    I liked this ep much better than last weeks ep.  I was wonderful touching base on the rest of the ensemble.  Cannot decide if Anna is on the up and up...sure looks like it.  And Caroline Caroline Caroline... "I'm angrier"  Loved it!   And Damon Damoning.

    I would have voted Awesome but judging from next week's promo that episode is gonna be awesome.Anyway I thought it was great.TVD is getting better and better this season

    liked it very much. I'm glad they finally really addressed some of the damon/elena tension and that rick is now a part of the council. it's hard not to agree with him. neat how kathrine sweeped in in the last 5 minutes. Hope Damon will be back in mystic falls next episode though. looks like he's needed. i need him there

    Is Damon just going to keep snapping Ric's neck whenever he's miffed at him?

    "Damnit, Ric! That was the last of the Scotch!" Snap!
    "It was your turn to do the dishes! THIS ISN'T A HOTEL." Snap!
    "West Hampton Dunes is a municipality, not a damn city! Goddamnit, Alaric, you should know this! YOU'RE A TEACHER!" Snap!

    In all seriousness, when I read that they would "come to blows", I thought literal blows, not "Damon tweaks the hell out and snaps that bitch like a mother". While I'm glad snarky, badass Damon has returned, I was kind of hoping that the end result wouldn't be him and Ric fighting; I hope they can patch up their friendship. And soon. I'm missing it already.

    Anyway, I'm happy the Damon/Liz dynamic has remained intact. I'd like to see more of that, too. I was also loving the dynamic between Klaus, his sister and Stefan. I wished it would have lasted more than one episode (or two, if you count the flashback the week before).

    Until you're back together Damon/Alaric bromance, I shall miss thee.

    ok why was everybody attacking Damon he has been the one protecting Elena . Then Ric says "take a beat" sorry but he was drunk on the coach for ages while Damon was there for Elena . I really dont care what happens to ric anymore i liked him but now have went off him cause when he joined the council he spoke like he was in charge or something mmmm think rick is becoming a di..ck lol . FINALLY MORE ACTION and Elena had to say about Damon it cause of Caroline , ......thank you Caroline :). The fight with Caroline and Damon was funny lol but i get why she wanted to save him but Damon is right he deserved what he got and needed a lesson if ppl think bill is not going come back then how stupid and who will save Caroline..........................................................DAMON !!!!!!!!!!! . But like i say i get why she wanted to but dont give him no more chances after this cause Bill is different from Liz. Rebecca i hate that bit..ch honestly i hate the way she speaks and everything Klaus is getting more interesting by each episode just hope they dont do what they done last season with Elijah bulid it up and then tear it down by killing him way fast though hope he comes back.I actually like Kathrine better than Elena cause well she has fun,she smiles,she did play with both stefan and Damon's feeling's but at least told Damon she doesnt love him unlike Elena who is flirting with him at the kitchen table etc...
    Alric needs a big MASSIVE talking to cause he had  no right to say take a beat and now that Damon has because of that Elena has less help when she actually needs Damon right now.The twist at the end i was so not excepting great 9/10 i rate but hopefully it will stay like this instead of all the Twilight stuff :/

    But you have to understand Ric's point of view. He lost someone he loved and lost himself because of it for a time; sure, Ric's emotional peril wasn't expanded on that much when it really needed to be, but that's more the fault of the writers, not the character. Besides, there were plenty of times when Damon was a self-pitying drunk, as well. There's a reason behind it, even if it wasn't the right, responsible thing to do. Ric wasn't just drinking for the fun of it.

    Yeah, I understand that. It is annoying, especially since Damon was watching out for Elena when he really didn't have to. But there's a reason why most people don't trust him; Damon's awesome, but the guy's a dick at times and incredibly unstable (hell, it's part of what makes Damon...well, Damon). Ric knows what a lot of Elena's friends already know: Damon is volatile even at the best of times--and espicially now with circumstances as they are. Ric was only looking out for Elena, afraid, knowing Damon and how he behaves, that Damon would lead her to more problems. It was more of a fatherly, protective instinct. It's perhaps not in Alaric's place to do this, as even he said that Elena can take care of herself now, but you can't fault the character for caring (even if it is a touch misguided).

    Anyway, Damon's response was a complete overreaction to the situation. I mean, shit. He could have punched the guy, not snapped his neck like a twig. But, again, this is Damon. The fact that he was mixing a cocktail for the guy afterwards, expecting everything to be swell was actually pretty damned funny. Ric went to the council because he knows, through ample experience with Damon, that supernatural beings can be unstable (and you have to understand that he did this only after what happened with Damon–-Ric was angry that his trust in Damon had been rewarded with a broken neck) and he wanted to be a stable voice of reason. I think Ric's forgetting, however, that he knows too many supernatural people to truly be an unbiased human voice on the council. Oh well. These characters are interesting because they're flawed and can be, like all people, big-ass hypocrites.

    But really, Damon's a lot worse than Ric most of the time. To dislike Alaric because of his mistakes, while loving Damon in spite of his is a bit unfair, don't you think?

    Ah this season is really great ;) Loved to see that a little of old Damon is back! Caroline was brilliant ... I´m angrier!^^ Can`t wait for the next episode ;) It`s gettng interesting with Klaus back in Mystic Falls and Damon away... hope he`s back on time to save the day ;)

    Overreacting a bit? Calm down. I'm not trying to argue with you; I'm simply giving you my take on the Ric thing. Jesus. You're entitled to your opinion, yes, but you're on an interactive site. People will come along and reply to you if they so please. If you're not interested in discussing things with other fans, then I suggest you stay off these types of sites, yes?

    wooooooooooooow i am not overreacting i even put xx at the end of it . But i am still gonna remain with my opinion if elena want damon and damon wants elen go for it nobody stopped ric from seeing jenna even though Jeremy was his student .Damon yes got drunk etc... did horrid stuff but who was there for her when Ric was drunk on the coach ???????????????? yes din don ! damon . And no you  did not upset me but you have to understand this is my opinion i am not looking for an argument ether and yes your right this is a site where people will make comments , but i still stand by mines thats all i was trying to say god i think you are "Overreacting a bit?" I mean look at it this way damon was playing nice everything then alric Caroline etc.. alll were saying he's Damon he wont change but if Caroline can change from being a spolied little brat into this cool and lovely vam then Damon can . Oh and lets not forget who asked Damon for help finding Stefan elen , then who paid for it ? Andy a lovely person and Damon cared for her but he never went off the rails like last time with rose, cause he was needed .But Damon has took Alric advise and went away and sorry but they need damon more than anything right now . Oh yes and the whole killing Alric thing it was wrong but he pissed him off not saying again was right but he knew he had the ring on unlike last time with Elena's brother .But yes maby he should have punched him or something . All by the way i was bacially saying was we were not seeing eye to eye so lets agree to disagree .     Ok em i am just gonna say a few things frist Damon did use Andie as a sex toy but if you notice when in the very frist eposide of season 3 and he was in the bath he asked her to go and get something she said something like you have legs which means she was not  compelled plus he got angry and trashed his room after her death.  and then i am done because i did say an argument but i meant debate. I dont understand what your trying to say is it that i cant write right cause again if so that is qite cheeky and confussing cause you said "Your post was the one what caught my eye and that's probably because of the way you write". But yes i do make spelling mistakes because i have learning difficulties , so if thats what you mean yes you were being horrid and watch who you are talking to in future . But again i dont understand so please clear it for me. Also i do know what horrid is trust me my life is but al not bore you with it .Maby i did kindy get on a rant but so does everybody lol when it comes to a tv show that your into . But thank you for  saying you did not see my frist comment cause i think this has been blown out the water ! cause you did not see my frist comment was it ? and tbh you did kindy sound like on the fence .

    Yes, he clearly cared about her, to a degree. But nothing like Elena, or even Rose. Nevertheless, I hope what happened to Andie will, in the future, keep Damon from using women. Then maybe I can get back onboard with this character again.

    I have no way of knowing that you have learning disabilities, nor do I care. Plenty of people have them, yet they can type decently. Also, no, that's not what horrid means (it's not synonymous with "rude"). Me telling you that I have trouble understanding you isn't me being rude. It's the truth. I have trouble understanding you. Would you prefer I lie about that?

     - Caroline's dad is a real cold bastard.  He leaves town and the last thing he does is break his daughter's heart, even after she saved his life and kicked Damon's ass to do it (which was awesome).

     - I'm so glad that Katherine is getting involved in everyone's shenanigans again.  I've missed her meddling.

     - I love that Damon's way of "taking a beat" is self-destructing in front of Elena (purposely, I'd guess) and then skipping town.  That guy is as subtle as a freight train.

     - Bonnie is back and she's still dull.  The writers need to work on that.

     - More Sheriff Forbes / Damon scenes.  Those are the best.  Their amusing one-on-one scene was too brief.

     - Rebecca is a hypocrite.  She complains about Klaus being petty and vindictive and the first thing she does when she kisses Stefan and realizes he loves someone else is to completely turn on him and rat him out to her brother.  Screw her.

You have a problem cause you seem to like quote everything i say what's up with that ?????????? you did not have to say you dont care and insult me if you knew how fu..cking hard it is to have been in primary 3 to not know how to spell fliping because , but then again your mr ,or miss know it all .
