They took Sam's awkward stretching out of the scene :( Weill I suppose we expected that wouldn't be in the episode anyways, but still loved that funny scene.
I hate that the awkward stretching and Dean's attempts while Sam was in another room is not in this. It was pure Winchester perfection. I am so glad that Jared shared with everyone before it was removed. This episode may just become a classic.
And now I've got a sick mashup of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. opening credits sequence, sprinkled with Corteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc eating people's faces off. Thanks Katie. lol
I asked Jim Michaels via twitter yesterday if it's likely that the clip Jared posted would end up on the gag reel. His response was that he'd like it to be, but in the end it's up to Warner Bros. I'm really really hoping it will be, or at least tagged into the end credits of the episode like Eye of the Tiger was. I always knew those horrible hair dryers were bad news.
They couldn't really let the "help me stretch my groin" comment stay in... Plus, can you really imagine a Winchester brother doing grande pliees (those deep knee bends) in front of anybody? I loved that scene though. I sure hope it will be included on the gag reel. If we see it at the end of the episode it will be even better because that means I'll get it on my iTunes copy.
It disappeared so fast that I am wondering if he got in trouble for posting it? I doubt he had time to get Warner Brothers approval first... I sure hope he didn't get in trouble because I would love, love, love to see more outtakes.
I hope he didn't get into trouble either, although Jim Michaels tweeted that there was a surprise coming up for the fans shortly before the clip was posted, so at least one of the executive producers knew about it.
Ridiculously excited for this episode. Can't wait to see Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters hit it out of the park. It would be absolutely hilarious if they put the footage Jared tweeted at the end.
This episode wrapped a while ago so my guess is that Warner Brothers encouraged him to do it. I think it got pulled because it reached its maximum amount of hits, but that's pure conjecture on my part. Jared and Jensen have both been really good about telling what they can and talking sidewise to not tell what they couldn't. I doubt he would leak something that wasn't fully vetted by WB.
lol. Ya, I knew they wouldn't put in the episode. I thought it was probably shot for fun, cause the Winchesters would never make those comments and Sam's stretching was very...intense. Still loved the scene though :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This is gonna be so much fun ;)

ReplyDeleteI hope so. That's one of the things i'm looking forward to. It would be a shame to let the opportunity slip past them.
