Okay, so this is a big one actually, so everyone who doesn't want to be spoiled, STAY AWAY and DO NOT READ FURTHER!!!
BIG SPOILER AHEAD!!!
The zombie you are seeing in this sneak peek appears to have hanged himself. I suppose he was a person who tried to commit suicide by hanging himself and therefore avoiding to be turned into a zombie. But in the comics it turns out everyone is infected. Everyone is a carrier and it doesn't matter if you die from a zombie bite or any other way like hanging yourself (unless of course you blow your brains out, only way to be sure). Once you are dead you will turn into a zombie. I suppose in the next episode we will see T-Dog die from his infection on his way to the farm with Glenn and he will be quite surprised to see T-Dog turn into a zombie. But this part is just a guess.
woar this is actually pretty awesome! great spoiler thank you! but glenn wont die wont he? :D so everybody in the world will turn a zombie when they eventually die? so even rick, shane etc.?
It was just a guess. Glenn will be fine for sure, maybe even T-Dog.
And yes, even Rick or Shane would turn into a zombie after their death. In the comics Shane died from a gunshot some time before they got to Hershel's farm and the group burried him. Later they found out that everyone is infected so Rick went back and found Zombie Shane in the grave, then he put him out of his misery.
Actually I thought of that too when I saw the premiere. Nevertheless I doubt that they would change that from the comics and they just don't care. In the comics there were also corpses lying around that weren't zombies, but it didn't matter. I guess we will find out next week.
I do agree with the corpses in the cars thing. That is one flaw about that theory. But if that is where they are going, then that could be what Jenner whispered into Rick's ear. It would make sense, seeing as how last episode Rick said that "There is no cure."
I'm of the impression that the people in the cars--they died early. They didn't have a chance to become carriers to the walker disease. The people who are still alive have been alive longer, have fought the walkers longer, and therefore are carriers and will turn upon death. If suicide guy is a branch to that discovery, then he probably killed himself several days or even weeks after the walker thing started, long enough for him to be a carrier. Also, the people in the cars? Maybe some of them were the few immune, because not all of those cars have bodies in them. Some of them may have turned naturally by being bitten, others...not so much. (Also, what killed the people in the cars? They have no noticeable physical wounds that I've seen, and there's not much, if any, dried blood in any of the cars that I've seen shown.)
Interesting theory but I see a flaw in it. This season's premiere was my husband's 1st time watching The Walking Dead. When the group was scavenging around the traffic jam, he asked me why the corpses in the surrounding cars weren't zombies. I told him that only those who were bitten became zombies. If your theory for the tv series is true, and all dead humans eventually turn into zombies, then why were there decaying corpses of humans? (And they obviously were decaying corpses, not freshly dead potential-zombies. And none of them looked to have been shot in the head, like our friend in the tent.)
It was just a guess. Glenn will be fine for sure, maybe even T-Dog.

Interesting dynamic there...I'm glad that we will get more of Daryl.
