1. A Syfy original series? No. No it is not. 2. Uncut? If they're being sticklers for artistic integrity and letting the series stand on its own, maybe they shouldn't be giving the producers notes on what the can and can't show and say. 3. Regardless of points one and two, I hope the US audience supports the show.
Is this original series, not an original series,or is it a new series, but not a new series? Actually i understood what you are saying.I am assuming that since its not new ,it comes from the BBC,who did the original series?
Lost Girl is a 100% Canadian series produced for the Showcase network. The Syfy program will be the same program they air in Canada but Syfy is airing season one while Showcase in Canada is into season two already.
See what happens when one assumes, and here i am thinking, of course its from the BBC,who else....Well thanks for letting me know, but tell me,is the show worth watching, the promo didn't seem that good?..And I'll never again assume its from the BBC. HA! :D
I really like it. The show is a lot of fun and so are the characters. Some of the plots can be overly silly but the characters make those episodes passable.
I say give it three episodes to see if it grows on you.
Starz and BBC America made the same 'original series' claim this year for Torchwood and Doctor Who, seems it must be a must have buzz word when you release someone else's show, lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Like it, thanks ! But nothing new :-(
ReplyDeleteSyfy is showing season one in January.

ReplyDeleteI have been watching Lost Girl online It will be great to see it on US TV.
ReplyDeleteI think they do it because they can get away with it in TV markets that aren't familiar with the particular TV series in question.
