  1. Ugh, fuck this. I'm out this year. I hate Ricky Gervais and I thought he was extremely unfunny last year.

  2. Great news! He was the only part worth watching of that ridiculous show.

  6. Ricky Gervais was superfunny! I am looking forward to it.

It will be refreshing not to have to listen to the same old style of jokes people usually tell while hosting, because he dares to be different and to make people actually laugh and not only chuckle.

Well, it only shows that it is all about the ratings. Otherwise I don't think TBTB would ask him to host again after last year's OTT outcry. I believe that they are hoping for some extra viewers due to the whole buzz after last year's gig.

  9. Those people are gluttons for punishment. After he insulted so many people last year, he is going to bring more of that. Ha, it would be something to see.

  14. Nobody watches the Golden Globes for the class and good taste, but Gervais was over the line several times the last go-round. It'll be interesting to see how many celebrities don't attend because he's hosting.

  16. And i can't see many people not showing up.If your up for a nomination,i couldn't see someone not showing up just because of him.Actors like to be seen and its one of the nights where they could be seen in all there finest,at least to them. Its also a good night for partying and rubbing up against the mucky mucks..and no matter what any of they say, they want to win and hold that prize up for all to see, besides its gets them roles they might not have gotten otherwise....and as for Ricky Gervais,he can be crass and a pain in the ass, everyone knows that by now,and if your looking for that said prize well he is a minor annoyance on the way to grabbing that golden boy! :...That's my take on the golden globe and Ricky Gervais .:)
