Wow, expected it to be a huge it, but this surprises me a little bit. Anyway, good for them.
ReplyDeletea 4.8?? Holy Crap! Congratulations!! AMC promoted well. Their bosses must be twisting their hands together, cackling madly with glee!
ReplyDeletewow. Waiting for the "The Walking Dead - Renewed for a 3rd Season" headline
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the show and to AMC! I'm still a bit chaffed at AMC over the Frank Darabont snafu as it seemed to be over monetary issues (unlesss I'm way off). I'm curious to see the feel of the show when we get to the eps that he wasn't a part of, but am conifdent that Glenn M will take it in a good direction.
ReplyDeleteYeah that should be coming any day now, huh?
ReplyDeleteI'm just so frustrated that "Breaking Bad" will never get those numbers, you would think that it would have more of a "mass appeal" than a show about zombies. I mean seriously, after last week's season finale, I'm even more at a loss as to how people still haven't been tuning in. Guess four seasons' worth of critical acclaim just aren't enough!
Wow. Just wow.
ReplyDeleteCritical aclaim rarely results in great viewers numbers. It's a pity, but most people do not want to invest time or don't want to think a lot. That's one of the main reasons why shows like CSI and other procedurals are far more successful.
ReplyDeleteFuck Yeah
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad for AMC and The Walking Dead crew. The showmakers definitely have a good vision even if Darabont is absent. I doubt most shows on broadcast TV will see these numbers this year.
ReplyDeleteWell actually 2.01 was made when Darabont was still on.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see some of these possible changes, after 2.04/2.05.
That is so deserved.
ReplyDelete:D That's great! that's smell like S3!
ReplyDeleteYay! Go them!
