  1. I guess they are trying to get more people into Ringer as it's struggling in the ratings.

  2. Wont NEW EPISODES of Ringer be airing on the 25th and 1st of November!?

  3. Ringer is actually pretty interesting, but it is def a show u have to follow, if u miss an episode it can be hard to catch up...i missed the Pilot, n started watching from the 2nd episode and luckily it was explained what happened.....Im so confused though about why the show is airing the episodes in some random order or 3 or 4 different nights during 2 weeks....

  4. They are desperate for more viewers.... I actually think it is a pretty decent show, had to get used to it, but starting to like it =)

  5. I like that they want Ringer to do well. Let's hope it rebounds in the ratings. I think it dipped into a 0.6 but then it went back up to a 0.8.

  6. Wow!  that's a lot of Ringer.  While I hope it gets more people watching because I am starting to really like this show, it has a real chance of backfiring.  If they replaced an episode of Supernatural with Ringer things would not be too pretty at the CW.  I imagine other shows have equally passionate fans.

  7. Maybe they also decided not to air new episodes of GG and HoD on Halloween, for the Monday replacement. They probably want to increase Ringer popularity too.

  8. what show isnt struggling on The CW though why so much Ringer and not any Encore of Secret Circle or Hart of Dixie?

  9. I'd be perfectly fine if they permanently replaced those shows with Ringer. :D
As long as nothing from Thursday or Friday is replaced.

  10. Ha!  I wouldn't object to that plan either.

  11. Secret Circle doesn't need it.  They have the super cushy spot after Vampire Diaries.  And the CW has spent a lot more money on promoting Ringer than Hart of Dixie.  My guess is Ringer is more expensive too.

  12. yes it does The ecret Circle isnt doing much better then Ringer nd it has to be atleast close to the budget Vampire Diaries and is only doing about a 1.4 W18-34 where ringer in only a tenth lower about so i woud say secret circle needs it just as much

  13. i would Think Secret Circle would be more expensie then Ringer with production costs but the promoted TSC alot too so it could be narly as much as ringer in marketing cause i saw commercials for it more then even ringer at times during the summer

  14. i would i Love Gossip Girl and 90210 so as long as they didnt't replace those shows i would be happy but could care less if they replaced Hart of Dixie and America's Next Top odel with Ringer but i think its because of halloween

  15. thats what im thinking too they probaly think the ratings wont be too good on Halloween

  16. The Secret Circle is CW's second highest rated show behind Vampire Diaries both in averaged demo and averaged numbers.  It is the only show besides Vampire Diaries that has reached a 1.0 or higher in demos more than once this season.  For the CW, Secret Circle is a hit.  While I guarantee they were hoping the numbers were higher, no one watching Secret Circle has to worry about its fate.

  17. it's actually ranked 4th if you count its key Demo W18-34 behind GG and 90210 but that is reassuring to know but it's A18-49 is down to 0.8 which is only 0.1 above Ringer

  18. They are trying to force Ringer to succeed by any means necessary. The question is, will it work?

    ReplyDelete
  19. As long as ringer doesn't come near supernatural and vampire diaries I'm happy :)

  20. I think they learned their lesson last year. I still remember the outpouring of hate from Smallville and Supernatural fans when The CW decided post-pone their spring premieres to air repeats of the TVD and NIkita premieres that aired the night before.

They haven't screwed with Supernatural since.

  21. Omg yeah I remember that. That was awful. Let's hope they never do that again

  22. Yes, I can hear people, particularly SPN fans) screaming bloody murder. :D

Mind you I've always been a fan of weekend marathons rather than one episode a night myself. I imagine new fans are much more likely to have a down weekend/hangover than to be home 3-4 week nights in a row. As Joanne said a few comments above, missing the pilot episode or episode 2 out of the 4 being shown, might mean the difference between passing an hour and getting hooked on the show.

  23. Ah, yes, the infamous Friday Night Apocalypse. I'm still trying to repress that.
