good episode. It usually is when Gibbs and Fornell headline the episode. Abby's redo was funny and so was seeing how bitter and snarky Fornell was about his ex-wife. This was my favorite Fornell episode of all time. He completely stole the show.
Loved it! But they fell to the casting rule again. (Cast a recognizable actor in a minor 1 scene part and they're always the bad guy.) I knew the bad guy the second the actor playing the bad Homeland guy appeared in a single scene and didn't take part in the case. Other than that I loved it...loved the ex-wife and her parting comment to Gibbs was great.
I loved this episode! The Gibbs/Fornell relationship is wonderfully played, and you can tell they enjoy it.There x was very funny, asking Gibbs if he had a basement down there Mr. Woodchuck, that was hilarious! thoroughly enjoyed this episode.
Gibbs and Fornell are a great together .............we need more of that. I also really don't care for the kissy Gibbs..............Abbey....then Ziva!! Don't shoot me I love this show I just like the gruffier Gibbs. I love the slap in the back of the head to Tony! Not into the mushy type of Gibbs. Stop the forehead kissing it can be hard to take especially for first time viewers (which I am not) that don't fully understand the relationships. It looks weird in the workplace. Just my opinion......BTW I do LOVE this show.Tony and Ducky are my faves!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteEh, I get what she was saying now, but still. Why would you say that?

What made it great was that I remembered that Melinda McGraw was Scully's sister. She's was superb as Diane.

ReplyDeleteI love it when Fornell is in an episode! I nearly cried.... They shot Nate!! Lol. I love Burn Notice
ReplyDeleteLoved it, loved that Diane was a perfect match for Gibbs and Fornell.
ReplyDeleteFornell: "Where's Diane?"
Tony: "She went to get something to eat."
Fornell: "Hope she kills it first." his delivery was perfect.
