Once the Duchess of Gossip Girl‘s Upper East Side, Mädchen Amick is readying to revisit New York City — on The CW’s Ringer.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the versatile actress — who is arguably best known for her portrayal of Shelly Johnson on the cult classic, Twin Peaks — has landed a potentially recurring role on The CW’s freshman thriller.

Amick will play Greer Sheridan, a “confident, sexy and strong-willed” socialite who once counted Siobhan (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar) as one of her closest friends. Unfortunately, a mysterious incident put a major strain on their relationship and Bridget (posing as her twin sister) makes it her mission to find out what went wrong when the two team up for a charity event. Amick makes her debut in Episode 11.

  1. Well, Amick does excel at playing manipulative so and so's. It should be a good fit.

  2. Two things.  1)  Kewl.  I like Amick.  and 2)  So, Bridget's mission has change?  (or would you call it more complicated)  :-)  Her new mission is actively fixing Siobhan's life?  lol

  3. Ringer is doing a good job with casting.  First, Jason Dohring, then Amber Benson, and now Mädchen Amick.  There always seems to be something (or someone) cool to look forward to on this show.

  4. There are a lot of mysterious incidents in Siobhan's life that lead to people falling out.  At some point, Siobhan is going to have to wonder if maybe it's her.
