LOL, can't wait!
ReplyDelete^^; how not to tell anything in a press release
ReplyDeletePWAHHAHA! Do i see two grooms LOL sorry sorry
ReplyDeleteThey are good at that :P
ReplyDelete:P Like we say in french ::''Jpense quon sfais niaiser''
ReplyDeleteOMG CAN'T FREAKIN WAIT!!!!! 4 more episodes until then!
ReplyDeleteBig time. Can't wait to see the promo for it
ReplyDeletexD Just when we started to think we could get more 'absurd' than french mistake...
ReplyDeleteTheory: Dean/Garth!
ReplyDeleteSo, it's episode 8 and this is already the second episode where Sam "runs into someone from his past and a confrontation ensues" this season. Is Dean going to kill this person too? XD At this rate, we can expect three more instances where Sam "runs into someone from his past and a confrontation ensues" before season 7 is over.
ReplyDeleteif the rumors are truth it's may be Becky :P...I wouldn't mind Dean killing her xD
ReplyDeleteIf that's true then I suggest Sam run in the opposite direction instead of confronting her.
ReplyDelete'Slow torture is the way to go' :)
ReplyDeleteOh great! It's written by Dabb and Loflin and the brothers are separated (or at least that's what it sounds like to me). I guess going in with really low expectations means it can only get better when I watch it.
ReplyDeleteEgads! If Becky's in this episode, this has the potential to be the worst SPN episode ever. I hate Becky!
ReplyDeleteSlow hilarious torture. :)
ReplyDeletewhy you don't like Dabb and Loflin?
ReplyDeleteIf they were to bring someone back in that vein, I don't understand why they wouldn't bring back Sera Siege (Keegan Connor Tracy). I thought she was much more entertaining anyway.
ReplyDeleteBecause they continually slaughter the characters to fit their plots. The Girl Next Door was plain terrible writing and they have written I think 4 of my top 10 worst episodes. The only two shows they wrote that I really enjoyed were Weekend at Bobby's and Family Matters. They even managed to ruin the cowboy episode (Frontierland) by attaching the absolute worst ending of any Supernatural episode with the possible exception of Bugs. Basically I think they are hacks and I wish they would stop getting so many scripts to mess up.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, Garth, the one Bobby asks "How are you still alive?" from Weekend At Bobby's Garth?
ReplyDeleteThe Girl Next Door wasn't ALL terrible. Only about half of it was terrible. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right - the acting was great as usual. It was only the writing that truly sucked.
ReplyDeletewow... they are good writers... yellow fever, weekends at bobby... you can't be serious
ReplyDeletewhat was wrong with girl next door? are you whining because dean killed a monster?
ReplyDeleteThis is either gonna be awesome or horrible. Dabb and Loflin are completely hit and miss with me.
ReplyDeleteActually, the decision to make a creature Sam's first kiss was a stroke of genius. It really explains a lot about the character. It's a eureka moment for any psychiatrist worth their salt.
ReplyDeleteExcept in The Girl Next Door (which I personally liked), when did they ever slaughter characters ? I like these guys, and I think it's a little bit extreme to call them hacks since they've been on the show for 3 years and have proven to be great writers, IMO. Sure, they wrote a couple of crappy ones, but so did everybody else, even Ben Edlund.
ReplyDeleteIf anything i'm more worried about the writers i don't know
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not "whining" because Dean killed Amy. I think he did the right thing.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm..... I'm sitting in my 'wait and see' chair for this one - they're not really giving us much to work with here. New director too. Luckily we've still got Ackles/Padalecki whom we can absolutely rely on to do the very best with what they're given.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds interesting. This Garth character sounds like there might be some funny scenes since he gets on Dean's nerves
ReplyDeleteI hope the rumors aren't true and that Becky is not in this. I never had much against her, but I'm not exactly waiting to see her again either... Well, let's just wait and see
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a monster wedding, and Dean needs to crash it :P
ReplyDeleteDean Winchester: Terrorizing monsters on their wedding day since 2011.
ReplyDeleteHa! That should totally be on a shirt or something. Or like 'Dean Winchester - Turning wedding bells to wedding hells'
ReplyDeleteI agree, Dahne.
ReplyDeleteThey are inconsistent in the way they write the characters. I liked Yellow Fever. Their story ideas are good, but the way they write Sam and Dean is a bit off sometimes, and they can't seem to follow through on the promised ideas. But at least this sound funny and they do deliver the laughs.
Oops. I loved Dark Side of the Moon too. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I personally will never forgive them for what they did with the Samulet >__<
ReplyDeleteHowever, I did like some of their episodes. Hoping for the best XD
if it is Becky why would there be a confrontation between them?
ReplyDeletebloody hell you're observant
ReplyDeletethey have a very immature and crass sence of humour and I always find they write Dean like an idiot and dont really write Sam at all. I have very low expectations for this episode.
ReplyDeletethe one thing the fans ask for every season is for the brothers to be together and hunting and its the one thing the writers continue to ignore.
ReplyDeleteI dont think they slaughter characters but I dont think they write them particularly consistantly either.
ReplyDeleteSo far the best episode of the season by far has been episode 2 which was written by Ben Edlund. IMO his best episode in a very long time. The season prem was Sera Gamble's best episode for a few seasons too. D & L got lucky with WAB but other than that I havent really been impressed with any of their episodes. TGND was another miss. Dont get me started on Adam Glass his episodes always lack in both character and storyline depth and are quite often inconsistant. DYL was a mess.
Last season we had a few new writers join the team that were just plain aweful-Mannequin 3 anyone?!
ReplyDeleteI feel like this needs to be a Hangover episode... one of the boys wakes up married and has no clue what has happened... maybe even throw in Mike Tyson's Tiger! LOL
ReplyDeleteHoly Crap!!!!!!! You win the most observant fan award for today... and the rest of the millennium!
ReplyDeleteI agree. There have been some weak moments, but they made some really good episodes too. Frontierland, WaB, Unforgiven, Dark Side, and Yellow were all really strong episodes. I'm not excited about what we've heard about this upcoming episode though. Also I'm sure the decision to introduce this Amy plot didn't least solely with them.
ReplyDeletethe acting is always good, its the one thing we cant complain about on this show.
ReplyDeleteToo vague...
ReplyDelete^^; its not like this kind of decision is taken alone, big decisions are taken inside the writer room between all writers
ReplyDeleteI'm reading all of the notes. Why is everyone putting everything down before even seeing it? I was reading complaints earlier that there was no humor. We've always had funny, crazy episodes. To be honest, I am enjoying this season and just happy to still have it. I agree we can not enjoy one, but we usually give it a chance first. Sheesh, people.
ReplyDeleteThe partnership between Dean and Garth has some great potential.
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided yet about the writers. They've done some really good episodes, but they've also done some pretty weak ones.I hope they do better than they did with "The Girl Next Door".
Am I the only fan that liked Becky, I still see her with hand on Sam's chest and that look she gave to Dean. Funny.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn9_SKm5VKg
ReplyDeleteWhich writers do you like?
ReplyDeleteit's not like I totally hate her, she had some funny moments, when I went to the Chicago con in 2009 I missed the episode on thursday and saw it at the Con with many others fans and we had real fun watching the Convention episode at a Con xD......but it's just at the same time I have some mixed feelings about her^^; first time around she's kind of funny, second time, considering where I watch the episode it was some fun too...but for a 3rd time...I'm not sure ^^; 3 episodes for her is like too much
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the sarcasm with both of these responses (TVmonkey too)? Not everyone remembers every single detail from every single episode. I wouldn't have picked up on this if I hadn't read it online, but then WaB never ranked in my top 10 favorite episodes. It was a fun episode but kind of forgettable, I thought.
ReplyDeleteDont jump to conclusions not everyone is all about being rude or sarcastic, I was genuinely impressed that someone picked that up because I didnt.
ReplyDeleteYou know what they say about people who ASSUME dont you?
The Samulet is dead and buried, its all about the trench coat now.
ReplyDeletethey're also taken when actors complain about wearing said amulet and writers are trying to keep the actor sweet
ReplyDeleteMy mistake then. I assumed sarcasm because you and Carmen were laying on the praise pretty thick, but if I was wrong, I stand corrected.
ReplyDelete^^;`there's nothing new with TVmonkey...when there was the cake clip of Girl next door, 90% of the comment were jokes or 'laugh or whatever and when I made a joke about the cake, tvmonkey picked on me like I was the most serious person in the world...or like I was stupid enough to seriously believe that the worst thing ever happening to the boys was a missing cake...xD
ReplyDeleteeither way there's no reason to blame everything on the writers of the episode where the amulet disapeared
ReplyDeleteomG can't wait for friday night SPN!!
ReplyDeletedamn, they are such a tease! :) we want to know more NOW !!! lol
ReplyDelete:) THANK YOU for that....and people who try to joke around and just enjoy the ride are getting bite by others ^^; I had a lot of doubts about french Mistake, I give a chance and it was a lot better and funnier than I expected :)
ReplyDeleteSomeone from Sam's past? Again?
ReplyDeleteI knew it... ok who did Sam knock up? LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteit was a story decision and a good one imo, I don't think it's needed anymore
ReplyDeleteVague but I'm looking forward to this ep.
ReplyDeleteI dont like this, they dont mention anything about the wedding!
ReplyDeleteA while ago, someone posted that they already knew what would happen. I haven't read the entire story, but it sounded to me like Becky had made some kind of love potion to get Sam to be with her (wouldn't be surprised if she actually tried that). I would call that a confrontation. I don't know what's true of that story, for all I know that person's just made it all up. If it's all true, I just hope they've found a way to make it work (I have faith, I really do!).
ReplyDeleteWow, I still got no idea what will happen ^^
ReplyDeleteThat has to be the ultimately best-worded press release I've ever read.
ReplyDeleteWait, they wrote Weekend At Bobby's and Family Matters?
ReplyDeleteI really can't tell what I think of them now... O.O
I'm not Dahne *SURPRISE!* But my favorite writer for SPN is Ben Edlund, by a longshot.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually surprised you guys didn't pick this up earlier. I remember the connection was made back when the casting call was posted and I suppose I just assumed whoever guessed was right.
ReplyDeleteHowever, yes Emily, good catch. :D
wonder who that someone is?
ReplyDeleteIf you told me you were Dahne, I'd be really worried given how often you argue with yourself and how heated those arguments sometimes get. I like Ben too, but then I liked The Third Man.
ReplyDeleteFangirl Becky isn't so bad, unless she has been possessed by the Leviathan and then Dean should kill her. Sam has no feelings for her, but I believe she is harmless. As always, cannot wait for another great episode! This season is turning out to be one of the best so far and it seems to be getting better and better with each passing week!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it would get a couple of laughs. Too bad she and Chuck broke up. Could have led to a showdown of sorts.
