Ringer - Producers say Bridget won't fake a miscarriage

Oct 11, 2011

Bridget is figuring out what to do with the pregnancy issue. Siobhan, her twin sister, who she presumed died after a boating incident (she, of course, didn’t), was pregnant.

“It’s a quandary she finds herself in,” Charmelo said. “At this point she would probably be close to two months. She doesn’t have that much time left before she has to come up with a plan or explore the options or get pregnant, fake a miscarriage… if she’s not already pregnant… She was a stripper.”

It likely won’t be a miscarriage. Earlier in the Q&A session, Charmelo revealed the length of the season would “span the life of the pregnancy,” a hint that Bridget will be figuring something out in that department – and quick.

  1. Is Bridget going to get knocked up? Because that would be pretty dedicated.

    And I still want Bridget/Andrew.

  2. If Bridget is thinking of going through with this fake pregnancy, she's nuts.  There are way too many things that could get her caught in a lie.  It's a horrible idea.  She's already impersonating her sister, hiding in plain sight from the FBI, and trying to avoid hitmen and assassins, so Bridget is juggling too much as it is.  Adding "faking a pregnancy for seven more months" would be insane.

  3. Which is why that's probably what she's going to do.

  4. Heh.  Yeah, you're probably right about that.

  5. She could be even more nuts and get pregnant for real...

  6. I don't think that would work.  She's supposed to be two months along.  An eleven month pregnancy isn't going to fool anyone.

  7. "Bridge, what the hell is taking that fetus so long?"
(Now Bridget and Siobhan both have a funny nickname!)

  8. LOL. But more importantly, would it fly?

My guess is the ancient old trick - a pillow. Until it gets discovered or Shiv comes back. Or until the show is cancelled. Ratings aren't looking too good.

  9. Ratings aren't good for the CW as a whole, apparently.

  10. True. But Ringer is a brand new show. Ratings usually decline over time - or at least - on CW they do.

  11. Writers better have a good way to get Shivet out of this mess, a miscarriage is the obvious route but then she would have to go to doctors and they would realize she was never pregnant.

  12. do you need to say 'no' to one thing you don't need or 'yes' to one thing scrumptious now in order that success in being pregnant will likely be the pure subsequent step for you.
