With Desperate Housewives inching closer to its series finale this May, the show is welcoming back three of its most popular graduates: Dana Delany (Katherine), Kyle MacLachlan (Orson) and Andrea Bowen (Julie).
The length and timing of the trio’s comeback stints are not known. (ABC declined to comment.)

    yeay Dana is returning im super excited!!!!!! Katherine eventually grew on me, i was sad to see her leave. But I do enjoy body of proof!!!

    YES!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D This bit of news just made my day. XD I love those characters so much, they couldn't end DH without bringing 'em back. Hopefully Katherine returns with Robin (Julie Benz), and they bring others back as well!! :D

    Exactly, they were so adorable together, I definitely want Katherine to return and will even take her solo, but if she doesn't come back with Robin I'll be very disappointed.

    Now, DH Gods, three women left: Alfre Woodard, Drea de Matteo and, yes, even Nicollette Sheridan. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! :D

    Oh, and grown-up Kayla. :P

    LOL Orson was annoying at times, but I still feel like he's Bree's best match. I wouldn't mind them ending up together, it'd make more sense than all the random dudes she's hooking up with now.

    I'd like to see her getting her life back on track. Maybe even going back to medical school? They just discarded her whole life to get her to fit in season 6's stories, and then they discarded her as well mid-way through the season. Like Bob Daily said, a lot of loose ties. Like Sophie's cancer, too.

    Nope, it's Bree/Karl all the way for me. Still pissed they killed him off when KYLE LEFT AT THE END OF THE SEASON. THEY SHOULD HAVE KILLED ORSON INSTEAD. ASKLDFJALKDFJ

    But yeah, Bree needs to be single for a while. I'm tired of her dating life.

    I know, right? It's not even so much that they didn't bring her back. They didn't bring back Felicia for four straight seasons. It's that they never bothered to mention her, not even once! It's like Tom and Lynette have completely forgotten about Kayla, which is insane! :|

    Yup. She was a little socipath, but that's beside the point. The Kayla storyline should be wrapped up, instead of them ending it with her driving off in a car with relatives.

    Love Orson, love Kyle. Can't wait! Bree and Orson had better work things out, I loved their chemistry and Orson is porbably one of my favourite characters in Desperate Housewives. He was a perfect flawed character.

    1. Alfre Woodard (Betty Applewhite) and her storyline have been over for years.
    2. Drea de Matteo (Angie Bolen), hell yeah... I'd love to see, Nick, and Danny back!
    3. Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Brit), she died on the show; it would be impossible for her to come back!

    It's like Judy Winslow on Family Matters, she disaperared into her bedroom at the last episode of the forth season and NEVER came back and was NEVER mentioned again!

    Celia, Gabby and Carlos' younger daughter, is hardly ever seen; and she hardly talks, they need an episode about her. Or a storyline!

    I don't get why people keep saying it's impossible for Edie to come back when one of the main regulars has been dead from the very start and is featured in some way in every episode. Not to mention that this show regularly resorts to flashbacks. She could very well make an appearance in the finale in one of those. And I know that Betty's story is done with, I don't want closure for her, I just wanna see her again, Alfre Woodard is awesome.

    Yeah. Seeing Flashbacks of Edie would be nice; I wonder if they would show Dave, after he went to the mental hospital in Boston... :/ He was a MAJOR part of season 5!

    I liked Betty Applewhite's storyline; wasn't that big of a fan, it was interesting seeing they had their son/brother held hostage in real life, locked in a basement... Or do you?

    If Julie is coming back; is Sophie (Susan's mother) and aunt (Claire; shown in season 7 for an episode)... Are they coming back? The last you knew about Sophie is that she and Morty were going on a three month "cruise"... She was really getting chemotherapy!

    Would you really like that? I'm only saying because, even though Celia definitely deserved a chance to be in the spotlight, I wouldn't want an episode wasted on her in the final season, particularly when Gaby has already had filler stories so far. They really should had given Celia something better to do in the past three seasons, but now that they haven't, I honestly don't care to see it happening anymore. I would like to see more of her, though, she's funny. :P
