  1. Favorite TV Crime Drama is just mean. I stared for like ten minutes before I picked.

  2. I love a lot of the contestants, it's too hard to pick! Hope one of these will win stuff - Supernatural \ Dexter \ True Blood \ Walking Dead

And how in the hell is Bridesmaids in favorite movie? I'm a cinema-freak, a really frequent movie-goer, and that movie was one of the worst pieces of crap ever made. It was the exact opposite of a comedy. I was more amused by Johnny English 2...

    ReplyDelete
  3. and how are Supernatural and Vampire Diaries nominated for favorite drama? :P

    ReplyDelete
  4. Castle and Nathan!!!!!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  5. Thank god Fringe has at least one nomination

    ReplyDelete
  6. You do not wanna be dissing SPN on this site, my friend. I guess you were kidding, but I'm still giving you a fair warning.

And with all my love to SPN, the best Drama IMO is Dexter. This season is freakin' awesome. Somebody give Michael C. Hall a damn Oscar already!

    ReplyDelete
  7. yea cause actors win Oscars for TV shows all the time

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh I know what you mean, I had trouble to decide between NCIS and Criminal Minds...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Pretty easy for me. I'm voting for Supernatural, Harry Potter, Conan O'Brien, Eminem, Coldplay and Ian Somerhalder. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  10. favorite movie icon.. that's going to be a tough race!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Whoa. It's when you see such a list you realize the Emmys are great after all.

Craig Ferguson doesn't even make the People's Choice Awards nominees list (the only award show he could be nominated to since he's too edgy for the legitimate award shows) ? I'm pissed (in my pants) ! And neither Jon Stewart or the great Stephen Colbert are nominated, but Leno and Letterman are ? This is a joke.

It's easy to pick the ones I want to see winning since most of the time in each category there's only one show/actor I think is great.

    - Best network TV drama : The Good Wife.
    - Best cable TV drama : Game of Thrones.
    - Best network TV comedy : Modern Family.
    - Best cable TV comedy : It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

    - Best drama actor : Hugh Laurie.

    - Best drama actress : Nina Dobrev.

    - Best comedy actor : Neil Patrick Harris.

    - Best comedy actress : Tina Fey.

    - Best sci-fi show : Fringe.
    - Best talk show host : Conan.
    - Best guest star : Michael J. Fox.
    - Best new comedy : Suburgatory.

As for the movies, I hope Bridesmaids, X-Men First Class, Steve Carell, Jennifer Lawrence, Mila Kunis, Chloe Moretz and Emma Stone will win something.

  12. I know right? Life would suck without Cable TV

    ReplyDelete
  13. God bless HBO, AMC and SHO tbh ;)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Alright SPN Fandom let's get Supernatural that Favorite Network TV Drama.

    ReplyDelete
  15. In my opinion Fringe should win it's category. I'm a fan of Supernatural and Fringe, but in my opinion Supernatural didn't do so well in 2011.
On the opposite Fringe is better than ever before. Season 3 was amazing and Season 4 is even better. :)
So it's a clear decision for me.
The other shows in the category aren't my type ^_^

  16. so excited Nina Dobrev got voted in wasn't happy that she wasn't on the original nomination page.  Love TVD would for them to win along with Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I can't believe that Stana Katic was snubbed again...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow. I'm over the moon with these nominees. The best part? "Favorite" vs. "Best"... :D I can pick without having to figure out which show is having the better season. (EX: The Good Wife is probably having a better season overall, but I love SPN so much that I can pick it instead, and still have FRINGE for best SCI FI Show. :D)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Agreed. Actual footage of SPN on a network awards ceremony? F*** YES.
Also showing my love for FRINGE for it's 1 nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah remember last year when "Lie To Me" won Favorite TV Crime Drama and still got cancelled a few months later? Not really a fan of these. Obviously don't mean much.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Can't wait to see who wins!
    GO CASTLE!!!!!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  22. Castle FTW !!

    ReplyDelete
  23. This nominee list is the exact reason why people make fun of The People's Choice Awards. How can Stana Katic, Anna Torv and John Noble not be nominated for anything but Nina Dobrev is? NOTHING against her (VPD fans please don't get angry,) but when you look at ALL of the people that could have been nominated out of all of Television, she got in? It's an awards show based on how many times you vote online for someone/something. Not exactly a great way to gauge who should get an award. (And people thing the Emmy's are rigged. LOL!)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yay, for Castle. But its a pity Stana isn't nominated. I think she deserves at least a nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well, gonna have to get the SPN fans moving on this.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Unlike Vampire Diaries, Supernatural is a drama.  It has episodes that are drama, comedy, family oriented, sci/fi, fantasy, and horror.  It's what makes the show so darned good.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I have felt that way about most of Jensen Ackles' acting also.  He's incredible and there is no notice because of the network the show is on.

    ReplyDelete
  28. They won two years ago on the People's Choice and we never even saw them.  slap in the face.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Supernatural did just fine in 2011.

    ReplyDelete
  30. ok, so, HOW ON EARTH DOES STANA NOT GET NOMINATED?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Love that Grimm made it into a category.

Also nice to see Bridesmaids nominated for favorite movie. I want to see that.

    ReplyDelete
  32. My Ian made it.  Now to vote vote vote!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. You have no idea what Supernatural is fully about if you have to ask that question.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Seriously? Glee, The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half fucking Men are nominated over genuinely brilliant comedies like Community and Paks & Rec?!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Lie to me got cancelled? Nooo

    ReplyDelete
  36. Forcing me to choose between the cast of Harry Potter is not cool!

    ReplyDelete
  37.  SPN is in it's 7th, They've been nominated numerous times, YOU GUYS DESERVE IT!!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Unlike Vampire Diaries? Have you seen enough of the show to determine that? I don't think it is any less of a Drama than Supernatural. Personally I think they both fit perfectly fine in the category.

    ReplyDelete
  39. As I've mentioned on my post, Supernatural can be equally as emotionally packed without the angel, demon and monster plot whereas Vampire Diaries cannot since its main characters are freaking vampires.  To say VD has the same amount is drama is untrue.  VD can't be anymore that what it is; SPN on the other hand, can still be a dramatic and emotionally-powered show without that paranormal feel to it.  Vampire Diaries, without its paranormal and supernatural tone and aspect, it doesn't live.

    ReplyDelete
  40. We gotta make Supernatural win in all the categories its nominated!!!!!!!! please vote!!!!!!

mmmmm.... how comes neither Jensen or Jared are nominated for best actor????, I think that they're better than some of the other nomenees. :S

    ReplyDelete
  41. I completely disagree. While I wouldn't go to say anything like TVD is one of the best "dramas" on tv, they really do have some hard-hitting dramatic moments on this show that have been more effective than even some of SPN (circa season 6)...

    Example?

Just watch "Rose" season 2's episode that had a vampire dealing with mortality, and an agonizing dementia-like disease that ruins the mind and degrades the body into an animal-like individual. The scene with Rose and Damon at the end of the episode, where the only place she's herself and is ok is in her dreams, is one of the most emotionally poignant moments in tv I've seen in a while.

A more recent example is last week's episode that brought a chunk of the story of the beginning of the vampires into light.

It had to do with the unrelenting hatred a man had for his wife's bastard son, a mother disowning her child in the most dramatic way imaginable, and then the same mother (in a misguided attempt to keep her family safe) cursing them with the inability to live life as a human, but also to be stuck in existence for eternity. She was then murdered by her son after she denied him her love, and he made it out to be the father to be the murderer. His sister had hated her father for what he did to her mother for so long, but never knew that it was her brother that actually killed their mother. She realized what actually happened, and it ruined everything she ever stood for. Meanwhile, this relayed to the main character Elena that it doesn't matter how much she loved her vampire boyfriend, her love could never save him from what has claimed him, but the love between him and his brother, the strongest kind of love, the love of family, would save him in the end.

    Now, what was your argument?

    ReplyDelete
  42. They'd need a new title though without the...supernatural stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I remember that, but I didn't know it was "Favorite Drama"... I thought it was "Fantasy Show"... Maybe I need to go check.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Remember...People's choice. That's the draw-back in these things.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Love that Supernatural is nominated for best drama and best sci fi.  I foresee lots of voting in my future.  Yeah also to White Collar, which had an amazing season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  46. While Supernatural is most definitely a drama, I've only seen one season of Vampire Diaries and I would say it qualifies too.  In fact, for me VD was too dramatic especially in its romantic entanglements.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I ultimately went with Bones, but I was so tempted to choose NCIS and Criminal Minds, too.

    ReplyDelete
  48. yea Nina was a write in, enough fans added her name to the ballot

    ReplyDelete
  49. yes, there is such a thing as too much drama. I sometimes wish the characters were 5 years older and they dropped all the love-triangle crap, and it'd be great.

Arguably, the Salvatore bros. have no excuse since they're really old already, but I meant get the characters like Elena and Jeremy out of high school lol

    ReplyDelete
  50. lol I don't think these are rigged, just more people are more vocal about certain things than others. It's ok I guess because that means we can keep John Noble and Anna Torv to ourselves and not share them with the outsiders! >:)

    ReplyDelete
  51.  ahahhaha... I though s/he didn't mean like that. Maybe s/he thought SPN was not drama series but scify series :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Is it only me who feel season 7 is much better than season 6??? at least till now

    ReplyDelete
  53. Transformers was terrible. Visually it's amazing but the script, acting, and cheesy dialogue was awfully hard to sit through.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Well not for me. Didn't like season 6 at all and season 7 is better, but not good. Well, that's just my personal opinion. :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. They can win "Favourite Network TV Drama". That'd be a nice compromiss :D
But for me personally Supernatural wouldn't beat Fringe. ;) Although I still like it

    ReplyDelete
  56. You arguments are laughable.  If you have no idea what I'm referring to then you're clearly dense.

    ReplyDelete
  57. LOL about JN and AT. I just don't think it's 'fair' when people can vote over and over and over for the same person/show. A show can have 3,000 viewers and be awesome and then another show can have 1,000 and suck but if they have people that will sit online and keep hitting the refresh button to vote for a show/person, I just don't think that's a good sample of validity.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Wonderful choices. Michael J Fox was awesome on TGW last season, and I hope he's back this season soon!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Let's get something straight "Thomas." You don't know a damn thing about me, much less whether or not I'm "dense."

Posts like yours are the bane of intelligent communication online. Obviously you're too "dense" to get the fact that I was making a harmless joke. A simple pun on taking the supernatural out of the show supernatural.

So, you go straight for the ad hominem for some strange reason and call me names? With all due respect, grow the hell up before interacting with other people online. Thank you, and have a nice day.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I actually agree with you. However, I think it's all about site hits when it comes to these things.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I could handle a "Best special effects" but that's about it.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I can't decide between NCIS and Criminal Minds either. Wouldn't care if the others won but I'll be pissed if CSI wins.....

    ReplyDelete
  63. Dahne what do you think about this situation?
