    I'm loving the focus on Peter doing a lot this season. A whole promo just for him! And the awesome moment between Peter and Olivia. Huzzah, closeness. NOW KISS!

    if you look closely when hes stroking her cheek hes wearing a wedding ring, i would say its a dream and the bit at the end makes it a nightmare :L

    Here are the screencaps from this promo and you can see a ring on Peter's finger in these.
    It has to be a dream, she is going from standing in the background, unable to give him the tools to help in the shapeshifter ep, as Lincoln points out, to laying in the park.

    It might not be a dream it could be a memory. Remember he lived that whole future timeline where he ended up marrying Olivia, it could be a moment from those extra sixteen years he had on everybody.

    Forgotten or not, and as fun as the new versions of everybody and Lincoln being around more has been, Fringe did not feel like Fringe without Peter in it.  So glad he's back, and I'm happy for any positive Peter/Olivia interaction, whether it's a dream or not.  Now if Walter could just manage to look him in the eye again ...

    This Olivia does look like the one who was running Fringe so I thought it must be a mixed-up 'memory' of that future... Which doesn't exist anymore because Peter didn't use the weapon against Red, but its where Walter built the machine which they sent back with people who nobody knows exists except Sam Weiss (who doesn't exist, so far, in this reality) which gives me a headache.

    I think the sneak peek in the lab was better for my health.

    your right, that would be his right hand, but ok... so this might be me getting all poetic into it and what not but, he might be wearing it as a reminder of what he's fighting for...having seen the future with liv and as a reminder of how much of a family they were, how much he and his walter had grown as a link back to the blue Universe (other timeline)

    This may also be a time jump
    Nightmare mixed into a dream. I mean totally how often to your nightmares start out all cool and dreamy and the WHAMO turn into the nightmare, like it looks like its doing here. With her telling him it is him.
