    Twists are awesome. And fun. And so so great. This show is more fun and more nuts and I can't stop watching. I love the scenes between the two of them, the time-out-of-time and then smack back into the reality, and then past it into dirty, nasty agonising truth. The writers keep pushing past comfort into this zone of wow... More, please!!!

    The only reason I am watching this show is because of the actors Damien and Mandy.  I really enjoy everything these guys do.

    Holy shit, another excellent episode and I was blown away by many developments. I really liked that cat & mouse game of Brody & Carrie a lot. Never knew what which one was really thinking or planning. I always had the feeling that Brody knew more than he showed and I'm now more than ever not convinced of his innocence, it's too early in the season for that. On the other hand you saw Carrie fall a bit for Brody but she still is professional and cold-blooded enough to load the gun in the cabin.
    And as I've said a couple of times before, seeing Lewis and Danes on screen together is amazing, they have great chemistry.

    And I was absolutely surprised by the fact that she confessed everything to him and even more that he confessed everything we saw in his flash backs. Is that the whole truth about Brody's captivity? I'm not sure and I actually doubt it a lot.

    Apart from that not that much interesting happened. Saul's drive with the suspect was good, but faded into the background. Same thing happened to Dana's accident at home (Was one of her friends that Jimmy kid from The Walking Dead? And why did the glass of that door break so easily?) and to Jessica & Mike making out.

    Absolutely cannot wait till next Sunday. This is torture...

    They do great jobs on the show, but pretty much everything about this show is a reason to watch. Best new show of the season and also best show currently airing.

    I was fascinated by Saul's demeanour that whole time: was he just playing into what she needed so she could talk, or is he actually on the verge of his world falling apart: if he really does sympathise that could be a dangerous game-changer as Carries main touchstone...

    With the scenes between Carrie and Brody, they really carried not only the 'drunk' scenes (I don't think she was - remember his comments about her liking clear drinks, easily could've been switched for water) but the awkward walk and cooking scenes too - I liked that he asked: "Can we try this sober?" "Can I take you to the prom?" So many military types are portrayed as cave men, this is a well-written, complex and compelling character. The balance between them seems to be that he is many people to many people, whereas she is barely a real person.

    I cannot say enough in praise of this show, its writing and acting.

    This was a great individual episode that I have some mixed feelings about.

    The reveal that Brody isn't the terrorist (and all of the Brody / Carrie scenes leading up to it) was really fantastic but I'm worried about what that means for the rest of the series.

    Almost all of the drama that propels this series forward was dependent on questioning the loyalties and motives of Sgt. Brody.  With that out of the way, it may also remove much of the dramatic tension and mystery.  Now, the the clock is ticking and they're chasing down a terrorist assassin bent on taking out the president.  I'm worried this show may start looking more like 24 than the program that Homeland started out as.

    I guess for me it was a bit different since I never even considered Brody as the double agent. I guess there was a very short doubt in the pilot, but all doubts passed when we were introduced to the blonde soldier and her Arab husband.

    I do wonder how the reveal will affect to series direction, but I have enjoyed the performances so much that I don't think whatever direction it takes will change my opinion of the series.

    I did enjoy 24, but I liked the earlier mystery more than just a typical chase the terrorist plot.... I trust the series implicitly though after such a brilliant first half of the season!

    I may have jumped the gun anyway, Darq.  Since I posted, I've already read somewhere that something next week calls into question Brody's loyalties yet again, so it's entirely possible that I spoke too soon.

    Huh, interesting. Maybe it's the two of them in the end. I always thought the dreams Brody had were reality and PTSD and not brainwashing techniques used to turn him, 

    I'm so accustomed to shows never killing off (or arresting etc) their lead actors, and with the way Mandy Patinkin leaves series more reliably on schedule than the cable repairmen show up for appointments.... I cannot see them wanting to lose Lewis for Season Two.

    It would be cool if the entire season now they make Brody look "innocent" and then pull a last episode, last second twist where the FBI and CIA have Walker(?) in custody and a sniper still takes out Marine 1 right in front of them. The camera pans and it's Brody. Now that would set up a very interesting Season Two. XD

    Good point about Patinkin.  I wouldn't be surprised if this show had some sort of exit strategy planned in advance for his character if he decided to drop the show like he did on Criminal Minds.
