  1. I loved it! (Flipped back and forth between this and NCIS.)

  2. I love it. The scene between Kurt and Dave stole the show, though. Brilliant. So sweet and earnest and full of understanding.

  5. It was awesome and very sweet, but very tame. It was funny, because my news station kept talking about how this episode's sex scenes were upsetting people, before the episode had even finished airing.

  6. I don't see why people are so surprised it wasn't more fleshed out. There's been like a dozen spoilers and a couple articles saying it would be very tame.

  7. I think it was a very sweet episode!!! Loved Tina talking about her first time with Mike and loved all Coach Beist! And it's really nice to see Rachel being a suportive girlfriend!!! Klaine was adorable too, but I still don't like Sebastian, i mean, he's hot and wtv, but the dude it's getting on my nerves! PLEASE RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S RELATIONSHIPS! THANK YOU!

I think the writers managed to develop some characters storylines without being all over the place, but i don't get the whole Warblers Uptown Girl musical number. There's no need for more Warblers. Just go away Warblers.

Oh and I wish they would do something about Lea's bangs! It looks terrible. Can't stand Blaine's annoyingly short pants either! And paired with a bow tie? Are you kidding me?

  8. Loved it!! I am a big West Side Story fan so that sold me alone!

  9. The sex scenes weren't tame, they were non existant. But it worked, I really liked how it was handled, how the episode progressed, a more audacious take would have been gratuitious, because the point wasn't the First Time itself, but how they got there, and that's something you don't see a lot, normaly is just "SEX HAPPENS!" this was well thought and plotted and I enjoyed it.

All around, favorite episode of the season, great use of most cast members, Tina did something! Artie's story was sweet, loved Beistie and yay Mike, all around a great episode, with a minimalistic touch instead of the overused theatrics.

I really liked the Karofsky scene (I love Karofsky above all) could the ep have gone without the scene? absolutely, it wasn't a game changer. It makes me think two things: That they just say "gay bar, lets add Karofsky in there! sure, why not! his fans will love it!" Which is kind of gratuitious in other ways, or, that little insight into Karofsky's new life is indeed a little seed of what we will see of him later (I sure hope so, my fanboy heart aches for it).

And Sebastian: I hate him from every angle I see him. At least Blaine makes me go "Okay, I'd tap that" but this new warbler just makes me want to hit him in the face with a freaking shovel going all "Suck that, bitch!" as I do my best Max from 2 broke Girls impersonation.

  10. You knew Finchel would eventually get it done, and Kurt/Blaine was pretty much a gimme too. Nicely handled, both situations. There were three things about last night's episode that really made me happy, though: Coach Biest -- who would ever have thought she was a virgin?! -- finding somebody nice, Mike telling off his father, and Tina telling Rachel how nice it was the first time. Really pretty little windows into three under-used characters.

  11. I thought this episode was really well done.  The editing was particularly noteworthy, as I loved how they used two appropriate (to the plot) songs from West Side Story and cut them in and out of the footage - very creative.  It was also really tasteful, so I don't think there will be many angry fan letters.  Overall, I enjoyed it!

  12. that was hands-down my favorite part of the episode.. it was full of growth and understanding, and really put a smile on my face.

  13. Just an OK episdoe for me.. I did like the Westside Story performances and the closure(?) for the Karofsky character. Even though it hasn't been addressed since S1, I guess Finn has conquered his problem of "arriving early before class starts"... lol

  14. Exactly. I don't understand why people are so upset and disappointed now. On the contrary, when I read these articles, I though I just would be disappointed or bored by this episode. But I really liked it, so sweet and tender I think. Artie, Coach Biest, Tina, Mike, Finchel, Klaine, karofsky... I loved all these storylines and scenes here. Just the way I loved the season one.

  17. This episode was alright but I guess I wasn't very interested.  I think if it wasn't for Brittany's presence and the interesting Mike Chang storyline, I might just drop this show altogether.

  18. I know I'm late here, but I really don't agree with the majority here; the episode was really split down the middle for me; I really liked Artie's and Mike's storyline, but to be honest I found the Rachel/Finn/Kurt/Blaine storyline quite offensive to be honest.
The whole musical storyline has actually been a highlight for me this storyline, I think this is what Glee should be about, a musical group putting together a musical performance for a competition or whatever reason, I really think that's lost on Glee at the moment, I think the show needs to go back to Season One when the show's main aspect was the choir-room where they were building up to sectionals.
The other side of the musical storyline was stupid to say the least. Sweeney Todd is an example why, as is the Phantom of the Opera, when they were saying 'you can't act like you've had sex if you've hadn't', well that's worrying then as the cast of Sweeny Todd must be living out murders in a pie shop then? It was ridiculous to be frank.

That being said, I honestly believe 'America' is the best song the show's done to date.
