Great episode, intense, but a little disappointed by Jena's death and Wo Fat running away once again. The only fact that surprised me was the Chin and Malia storyline.
I half expected Wo Fat to be running through the jungle and come across Hurley eating Dharma peanut butter straight from the can saying something like "Whoa, dude! What's the hurry?"
Then I recalled they "left" the island and were in in North Korea... XD
LOL I love your Lost version of this show! Well Jenna death was predictable, as 90 per cent of this season events were... I would like to be surprised by the story for once and not only keep watching for these sympathetic fun characters. I guess I'm weak and this show is my dark side! :-)
I knew some bits that were coming. Jenna was going to be killed off, Jenna wasn't evil after all and that Wo Fat wanted to trade in Steve so that Jenna can get her fiance back.
I loved the dark element to the storyline it reminded me of watching those war movies.
Once again Mr. Lenkov you have done me proud.
I loved that scene at the airport of Joe's speech OMG I was cheering all the way and putting my hand up and saying Here here! when he said if we don't get Steve we are not coming back.
And Steve & Lori well I thought it wasn't going to happen because with Max last week it looks like it's happening. But the question is how did it happen because it looks like they were in love before the rescue
Also I have a feeling 'Shelbourne' may have something to do with the Yakuza. Because you remember John & the Gov were at a meeting when John said Shelbourne in the video that Kensi watched. And because Wo Fat doesn't know what Shelbourne is it got me thinking it has something to do with the Yakuza for sure.
I love the show, but it really is predictable like you said. I guess in a way that's part of its charm. It is a straight forward action cop show. Formulaic as possible, but still manages to be so much fun!
What are you talking about? Steve & Lori? There is no Steve & Lori! In love? That had me in stitches. LOL
Lori was just hugging a team-mate who came back from the dead. For crying out loud every female, yes including Kono would have reacted that way. They are not like their men-team-members who are happy with a high-five and a hand on the shoulder.
There is nothing that would indicate anything between those two is going on.
I had some down time so i was finally able to watch this episode. It was good,we already knew Steve was going to get rescued,Jenna would get killed,it was all pretty scripted. If they had made this into 2 parts, showing one before the x-mas break, then the second upon its return. They could have made it a little more interesting, more intriguing since they wouldn't have been as restricted in time as they are in a regular 43:00 minute episode.Thats my 2 cents worth.
I know I'm super late but just watched this episode. So intense and totally 5-0! Glad Jenna is gone, no one messes with McGarrett and lives! Especially not someone who sends him to North Korea to be tortured of all places! Those scenes were hard to watch. Was Kono even in the helicopter when they were leaving lol?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Great episode. Intense, but it would have been better if they had made it a two parter.
ReplyDeletestupid castle ppl tryin to vote awful :(

Ha! Now that would have been something! Would of been a great way to pay homage to a great show. :)
ReplyDeleteJust got around to watching ... Loved Jimmy Buffett with the 8-track in the helio :)
