Considering that the MLB Playoffs were going on and were right in the middle of them during both coast's broadcasts of the show, (and for it being a Friday night/holiday weekend) this is pretty decent. And it won it's time slot in the 18-34's for the hour.
YAY! Fringe went up! I cannot wait to see how they figure in the DVR numbers! Keep it up Fringies! And watch live if you can next Friday! We have to keep our show alive! Next weeks epi is gonn be so sweet! Cannot wait!
For Nikita maybe, but since the 18-49 number count more, having a stable 0,7 for SPN isn't that bad. Only 3 shows have higher than 0,7 this week and SPN is on friday, where you expect lower ratings and it's also an 'old' show. no reason to panic for SPN
For Nikita, the 0,5 is the lowest number of the week for the CW, a show a lot younger, and dropping, more reasons to worry there
1.3 is better than 1.2! I will take it! And I fully believe the numbers will continue to go up especially when Peter comes back for those fans who perhaps refused to watch it without Peter. Go Fringe!
The ratings were plummeting at the start of Season 3, which I would argue has been the strongest the series has been to date (although the beginning of Season 4 is certainly veering in that direction :D).
The lead-in has more of an effect on the show it leads into than the show after has on the lead-in... So SPN's ratings are more likely affected by Nikita's lead-in than Nikita's ratings are affected by Supernatural's ratings.
I'm all for a move to Wednesday but I think the CW knows there other shows wouldn't do as well on Fridays. Except maybe Vampire Diaries and no way the CW moves that one - it's their only success.
I refuse to call them "FANS" when they are refuse to watch their show because Peter hasn't more than a few seconds of screen time. TEMPORARILY. It's also contra productive.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Still not good but I'll settle with any improvement.
ReplyDeleteThis show is SO good. It's a shame so few people are watching.

ReplyDeletekeep it up fringe fans!
ReplyDeleteI'll take anything that is in the UP direction. Let's see 1.5 or higher next week.
ReplyDeleteCome on Fringe LIVE LIVE!!! Congrats to FOX..I guess
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how people do this freaking ratings. Of course, SPN's ratings down, but that SO, just impossible.
ReplyDeleteFringe didn't win it's time period in 18-34. Dateline was equal and CSI NY was better with a 1.6
ReplyDeleteHere are CW's numbers for this week.
ReplyDeleteVampire Diaries 1.2/4 2.63 million viewers
Secret Circle 0.8/2 1.96
Hart of Dixie 0.8 1.75
Top Model 0.8/2 1.74
Supernatural 0.7/2 1.64 (Steady in 18-34 from last week)
GG 0.7/2 1.34
90210 0.7/2 1.29
Ringer 0.6/2 1.50
Nikita 0.5/2 1.60
H8R 0.4/1 1.07 (Cancelled)
Glad Fringe went up....needs to continue that way!
ReplyDeleteI guess FOX Research is wrong then?
ReplyDeletemaskedscheduler
#FRINGE up a tick to a 1.3 and won its time period in 18-34's Hell's Kitchen tops in 18-49's at 8 and FOX wins the night in 18-34's
Ya it is.
ReplyDelete18-34
CSI: NY 1.6/5
Dateline 1.3/4
Fringe 1.3/4
How is that winning it's time period in 18-34?
Those are not the 18-34, they are the 18-49
ReplyDeleteFringe is so good this year. i'm surprised that the ratings didn't go up more.
ReplyDeleteI think that if Fringe sustains this average with good DVR it has good chances to be renewed.
ReplyDeletelalalalala~~~~~~ Yo men Fringe!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to read it went up instead down....
ReplyDeleteok so I'm guessing Nikita is having really bad ratings.....does that mean it's not gonna get a third season ??? plz tell me that's not true!!! :(((
ReplyDeleteThank you. Glad someone understood me. LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking unlikely at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYAY! Fringe went up! I cannot wait to see how they figure in the DVR numbers! Keep it up Fringies! And watch live if you can next Friday! We have to keep our show alive! Next weeks epi is gonn be so sweet! Cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteOUCH
ReplyDeleteNikita is doing terribly in the ratings. And it's not helping Supernatural either.
ReplyDeleteWell i'm gald Fringe didn"t go down.
ReplyDeleteJMC00
ReplyDeleteHe works at FOX.
He is correct, you're confusing the 18-49 with 18-34
I think vice versa replies to that statement as well, this is such bad news.
ReplyDeleteYessssssssssss Fringe.
ReplyDeleteit's not ideal, but it's an improvement!!! let's just hope numbers, at least, stay there... last week's ratings really scared me!!!

ReplyDeleteYeah, Fringe. Way to go! Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteSupernatural - not good but not dropping in demos. Here's hoping the Buffy cast reunion draws in bigger numbers.
ReplyDeleteFringe - glad it is up.
I'm all for a move to Wednesday but I think the CW knows there other shows wouldn't do as well on Fridays. Except maybe Vampire Diaries and no way the CW moves that one - it's their only success.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if CSI: NY is going to be in danger again this season? Also hope that Supernatural can pull it around!!!! Fingers are now crossed!
ReplyDeleteI refuse to call them "FANS" when they are refuse to watch their show because Peter hasn't more than a few seconds of screen time. TEMPORARILY. It's also contra productive.
ReplyDelete:) We're still in the Top shows of the channel while being on friday, it's not as bad as it look, it's the whole CW that has dropped
ReplyDeleteDo we know what the live + 3 days are for Fringe 4.02?
ReplyDeleteI don't have those numbers to hand. Not sure they have been released yet. I'll have a look
ReplyDeleteThanks, I appreciate it.
