I hope that episode will be better than the last one...but I don't have too much hope, don't want half an episode or the whole of Dean crying anw guilty he is...I want the story to move on
I'm excited for lawyer!Sammy but I never really warmed up to Jo, so I'm not too excited to see her. I didn't dislike her, I just never found her all that interesting.
Me too! this was the one I was excited for. A chance for Dean to wash away the guilt and get some hope back in his life. I wasn't a big fan of Jo in season 2, but I did like her after that and I loved the way she and Ellen went out in Abandon All Hope. The touching goodbye between her and Dean was very sweet. I can't wait to see the awkwardness of their reunion. :)
This is looking good. Loved the last episode too, thought Jensen did a great job directing it. It will be good to see Jo back and how Dean deals with seeing her again. I like the actor who is playing the Egyptian god.
I hope this trial focuses on the torturing in Hell, rather than Jo, because that's really the guilt that Dean has been carrying. He's been in a depression since Hell, and he's never really faced his actions other than admitting to Sam what he did. I don't even get where guilt with Jo comes in. She was there by her own free will and was killed by hell hounds, not by Dean.
I hope the trial focuses on more than just Jo, I hope it involves his guilt with Cas and Adam and everything else, because if the big focus is on Jo, then I don't get it, especially when there are more things Dean should be guilty about than Jo who knew exactly what she was doing when she died.
lol Dean does cry alot ae lol .But no i am liking this season but thats your opinion but agree with the Dean thing though i feel it still has to be dealt with cause when dean gets upset ,gulity, he gets angry and dont like angry dean lol x
Don,t get my wrong I LOVE Season 7, the first 2 episodes were totally awesome..but the 3rd one was a total let down for me,like the way the big cliff from episode 2 were fine after 30 seconds and the fact there was no action, no pace and all
In others series, when you have a trial, usually it's some long scenes of talking about things that happened before with a lot of flashback, I don,t want a flashback episode with no action instead of the boys talking and having arguments with Osiris ^^; I guess we'll see
I swear... if they character assasinate Jo, I'll be so pissed! My hope is she will be there to get Dean out of this mess not dig him in deeper. Like Osiris brings her on to further prove Dean's guilt and she totally backs him up. THAT is how it should go down...
Lawyer!Sammy, tiedup!Dean... Win. :D It'll be cool to see Jo again. I wasn't crazy about her, but she was an alright character. I just hope they don't try and put her and Dean together or something...
There is no reason for Dean to feel guilty in regards to Cas. Cas, like Jo, made his own decisions when Dean tried to help him before. Cas didn't listen. Cas took down Sam's wall. Cas opened up Purgatory and ate all those souls all by himself. Dean should harbor NO guilt in regards to Cas because Cas did it all by himself.
I believe he may be feeling guilty about Jo because she died trying to save him from the hell hounds, and in the end, they failed in defeating Lucifer anyways. They asked for Jo and Ellen's help, and in the end they both died, and for no good reason and they failed... I think that's worthy of some sort of guilt, but I agree that it wasn't truly Dean's fault in the end. Think of it like this though, if you have a very close friend who decides to sneak out in the middle of the night to go to a party, and you tell her not to, but she goes anyways and gets into a car crash. Would you not feel guilty even though it wasn't remotely your fault?
Yeah, now that I think about it more, I could see there being some survivor's guilt there. Jo died in Dean's place. It doesn't make it his fault, but he's probably carrying it around with him.
I think the not listening went both ways and caused things to escalate to the point where Cas felt like he had to take down Cas's wall. I'm not excusing Cas's responsibility, but Dean played a large role in how things turned out.
Bleh! how many more seasons I'll have to see Jo in? I was so freaking glad when they finally killed her and her riddiculous "romantic" relationship with Dean off and now they're bringing this all back?
I know this is not gonna be my fav of the season.
Besides, Dean could feel guilty about zillion of things, so why Jo? how about all the people that died in Jus in Bello? or all the possesed people he didn't save? or all the souls he tortured in hell? or his own freaking father who sold his soul for him? he's done so much and yet the biggest guilt he's feeling is Jo? hard to believe for me.
I get that Dean has guilt about a lot of things but could someone please tell me why Dean should have any guilt about Jo whatsoever? I honestly don't get it.
