    This doesn't seem realistic to me even within the confines of Storybrooke world.  How could Gold force Cindy to give up her baby.  Even when people agree to adoption, they can still change their mind in the hospital.  Very weird.

    well he's rumple at the time so hes a little sneakier. by the looks of it yes its wierd but we dont know why really there could be good reason why or something. I bet though they will make it a good explanation.

    It is becoming increasingly apparent that Storybrooke seems to operate outside the confines normal, everyday society.  They've already mentioned that when people try to leave, bad things happen.  I'm starting to wonder if this town is ever visited or even noticed by the outside world.
