I'm thinking there's at least 12 if they all have names (for us, more as clarity to distinguish them) after months. And also in interviews, Pinkner and Wyman said in s4 we'd learn more about the Observers? If I recall correctly, anyway.
Wait I just realised something, if the history of the show has changed, does that mean August never died? Or will he still have died the way we saw because the Observers are independent of the different time lines?
I think it's possible that's been the case the whole time. But I think it's complicated.
In Brown Betty it was alluded that "the watchmen" worked for Nina Sharp...
Additionally we have to ask ourselves if we were to create 'super-people' to save the universes, then what elements would they need to have...time/reality travel, lack of personal connections but operate at a high brain function to be able to know/create more probable outcomes (Milo Stanfield "The Plateau)....We know that this is even hard for them (August) That's why I think ALL shapeshifter story lines are important, because we see how hard it is to create something that doesn't want to be like us!
Good and bad just depend on what the Observers are trying to do, but clearly from "The Firefly" they don't have all the answers and may be wrong...and maybe it will turn out to be wrong for them to not care about humanity????
I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiUAHPYWLHw. It's the same guy. He's known as Steve Weller and he was raised in Liverpool. I read "he's a cross between Woody Allen and Hannibal Lecter." This will be interesting.
Wait... what? A cross between Woody Allen and Hannibal Lecter? XD So anywhere between confident man who slaughters in joy and insecure man who stutters in fear? Okay then! XD
From the looks of that video his acting leaves something to be desired. I've seen better acting from a two year old! Even his "Natural" Liverpoolian accent sucks. LOL! I hope he doesn't have a speaking part, or at least I hope he's had some acting lessons since theis "Demo" reel. Seriously is he proud of that demo reel?!?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Another observer?

ReplyDeleteWho is Steven Weller and from where can I know him? Anybody knows?
ReplyDeleteThere's 1 entry for an actor with that name on IMDB.. he has a very limited resume.

I think that the observers will be the big bad of this season...

ReplyDeleteThanks! I always wondered how many of them are there. And who they are. :3
ReplyDeleteI think this is pretty neat news! I love the idea of coming to know new things just by being able to see an alternate version of history!

The new August maybe?

He looks like an Observer.
ReplyDeleteThey are (like the) hybrids. Walter created them - in the future - to ensure the timeline gets fixed.
ReplyDeleteYay! One step closer to my "Peter & September vs. The Observers" storyline (that will never happen).
ReplyDeleteNever say never! I'd be interested in that!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds good - I love finding out more about the Observers.
