  1. Awesome! And I knew killing Amy was Dean's big secret they were talking about! So cannot wait until Friday.

  4. Seriously killing Amy is the big secret?

If so I'm disappointed, with all the possibilities for big secrets I really think the writers should come up with something better.
I do hope the secret is something exciting and scary not what hunters do, killing a monster that has eaten people and is likely to do so again.

  5. I'm with you. Dean killed a monster behind his brother's back *le gasp*, but after they jumpstarted the apocalypse everything falls short.

I dunno, could it have been something more shocking?, like he bought a condo in boca raton or plans to join a traveling circus.

  6. If I remember correctly I think jensen said something about that secret being take care of quickly and he still doesn't know about the big one (I think they were filming episode 7 or 8 when the interview took place)

  7. I think you just wrote a Supernatural commercial.

  8. Yes, that's what recall from Jensen's recent interview, too, that killing Amy is not "Bigger Secret" Dean keeps, and IIRC Jensen didn't know  yet what his "secret" was and *I think* they were either well into filming 7.08 or may have just started filming 7.09.  Lying about NOT letting Amy "go" is small potatoes in Winchesterland.

If/when Sam finds out he'll be upset about her death and more upset that Dean lied but I think Sam will see the event through Dean's eyes and accept it because that's "an in character" thing for Sam to do.  He may have had empathy and gratitude for what Amy did to save him but he'll be more concerned about Dean's mental state because Osiris targets "guilty hearts", I don't *know* if the "Amy-thing" will eventually come to light in 7.04 but Sam knows Dean has an established history of feeling guilty for a lot of outcomes that were beyond his control.

Shaula Dfn and Kati actually proved that it wasn't the big secret back in the What did you think thread for episode 3. This is what Shaula Dfn showed of the interview.

The Season 7 synopsis said something like, "Dean struggles under the
weight of a secret that threatens to tear them apart." Does that relate
to the trial, or is it something separate?

    JA: That's something separate.

Can you tease anything about it?

JA: [vehemently shakes his head] You know why? Because I don't know. They tease me just as much as they tease you!

Apparently this secret will also be resolved in a few episodes (heard that somewhere else, can't remember where though). Even though I would have been fine with this secret, the thought that there's another unknown one is exciting. I wonder if it will have anything to do with why Dean's eyes bled in Bloody Mary? I heard that Erik Kripke had confirmed at the LA Con in 2008 that it was because of a dark secret.

  10. God, of course Dean's at risk for something that targets guilty people. He feels guilty about pretty much everything.
I'm excited to see what Dean's big secret is. I hope it's something juicy and not something lame.

  11. Looks awesome! Poor Sam, though. If/when he finds out Dean killed Amy...that's gonna hurt. (Oh, boys, why do you keep secrets from each other? Don't you have enough problems already?) And naturally Osiris would target Dean...who's more guilty than him? He collects guilt from everything he does!

Oh, and Sam's hair. Yes please. Looking very long and soft. I like.

  12. I knew that last episode was a set up for this one

  13. Actually it would make much more sense if Dean was feeling guilty about Amy in this episode, not Jo. The Jo thing doesn't seem to have any other point than bringing Alona Tal back, who I really could have lived without.
I mean, with all my respect for Alona. I just hate Jo and as far as I can tell from the promos, bringing her back in this episode is absolutely pointless.

Also, hope all this hating on Dean for killing Amy ends soon.

  14. Killing Amy is a big problem? I don't think So. IF Dean felt Gulty to Jo, I could understand since Jo dead because she saved Dean from hellhounds

    ReplyDelete
  15. yeah, but Dean literally KILLED Amy with cold blood, while Jo... just died in the battlefield. There are dozens of people, whose death Dean could feel guilty about. Jo... not so much. I really don't get it.

Hmmm... Osiris is supposed to be a classy noble god... Not a clown or some tv show runner >_>
Well maybe it's just a false impression, I guess it's better if I wait to see the actual episode before complaining. Still...
