    I liked it for the most part.  I really enjoyed getting to hear the Sixers side although that was cut off far too early.  I was expecting some big reveal but nada.  I think they need to concentrate more on the mystery.  That being said though, I find Maddy's suitor to be sweet and earnest.  While normally not one for the teen drama angle, I like these two.  As long as they stay in limited doses that is.

    yea i agree i liked the family dynamic and the relationship with the kids to the people in the coony like maddy and the dude and josh and skye. I think thats terra nova's best specialty: adding the family dynamic to a great plot and interesting action. I like a little more of a explanation on not only sixers but also the whole future mystery. It turns out that mira is kind've like lia in a way shes working to get someone back. And it turns out who ever this big bad is is a powerful group of people in the future. Just that sentence together gives me the chills. Im loving terra nova and sad we have to wait 2 weeks   :(

    This was a big step back for me.

    Very hokey plot and I still cannot get past how terrible,overdone and overused the score music is. The overly dramatic music just makes me realize even more how undramatic a scene is despite their attempt to make it more dramatic.

    For example when the Sixers "threatened" base Terra Nova. That was just laughable!
    Their 2 ATV's send the music into overdrive and the fortified base with gun turrets into a panic. Not to mention all the Sixers stepping out from behind the 2 ATVs like clowns getting out of a tiny car at the circus. It was comical in a very bad way.

    I think I could past the bad dinosaur VFX if the plots were even half decent, but I'm thinking that will never happen at this point. Halfway through the season and we know more about who dated who back on Earth or who's dating whom at Terra Nova than we know about the reason for Terra Nova, the conspiracy behind it, the origin of the Sixers, the reason the Sixers exist or Taylor's crazy genius son.

    I hope it stays on for all the families with kids that enjoy it, but it really should have been on the Disney channel or ABC Family. My attempt to get into has thus ended... 

    Now if only I could go back in time and stop myself from watching 5 episodes.....

    I was doing all right.  Liking it.  Really liking the little girl.  And then....they pushed one of my buttons.

    I absolutely HATE it when a show asks a question they have no intention of answering.  

    "What's Terra Nova really about?"
    "You'll see."

    YOU'LL SEE?  Why toss the freaking story point out there if you're not going to freaking do anything with it.  I hate these kinds of wasted scenes.  There was nothing substantial to the scene between Shannon and Mira to move the arc story forward.  

    Argh!

    I started typing this reply to say I think Terra Nova is too soft for ABC Family, but then I started thinking about their original programming and I think Terra Nova is too male skewed.  But I do agree that it seems misplaced of FOX.

    So, Washington being badass was a nice draw.  Reynolds being goddamned boring was not.  The guy has absolutely no personality whatsoever besides "Has the hots for a main character".  Taylor was okay.  The Shannons were boring.  A C, tops.

    So far they wasted 17 million dollars.I really want to like this show,even thought there might be a spark left to ignite it......instead,we got puff. Almost ready to pack this in.

    Meh.  One dinosaur appearance?  A coerced child spy?  A go-nowhere mother / daughter subplot?  I had big hopes for this episode and it turned out so damn bland.  What a shame.

    Argh! The ep got dropped down to an "Ok" because of that.
