    Yeah. The fruit did nothing for me either. And I prefer them in a darker setting than the official "white" poster that was made for this season. Still, the white one was "new" and this just seems very much "same old same old" to me.

    After looking at it a second time.... does it strike anyone as a bit odd that in the middle of an empty decrepit warehouse is a Victorian table and a bar stool?? XD

    Yes, I think those would be great ideas for posters/promotional photos. And this show is about so much more then the love triangle between these three.

    I'm trying to think of a CW show that got it right, though. But it's late here and I'm blank. :)

    Maybe the modern granite tile symbolizes Elena, and the rickety old furniture represents her old as dirt beaus....okay, I should really stop talking now. :D

    I realize it's crazy to analyze a promo poster, but I'm not sure how I feel about the color scheme (or lack thereof).  Maybe they decided the red theme was too overdone by now, but brown?

    I think part of the problem or the reason so many of the promo shoots feel "old"  is that they are all of the 3 leads posed in stationary portraits. They often end up looking similar....

    It would be nice to get some action shoots for a change of pace. Something with movement or story more than just portraits.

    I second your fruit comment.  I like the poster too but it's a bit odd.  Stefan and Damon are wearing street clothes while (who I'm assuming is) Katherine is dressed for some sort of goth fetish ball.  But, TVD set the promotional bar pretty low this season so I agree this is probably the best poster of the lot so far.

    Interesting how her legs are intertwined with Damon's, not Stefan's. They are really shifting their focus on the triangle this season.

    I agree though it'd be nice to get a poster with the rest of the cast for a change. On the show there are so many other amazing storylines. Their PR makes it look like it's all about these three.
