LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3, 2011 — Stars across CBS will take over the network’s Facebook pages and Twitter feeds for a full week from Nov. 5-11. As part of “CBS SOCIAL SWEEP WEEK,” talent from Entertainment and Sports will program the official social media sites for their respective shows on the day of their broadcast that week.
Each morning, fans can log on to CBS’s Twitter or Facebook accounts, or CBS.com for a special message revealing which stars from that night’s CBS Television Network lineup will be taking over their show’s social media accounts. Throughout the day, fans will be able to view pictures, videos, exclusive show content and status updates posted by the talent, and will also be able to interact by asking questions and commenting on postings.
The event kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 5 when CBS Sports broadcasts the most highly anticipated college football game of the year as #1-ranked LSU takes on #2-ranked Alabama. The social media takeover continues throughout CBS’s top-rated primetime schedule for the following week.

  1. I'm really interested in seeing who takes over for some of my favorite shows. I"m assuming Probst for Survivor.

  3. Really curious to see who will take over CSI:Miami pages. Unlikely it will be Emily Procter, given her well known poor tech knowledge, but it would be a dream!
