  1. Loved the surprise that leering at naked woman might be something men would pay for... Gee, ya think?
Although erotic imagery and nude paintings had been around for millenia by that point, and erotic etchings and prints for a couple hundred years, I guess real pornographic images and movies were just starting to find evolve with the invention of photography and movies  in the decade or two prior to Hell on Wheels.

Quite odd to think of cowboys being charged for peepshows! XD

  2. Well, now we know that Eva hasn't painted her chin, it is in fact a tattoo. Anyway, her and Elam's story wasn't exactly my fav one.

Will the McGinnes brothers be opening Hell on Wheels' first strip club?

  3. At first I was thinking they'd be taking nudies of whatever women are around and doing show for the men. Maybe they will send out to the big city and get some photos like that? Although the strip club idea makes a lot of sense if they can find the dancing girls and the saloon.

  4. I didn't take the whole watching the women thing not very serious during the episode, but now that Esler has talked about it, I'm sure they will be up to something. Hopefully it will make the brothers' story more interesting. I don't dislike them, but they wouldn't be missing at all.

  5. So I was really interested in this when the series was announced, and then I forgot about it. I was wondering if you guys really like it? I tend to like period dramas and thought this one looked intriguing!
