yes the sam/dean at the end was sad, but in the preview they don't even look like they have a problem. as much as i love the brotherly bond they have sometimes they forgive each other too easy.
I liked this episode as much as I thought I would. I like they found a powerful weakness to the leviathans (even though it was basically soap :P), I like how sam finally learned about Amy but in a way I didnt expect, I liked the complete loss of the Winchester's life before and everything they used, I liked Crowly reappearing in the end and it looks like he's going to be working for the leviathans (all though knowing crowly it's not going to last long lol), and lastly im ok with sam leaving dean because well i guess i would to if i knew my brother killed my friend lol. I always liked Dean's attitude better and his relationships with other characters but whe
when thinking about their character's and devleopment Im liking Sam more this season. Does anyone agree with what I said about this all? Does anyone think Crowley is going to turn around back to the winchesters after i bet he screws up and the leviathans try to hunt him down like lucifer? And by the looks of the promo i guess the seperation doesnt last long.
truthfully i dont really think sam and dean have ever really forgiven each other for the most terrible things like do u think dean did completely forgive sam for betraying him for ruby and the demon blood? Do u think Sam is ever going to completely forgive Dean for killing Amy? I think they do it because they are brothers, they love each other, and they need to stick together but otherwise theres a lot of stuff under the rug that i doubt they can trust each other 100% especially now for Sam
This was a fantastic episode!! Loved it so much. Perfect mix of humor and moving the story along. Scene at the end was perfectly done - can't wait for next week!!
Bobby got a kiss(es) and some love! Awesome episode :) Rooting for Kim (Jody) to survive. Not thrilled with the way it ended but they are together in previews for next episode so all "good".
Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving! Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving! About damn time! He deserves it :)
This ep was fantastic. I loved the evil Winchesters bitching about how much they hated being the Winchesters. That was very amusing, but Dean lip-synching in the car was laugh out loud funny. Even after he was caught, he couldn't help himself! :) Loved seeing Crowley, not surprised he tried to play the odds, Bringing muffins? Classic. :) Of course, now Crowley has to ally himself with the Winchesters, since the Leviathon seem to consider demons lower on the food chain than even the humans.
The Leviathon do have a weakness and it makes sense that it would be something that we wouldn't think twice about. Borax is not only used in detergents, it is a fire retardant and actually is used in nuclear reactors as a neutron absorber which helps shut down nuclear chain reactions. (See? I learned something from The Big Bang Theory!!) So if the Leviathon souls are like little nuclear reactors, Borax is a good bet to stop them from working. :)Sam reacted exactly how Dean thought he would -- which is why he didn't want to tell him in the first place. I still think Dean did the right thing by killing Amy. Sam will see that (obviously since they're together working a case in the next ep!) Sometimes their job is black and white. Monster that kills must be eliminated. And after all the lies Sam has told over the years, I think, considering his situation and frame of mind, he may want to give Dean the same forgiveness his brother always seems to find for him. Loved this ep. I haven't laughed like that for a long time. I'll never be able to hear Air Supply again and not break out in giggles. :)
I loved it. I giggled through most of it and just smiled. Loved it. I wasn't sure at the very beginning. I had a bad feeling it was going to spiral into a choppy episode. But then it started rocking. I loved Bobby's friend and from that point on I giggled and smiled.
"Nobody puts Baby in the corner." Classic Dean.
Sam cringing when his laptop got smashed... and the topper of them all.. the scene in the car. Dean signing Air Supply??? I loved the look Sam gave him. I was laughing out loud.
And you know what? I even liked the Leviathan they had as a prisoner. He was funny.
Then we get to Bobby and Sheriff Mills. Is there a chance Bobby might actually get himself a girlfriend? We can only hope. Finally they have a way to fight the Leviathan's, thanks to Sheriff Mills.
I loved the whole episode but the killer was the 'fake' Dean telling Sam about Amy. Oh boy, the shit is going to hit the fan now. I didn't like the ending. I mean come on Sera, we've been there and done that. Sam and Dean splitting up? Worked once but not after all they've been through. Yeah I know they are back together next week but still... I would have preferred they talk it out. Then again they are never that nice to us.
This made sitting through last week's dreck bearable. Would have given it an awesome except for the last five minutes. Really, Sera? That's the best you could do? You've got the gore and the big bad thing down but you're really dropping the ball on the emo stuff. Rehashing the Season 5 split up with the shoe on the other foot? Yawn! That was really disappointing, but at least from the previews it looks like it doesn't last long.
Way to go Bobby, for finally getting some! :D
Two best scenes of the whole night were Frank destroying Sam's laptop...the look on Sam's face, ouch! And of course the whole Air Supply thing. "Nobody puts baby in a corner!" You knew that had to surface some time! :D
And yeah, I had the same thought about Crowley...knowing how he'll do anything to save his own ass, you know he's going to show up and try to make a deal with the guys. This should be interesting.
But, PLEASE Sera, just get the guys back together and stop trying to add in those layers 'cause you're really spitting the bit on the emo stuff this year! :P
Omg, I totally love Bobby/Jodie. My sister and I have been wanting some lovin for Bobby since I started watching! Glad to have gotten back to the Leviathans, glad they refused Crowley's advances. I'm hoping he'll team up with the boys again; I love their begrudging partnership. Super glad to have gotten the Amy thing over with; I just never found it to be an interesting plot point.
Such awesome acting from Jensen, Jared, Jim and Mark! Everyone was amazing. The story told tonight was just on point and authentically Supernatural....Just wanna kick Sam's ass though. Love it and can't wait for more great eps! :)
I've only watched it once but so far there's NOTHING I didn't like about Slash Fiction. The one liners were great, the tension was great, the LeviaWinchesters were scary/funny, Bobby & Jodie were great.
I can even tolerate Baby being in the corner ( so long as it's not for too long.) And I know Sam's (rightfully) angry with Dean right now - the truth should've come from realDean not LeviaDean, but I'm not too worried. Right from the start S7 was going to be about the boys hunting together. They'll sort it out- they always do. And CROWLEY!!!! Did I miss Mark in the credits or did he leave himself out again? Must check.
Loved it!! It felt like we were back to more old school Supernatural, which i love. I'm also glad that Bobby finally has a love interest! yay Bobby/Jody! I'm LOVING this season so far!!
I was a little disappointed with the end, me personally I had hoped Sam would just deck Dean and get it over with. The walking away thing, just seemed like a bit of a let down.
I thought the way they ended it made sense. Dean still sees a lot of this as black and white, but Sam is gray. He's always been part freak/monster but for the first time is accepting that side of himself rather than running away or getting angry. If Dean can't accept shades of gray then he can't have a brother, so I see why Sam reacted the way he did. Amy was like Sam, and Dean's reaction was to kill her. And before someone responds that Amy killed people, Sam and Dean have both killed human hosts of demons without trying to save them - Sam when he was drinking blood and Dean when he was torturing and killing trapped demons with the knife rather than trying an exorcism (LiB). They both have a little bit of monster in them.
I'm stuck in the middle. I thought Sam should have walked for an episode, maybe two. But they are light years closer to solving the Leviathan problem which would warrant swallowing his pride and hanging in. I hope they aren't too chummy with each other for a bit. Conflict would make for good Leviahunting!
:P Me too!...in a way I was sad I saw the promo pics cause it would've been a surprise :( before the promo pics were like 4-5 pics in a hotel room or whatever, or the boys talking...now we had pic of the trial for episode 4, pics of Crowley in episode 6, the promos pics are giving more and more away :'(
:) I'm thinking the same about Crowley, that's what I said to my bro and my friend when we watched this scene. This will be a funny scene of Crowley asking for help for once xD
Seriously Dean doesn't even mention that Sam is a walking time bomb and shouldn't be left alone? Sometimes this show has massive gaping plotholes that makes it really hard to take seriously. The whole Sam and Dean being on the most wanted list storyline was ludicrous. Just because they are presumed dead doesn't mean people won't recognise them in the future, particularly law enforcement officers who they often seem to have a lot of contact with. I really enjoyed the guy from POTC he was a cool character but thumbs down for killing the legend that is Michael Hogan. I still somehow managed to enjoy the episode but that is Supernatural for you :)

But Dean reacted well. He didn't argue or try to get Sam to listen. Even tho Sam reacted exactly how he thought he would, Dean just said OK and I'm sorry. Now it's up to Sam.
I agree. I still think it explains why Dean lied. He believed Sam would leave him. Sam did . It's happened before. It explains a lot. Dean pulled away so fast and acted like it didn't matter, you knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to hid what he felt again. If Sam doesn't come back right way, we'll have worse drinking problems. Sam had a right to be angry but as he says he's totally healed and everything is good, the only way he could handle his anger was to make his brother realize that telling the truth would make his fears come true.
What I did love was the comedy in this episode. Dean singing Air Supply because he wasn't in the car that deserved the rock and roll was funny. How much he got into it was the scariest part of the the entire episode. Sam's sideways glances were hysterical. That scene was perfection in comedy. I enjoyed tremendously.
Dean wanted to steal the rims off the Leviathan Winchester's Impala was wonderful.
Bobby in the basement was so much fun. Bobby with the sheriff was wonderful. I enjoyed it so much. Bobby so seldom has the woman. She suits him.
You're right. Sam reacted exactly how Dean feared he would. Sometimes it sucks to know your brother so well. But Dean didn't argue or get mad or try to force him to stay. He let him go. I think that shows growth on Dean's part. Now Sam needs to catch up.
Dean has a lot of insecurities. Does anyone remember Season 5 in Heaven when Sam was in the happy time of having deserted Dean and living alone and having the golden retriever. The pain in Dean's voice when he said This was a happy time for you? You left on my watch and I had to deal with Dad. I can only imagine what John did to Dean. Dean has an issue with Sam leaving him. He said Season 1 that he didn't want to be alone. Dean was afraid to tell Sam the truth. He got exactly what he knew would happen. Sam walked.
I think Crowley is out for Crowley. I think the Leviathan leader surprised. Crowley is used to being important. Now he's not. There's the underlying threat of destruction. He may go to the Winchesters but it's only if he thinks they can help him. He won't help them much. He has this you scratch my back and I'll scratch back attitude. He always has.
I agree one hundred percent on the Sam Dean issue on lying. I also will n ever be able to hear Air Supply sing that song again. Jensen had that down so well. I loved the strange sideways glances Sam gave him before he finally freaked enough to turn off the radio. I swear that squeaky toy hanging from the rear view mirror squeaked as it went out the window. lol Poor Dean. After all Air Supply sang in the 70's. Why shouldn't he know the song?
I think when Dean knew he'd been outed he was to talk. He apologized at one point. The way he shied away and said okay and I'm sorry was classic Dean hurting and not wanting it to be seen. He almost jumped away from it. I hurt for him. That's why he was afraid to tell Sam. In Defending Your LIfe, Bobby had to remind Sam of Dean's guilt problems and Sam was watching an almost alcoholic Dean hiding them. Let's hope this hasn't caused even more drinking problems because Dean now believes even more that he can't talk to his brother without Sam leaving him. That's Dean's mentality.
From what I was told, Sera had the scene like a pair of lovers breaking up. Jensen and Jared read it and called her and said HELL NO. They redid the scene themselves. That's what has come out about the ending.
Dean would have handled Sam decking him a lot better then leaving him. Dean doesn't handle that. I approved highly of Jensen's way of having Dean kind shy back and say okay. I'm sorry and just move away. That's totally Dean. Jensen and Jared redid that scene. They didn't like what was written.
A beyond Awesome episode that worked on so many levels. Air supply karaoke, a mini stroll down memory lane of S1 cases, the Boss reveal, Crowley! the Leviaboys complaining about the shortcomings of the boys, SAm finally finding out about Dean's betrayal, and ole grizzly Bobby showing his hopeful creamy center! Great ep that I hope continues a a run of epicness.
When Dean found out, he felt guilty about it. More added to his guilt. Sam was not killing for food. Amy going after bad people so she save her son was one thing. Sam should never have believed here. She stood there and told him wasn't gong to do it again, but he had just stopped from going to kill an innocent, not a bad guy. Some guy who ran out of gas. Her son was out when Dean killed her. He wasn't sick any more. She lied to Sam and she tried to lie to Dean. Sam felt that he owed her because she saved him from her mother. By not killing her, the debt was paid. Dean was under no obligation to that debt. She was a killer and he knew like I knew that she would kill again. He should have Sam, but what Sam did tonight is exactly what Dean was afraid he'd do.
I beg to disagree. I didn't see any holes. Yes Sam is a walking time bomb, but in a way, so is Dean. Dean's actions when Sam walked were pure panicking Dean hiding the pain and shying away so he doesn't let emotions out. No chick flick moments. Sam has been claiming to be worried about him. You can tell me anything. He heard it from the wrong Dean and it angered him. Dean would have understand if Sam had decked him. But striking out in anger by saying what he said and leaving his brother who has so much guilt in him was wrong. Hit him if you must, Sam, but don't desert him. Especially in the middle of a war. When it's some thing agreed upon, yes, but not like this.
I agree with everything you said about the episode, except for the ending. I think Sam left because he felt too many emotions at once and didn't really know how to react. I do believe though that next episode won't be a time jump, I think Sam will think it over and talk it out with himself and probably with Dean as well. They seemed perfectly fine in the preview for next episode so I think Sam and Dean do work it out. Sam may still be a bit hurt, but that's a step. The brothers won't leave each other, they will always have each others backs, and that's what I want. The only thing I didn't like about the ending (but something I completely understood) was when Sam left, because we know that Dean, all the way from Season One, never wants to be left alone. He kept the secret because he probably didn't want Sam to get mad and leave.
In the end though, it doesn't seem like the situation will stay for long. I do think they'll work it out early in the episode, or perhaps as the episode goes on. They know they need to stick together, and after all they went through, I think they've learned their lesson for the most part.
That's exactly how I was feeling with Dean this episode. We know that all the way from Season One, he never wants to be alone. The ending was so sad, for Dean and for Sam. Hopefully they'll work it out completely next episode, I'm glad that Sam didn't leave Dean for a long period of time. Although, on Sam's side of the argument, his brother just killed his friend/first love and lied to him this whole time. I believe that Sam forgave Dean so easily was because he's first of all a very understanding guy, Dean has never abandoned him, he saw how bad Dean felt, and he knows his brother and he loves his brother. They've stuck together ever since Sam was born, excluding those 3 years and 4 months.
I had to vote great instead of awesome just for one reason: the ending, the guys apart again, that is so season 4 and season 5. They ahve done that walking out each other two times already, I'm not sure what they want to acomplish with a third one at this point, and it kinda makes me huff in annoyance.
Besides that, this episode was awesome. Bobby/Jody is canon, FUCK YEAH!! finally sone loving for the gruffman, and Jody keeps testing the fates by being alive, and in SPN, that makes her AWESOME (though, small thing, it was weird that Bibby didn't tested her, and it wasn't even mentioned) Finally some way to kill the Levy's (poor Sheriff and his daughter tough, suck for them :/) Crowley being called a goldigging whore and the Doppelchesters bitching about Sam and Dean, so much win!
I'd had liked that the Levy High Shot had been female if he's sticking around, female big bads thend to last so little and be rather underwhelming, Meg and Ruby are the only ones that kinda stick out, and they werent high players even :/. The Mom and Raphy where totally underused (how awesome would Raphy had being channeling more Jackie Brown??) I hope they introduce a powerfull female levy soon, because I love SPN, but it has always been underwhelming in the female villian category.
(Could they hire Morena Baccarin so she could basically resume being Anna? I'd cry tears of joy!)
I didn't see the episode but I'm so glad that the general consensus is very positive :-)
I feel that the way Supernatural is conceived leaves room for tons and tons of stories,
It's an open canvas and the writers could go in infinite directions, safeguarding at its center the boys' relationship..............so the moon's the limit!
nothing to do with this episode, but i am watching season 1 now because i was too scared to watch it when the show first started. what happened to sam's premonitions. how come he doesn't have them anymore?
Argh! Why do they do this to us? That d****d ending!!! Not again surely. It was so 'haven't we been here before'? BUT I am hoping that they have set it up so apparently repetitive just so they can show us next week how much they have grown and learnt from those earlier experiences. I want one of them to turn around and say 'No. We are not walking away from this. We are going to talk this out like grown ups'. If they do that I will forgive them. And the trailer for next week is promising on that score. BTW why do they give away the cliffhangar via the trailer? They did it with Mannequin 3 too.
The rest of the ep was just great. Enjoyable, great script with smart dialogue. Great shout out to Pulp Fiction. The Leviachesters were funny - particularly in the diner scene. LOVED Bodie (my name for the Jodie / Bobby ship - it was that or Minger!). Loved the way of hurting the Levaithan. Loved the shout outs to those earliest eps. Frank Devereaux was promising. Let's have him back.
Lots to enjoy - just PLEASE Sera - show us the boys have grown next week. This Sam vs Dean c**p is old hat. But worse - it is just no fun to watch. It was the great relationship between Dean and Sam that drew many/most fans into the show, and that is why lots of people are still here. But BOY do you stretch our patience. 1 decent brotherly scene for every 25 arguments? Come on! You have a great asset on your hands, and an audience desperate to lap it up, yet you tease and tease. It is wearing!
In general though s7 is SOOOOO much better than s6. I am loving it.
OMG, this was awesome. WOW. I freakin looved this episode
I guess the last scene is the "cheesy" fight J&J were talking about recently when they were supposed to say bromantic stuff like: "No, I cant talk t you right now. Dont touch me". Haha glad Jared and Jensen had a say in this...
Just finished rewatching and the part where Sam walked away was so reminiscent of Scarecrow. How long were the boys apart? Less than one episode. I can't see this lasting even that long. Yes I know they're together in the promo for next week, but I still would've said the same thing if I hadn't seen it.
It was good,it was really, really good! The best one since episode 2,by far.. The performances were brilliant.By now we've learned to expect as much from Jared,Jensen,Jim and Mark, but I was blown away by the rest.Kevin McNally was awesome and I definitely want to see him again, especially in a scene with Bobby. The guy that played the boss wasn't in it much, but he had the right attitude. And to be clear,I think he's just a bigger player, not the boss.I'm standing by the theory that the Big Boss will be wearing Cas' meat suit. But my favorite guy tonight was the Leviathan that Bobby had captured.I absolutely loved him!Sad to see him go.. And I squealed when I saw Michael Hogan.God,I miss Battlestar Gallactica.. : (
Mixed feelings about Bobby/Jodi.I'm definitely happy for now,but let's face it.She's a woman..on Supernatural. Her days are numbered and it'll be really tough for Bobby.
I wasn't expecting them to find a way to kill the Leviathans so soon(although,if I understood correctly,if the body and the head are reattached they'll heal). It's funny though, and a little weird, cause so far we had the Colt, powerful swords, phoenix ashes and all they need for the Leviathans..is a chemical. It's a welcome change I think.
And FINALLY,the secret is out..Let's not talk about Amy again in the near future.Sam's reaction was expected and it didn't really bother me,cause it's not like their separation in season 5.Sam is pissed and hurt right now and he didn't want to be near Dean for a while.Understandable..Honestly,I'm surprised that this doesn't happen more often. We already know that they're together in the next episode.
Interesting fact:Apparently Cas knew ALL of their aliases. Can't really say I'm surprised.. ; )
Did anyone else think it would've been awesome if there had been a rubber duck hanging in that car instead of a 'my little pony'? First thing I thought of when I saw it :D
You know, if the Leviathans are as indestructible as they claim to be, I have to wonder why they fear Sam and Dean in particular so much? It's been KILL THE WINCHESTERS basically from the get-go. I mean, I get that past examples prove that if anyone can find a way to kill the Leviathans it's the Winchesters and their gang, but the Leviathans made it basically their mission to destroy Sam and Dean specifically, not hunters in general ... Makes you wonder.
I LOVED it! Finally feeling SPN is back;) I mean: Bobby researching and romance in the air, Dean beating altSam & altDean, truth finally revealed and AWESOME scene - Dean singing;)
The only thing I didn't like was the ending. I get that Sam can be angry, but walking away like that? Seriously?
awesome perfect 10 best episode so far the ending much better dean has to learn a lesson lies always surface sam reaction ok need space to think he forgive dean becase they still talking in the next episode and crowley know he and there minions are in danger (mortal).
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME! Best episode since Hello, Cruel World without a doubt. I'm actually having trouble thinking of a single thing I didn't like, so I'm just going to list a few of the things I did like:
-LeviaBoys: Damn, they were hilarious. Plus, it was interesting to see their insights into Sam and Dean, given that they had a pretty unique perspective. It seems as though Sam hasn't exactly been letting on just how much hell is slipping through the cracks. Plus, Dean, burgers are better than sex? Really? Would never have pegged you for that. Now pie, that I could see.
-Bobby and Sheriff Mills: Aw, how cute were they? I was convinced she was a Leviathan when she first showed up at his door, but I'm so happy it was just her. I love Jodi and I hope we see more of her in the future (which apparently, according to her Twitter, we will! *happy dance*). I also liked how they discovered what hurts the Leviathans, it felt very true: after all, most 'great' discoveries are just accidents. What makes them great is when the person who witnesses the accident knows what to do with them. Enter Bobby!
-Kevin McNally: I hope we get a few cameos from Frank in times to come, because he was fun, what with his alien/government/you-name-it conspiracy theories.
-Crowley!! I know he wasn't in it for very long, but basically, seeing Mark Sheppard in anything makes me happy, because he's so unbelievably awesome. I'm also hoping that the Leviathan's unequivocal putdown of Crowley's overtures will drive him back to collaborating with the boys, because I do love to see them snark at each other.
-Humour: What with the world going so dark and gloomy at the moment, it was fun to see Sam cringing and barely able to look at Dean when Frank told them to ditch the Impala (where did they even leave her?), and I enjoyed the 'Dirty Dancing' reference (even if I hated the film).
-Finally, *finally* Sam finds out that Dean killed Amy. I know it was only 3 episodes ago, but even so it felt a bit dragged out. I'm minorly disappointed that Dean didn't man up and tell Sam himself, but I'm not really surprised. I am a bit surprised that he let Sam walk away, given that they have a Leviathan BOLO out on them and Sam's still dealing with Hell, but judging by the promo for the next ep, they don't stay apart for long.
I'm still trying to think about anything that disappointed me in this episode, and I've really come up with nothing! There's the ever-present complaint about the lack of classic rock, but other than that, this episode was pretty damn good. The writer's should clearly stick with the Leviathan storylines, they've definitely been the best episodes this season. If I think of anything later, I'll come back and do an edit, but for now: great episode, roll on next week!
Finally! The episode was pretty good, quite entertaining, and much better than the previous 3 episodes. Good job Supernatural, finally getting back on track, let's just hope it keeps going.
When I first heard about Slash Fiction being the 6th episode I thought it was going to be something similar to a lot of Supernatural fanfiction writers are writing. Add that with a picture of the two brothers in a bed, so when heard about it being the brothers cloned, that maybe the cloned ones would be in that picture.
I'm not saddened that they didn't go that way, I still totally loved this episode. Also very glad Dean's newest secret about Amy is finally out in the open, imo it was [being kept] too long a secret.
I'm all outta love, I'm so lost without you... LOL! One of the funniest scenes EVER! Oh man. These boys do comedy so well.
Oh, the eppy itself? AWESOME! Even the Sam and Dean drama at the end...classic Sam in his reaction. He deals with things by getting away from them for while, so it was a natural Sam reaction at feeling betrayed by this brother.
The Bobby storyline? So good, all around. Love Sheriff Mills.
Ranking this one just behind Hello, Cruel World as my favorite for S7 so far.
I thought the "guy who had run out of gas" was a drunk driver who couldn't even hold onto his keys? Have to watch this again, but that was my impression.
I'm not trying to argue this killing monsters thing again, but my point is that Dean's actions were personal to Sam. Sam needs Dean to accept that monsters can be good, because Sam sees himself as part monster, if they're going up have any kind of relationship. Dean betrayed Sam. There's no way around that. I think he did it because of grief and was sorry after it happened, but Sam needs time now to deal with the shock.
It took Dean part of season 4 and most of season 5 before Dean really started to forgive Sam, so give Sam at least one episode to process the fact that his brother betrayed him.
loved it. the shifter sam and dean were awesome, like when they were saying how much they hated sam and dean. the cloning made the episode so intense. the scene in the police station kind reminded me of jus in belo. i liked all the flashbacks to season 1 episodes. dean's face when he had to give up his baby was priceless. and that scene with him singing in the car was hilarious i loved every scene with boby and the leviathan guy. he was really cool. i knew that they were gonna find an everday cure to killing those evil douche bags but i think household detergent is making this waaaaay to easy. interesting to see crowley at the end of this, i hope something there gets taken further although i do like how that leviathan shut him down completely and took his muffins. and best of all, we FINALLY got a step forward in the never ending 'dean killed amy' drama. hopefully it gets fixed very soon because i am so sick of this hanging over our heads. i don't want to see her in any more "then"'s. on the "then", did anyone think it was done differently this episode but much more awesome?
One nitpick here - when Sam and Dean wanted to go after the Leviathan, and Bobby wanted them to lay low until they knew how to kill them, it reminded me of season 4 when Sam was fueled on demon blood and wanted to go charging after several demons at a time while Dean made a comment about the smarter brother being back. It seemed out of character for Dean to charge in head first without a plan.
This is one of my problems with Bobby coming along on hunts. He ends up taking the role of one of the brothers. Usually its taking over the research for Sam. This time it was being the voice of reason and forcing Dean out of character.
Respectfully have to disagree. Dean can't talk to his brother without Sam leaving? No Dean is feeling guilty because he lied. Not once but twice. He told Sam he trusted him when he didn't then he lied about Amy. If he had of been upfront from the beginning Sam would have been angry but no it has snowballed.
I'm sure Sam will calm down and realize he needs his brother so I'm not too worried. I just wish Sera would lose this whole 'the world is on my shoulders' Dean and give us back the real Dean.
I agree. Looks like they work it out pretty quickly. Sam is more hurt than angry. His brother who is all about truth and trust betrayed him. And when Sam needs him the most. Still I'm hopefully they work it out next week and MOVE ON.
why i am agree about his reaction give him (dean) a hug (uh) please, smack or punch his face walk ok you think i will sit inside a car with a person who lied about kill a person that i give a second chance (sam) about a monster they are brothers dean have to respect sam .
Or perhaps Sam actually left to take some time to himself to cool down and be able to discuss this with Dean in a rational manner instead of right then there and then both brothers end up blowing up at each other and saying things or doing things that they'll regret. Sam walking away to cool down was the right thing to do. If he had stayed, it only would've made the situation worse. Sam has no catching up to do. Sam's done nothing but try and bend over backward for Dean since the trial and be there for him and help him, and Dean just keeps lying to him. Dean brought this on all on his own. Sam isn't to blame here.
Couldn't agree more with this. I mean god forbid Sam gets hurt and betrayed and it takes him more than episode to forgive Dean. I mean didn't know? It's perfectly okay for Dean to take half of S4 and most of S5 to finally forgive Sam, but if Sam is betrayed, he'd better forgive Dean by the next episode or he's a BAD BAD brother!
It wasn't Sera. It was the writer of the episode. They called Sera and expressed their discomfort with how the dialogue was written. Jensen talked about this at the con last weekend. I know. I was there.
Oh that's right. Because Sam is hurt by the fact that his brother betrayed him and needs some time to himself to cool off and calm down, he deserves to have his ass kicked. Yep. Totally makes sense. *rolls eyes*
Now the guys need to visit Will at Red Jacket to see if he can manufacture a double-barrell Gatling Gun that can be pulled behind an Impala. Dean driving, Sam on the trunk turning the crank while wearing pilot's goggles and a scarf.
I loved every second of it! Another truly awesome episode from one of the best seasons ever! Poor Sam, I knew a bomb would be dropped at the end of the episode in some way, but I did not think that Sam would find out from bad Dean the truth about what really happened to Amy. I thought maybe Lucifer would make an appearance this time, but I guess he will be showing up sooner or later again. Bobby kissed the pretty Sherriff! I love Bobby! Finally, a solution to the Leviathan problem. We should all have some of that Borax on hand, just in case! I guess Sam and Dean make up rather quickly for next week's episode, so maybe things will be semi back to normal for them. I hope so anyway. Their bond is strong now, but Dean really should have told Sam the truth right after Osiris grilled him. He had the opportunity last week when Sam asked him what was going on, but I guess he was not ready to reveal it just yet. IT makes me wonder if he ever was going to tell him. He could not have known that bad Dean would tell Sam the truth. I love the boys and am so happy that this season is going so well. Cannot wait for Friday to get here already to see them again!
I am in love with this episode. It was funny, intense, and i totally got emotional at the end when they split up. Obviously theyre getting back together somehow next week, so I'm interested to see how/why that happens. But this week was epic.
I am very glad that Dean let Sam walk away, even if he(Sam) is a walking time bomb. Hopefully Sam will be smart enough to recognize the danger in walking away on his own.
Loving as in he has an actual love interest that isn't a ZOMBIE ;) Loving in that they actually paid attention to his needs. Guess loving has many meanings.
I wonder if they will pick up right where they left off next time? The brothers have a conversation and get tings "worked out" before the case of the week?
Well I realized it was probably the writer and not Sera herself, but she's the showrunner now so she's got the bottom liine and she should know better by now about what works and what doesn't.
That being said, I think you misunderstood me...I didn't want a big, drawn out lover's quarrel, I was just hoping the guys could stand up and approach this as brothers. I understand Sam being pissed and hurt...he has a perfect right to be both, but if it had been me in his shoes I'd have wanted to haul off and clock Dean one, not just walk away on him. Having it play out the way it did just seemed too easy and too full of holes, like the writers didn't know where to go, and I felt we as viewers and the brothers themselves deserve better. In the past, we've had these confrontations between the brothers and ultimately they've finally expressed themselves and worked out their differences. Then, as of Season 4 it became the automatic reaction if one of them was pissed was to walk off and have the brothers separated and then eventually bring them back together...but do they really trust each other? It's just all getting really old by now and considering the rest of the crap they have to deal with, with the whole Leviathan situation and Sam's hallucinations, they really don't have time for it.
I had just hoped the writers, Sera, someone would have found a better way of going about it, that's all.
Excactly, but then why DIDN'T he? I would have wanted to haul off and smack Dean personally. Dean let the Levia-Dean break it to Sam instead of telling him himself, I think that hurt Sam more than anything. And Sam needs to get past hurt and just BE PISSED...he has a right to be and frankly, Dean needs a good smack upside the head right about now to wake him up and make him realize what an ass he's been! And being Dean, I think he'd probably react better to that than anything else, but that's just me.
The way that whole scene was played out just felt like a let down to me.
The ep from start to finish was excellent, glad the Amy killing is finally out in the open and from the previews looks like they have worked it out. At least they are working together, so maybe worked out. lol Finally a way to kill the Levi, just something else to add to their arsenal. Baby is in a corner, that is very sad, now we need to get the Impala and Misha back.
THANK YOU!!! Couldn't agree more. We have so been there, done that with this stuff. Stop screwing around with us and get back to the formula that has been proven to work. We get that the life these guys lead is not easy and they are human and won't always react the way they should, ok...point made, MOVE ON. We don't WANT conflict between the brothers, dammit...enough already! We want them together fighthing the big bads, a la Season One...is it really asking too much to get back to that?
In addition to the aliases and such the Leviathan learned from Castiel, they also had to glean the knowledge of all the battles, defeating 3 out of the 4 horsemen, putting both Michael and Lucifer in the cage and having a working relationship with Death. I think that moved them to the top of the list.
I thought the way it played out was realistic. With the exception of season 4 when Sam was on demon blood, it's never been in character for Sam to hit Dean, even when Dean hits him first. Dean practically raised Sam, so Sam hitting Dean would be like hitting your parent.
Sam had just found out and was in shock. I'm sure Sam will confront him next episode, after Sam has had time to process what happened.
He was there, in fact when I saw his name I went back to see if hopefully, Misha was also listed. Dang I want my favorite Angel back, or just Misha in any form.
The ending was perfect for me and what I expected. Love J2, they have their characters down to a science. In fact I said this from season 1, ep 1, there was none of the learning the characters for them, it was like they had been doing it for years. Not many actors can do that..Love this show.
Yes, but even the most gentle, friendly dog will eventually bite if you kick him enough. I think it's kind of unrealistic for Sam to continue to be the "nice" one and never push back. He has a right to get angry and considering everything he's been through it's not so crazy to think he might finally have reached his breaking point. Doesn't mean he doesn't still love his brother, that's the one thing that's never in doubt - the guys bond has always remained intact - but it's perfectly normal for him to react in anger and lash out. It's the human reaction. Dean's done it - back in Season 2 and again at the end of Season 4 - so why is it not ok for Sam to have that same kind of response?
I would just have preferred to see them stay together and work it out one way or another rather than just have one or the other of them walk away...that's the easy out for the writers and it's been done ad nauseum. Please, can't we move on from that?
From what Misha said, he's not on any of the upcoming episodes. If we see him again this season, it won't be until the end. And Sera said in a recent interview on AOL that they don't have plans to bring back Cas at this time, even though they're currently planning the second half of the season.
I think Sam will get angry, just not physical, with Dean. I don't like seeing them hit each other, but I too wouldn't blame Sam if he hit Dean. It's just not really his character.
This makes me very sad. ;(( It is not often that a show adds a character that I really fall for, can't stand Jess in Burn Notice, but dang I loved all of Misha's character and laughed so hard with Misha playing Misha, that has got to be one of the best eps ever.
Thank God, we are back on track and hopefully the writers won't give us another bad epsiode until at least after the fall finale. Best moment besides the Air Supply sing along was when Dean said, "Nobody puts baby in a corner." And then Sam says, "You know that's from Dirty Dancing." But because Dean is a guy's guy he already knows that Swayze always gets a pass, even if it's a cheesey, kind of girly movie.
I think household cleaning supplies is a kind of nod to H. G. Well's "War of the Worlds" where the common flu kills the invaders. They are all powerful but they are old. And man kind is king of killing things, the planet, animals, each other so yeah, it maybe easy but I kind of get it.
it's not like they're that much afraid. I mean we saw at least thousand of them getting free and how many are after the boys? They send one....plus the 2 who took the boy shape...maybe add the fake FBI one, 4 Leviathans out of hundred? If they were so terrified they would all be after them or send at least a lot more (like the 30+ demons at the same time in Jus in bello when demons were after them)
I'm thinking they just know the boys are good and competant and don't want to take any risk, but they don,t feel very in danger, the rest of the Leviathans must be doing something bigger
I'm holding off on my vote. :-) The set up slowed me down a little...but then the ep got rolling and I really enjoyed it. Loved the security expert. Loved the fact that the Leviathan were revisiting the Winchester's greatest hits. I have long said....if you find yourself living in a horror movie and bullets don't kill the monster...second thing to try is cutting off its head. Excellent follow up move. The odds are in your favor. At the very least you buy your self a couple mintes to run. :-) It is really difficult to have an argument with family when you don't even have a separate bedroom to go to. I'm really glad they took care of the Laviachesters by the end of the ep. Like the new leader dude but the revolving actors is leaving me a little confused. There appears to be a leader but I can't settle on who it is...was the explosives guy number two...IIRC he referred to some above him when he was giving orders a couple years back. Gotta love Crowley. He knows how NOT to overstay his welcome. Oh, and we did find out that there is a golden arrow out there; something that will absolutely destroy something.
OH DEAR GOSH!!! Thank you for reminding me about the Air Supply. I managed (only barely) to keep my lips still. But I have to agree with Sam. Dean singing along to "I'm all out of love." was a little scary.
You came away from the scene with Crowley thinking he was working with the Chief Leviathan (I can't remember anyone's name this morning)? I got the impression that Crowley got sent away empty handed and a veiled death threat. I definitely think Crowley's going back to the boys with an offer to join up and work together against the common enemy. Can Crowley *find* the boys with the script Cas burned into their skeletons?
I do like Sam better this season (though sadly I only liked his hair for one ep...and I did love LeviaDean's deciding to stick with Dean because he has the better hair.) I think it's because he's let it go...he's dealing with one comes one day at a time but he's not terminally angsty.
Since I have loved all his characters, Castiel, Jimmy, hippie Cas, God, Misha as Misha, and the vessel of the Levi, I don't care what he comes back as. lol
When the Levia Cheese guy asked if Bobby wanted to try the acid again I was thinking 'try base!' (science major) and it was sodium borate which makes a basic solution :P. Great episode, could not stop laughing when Dean was singing. Promo looks like the boys are back, I think they will both end up in the same town as they as looking for jobs then have to work together. I think they need some time apart to think about things and regain their focus.
For me, my interest is probably a 50/50 split between Misha and Cas. I got caught up in the angel's story last year, and it feels like it ended abruptly. I wanted to see him face the aftermath of what he'd done. The fact that nothing this season has me really excited yet isn't helping. The Leviathan story is decent TV but it's not addictive TV.
Well truthfully I don't really want to see him hitting Dean either, I would just have preferred he stayed and they worked through it somehow rather than just walking off. It's just that we've been there so many times before, I'd like to think the characters had grown a LITTLE since then and can work out their differences, even the major ones. But since they're together next week, it seems like somehow they do! :)
awww I love awkward, love-struck Bobby :) I'm also kind of glad to see Crowley back - he's a smarmy little bugger, but he keeps things interesting! now if only they could bring Cas back...
SO glad to see the Amy thing is finally out in the open.. I wonder how long the breakup is going to last! I have a feeling Sam isn't going to let this one go anytime soon, and I don't think that Dean really sees anything wrong with what he did, aside from lying to his brother.. I think we're in for a whole lotta angst!
I just noticed that LeviaDean didn't swear it the episode like in the promo! The episode must have just been that awesome because I didn't even notice the loss of bad ass awesomeness of that word being said.
Not beg just mention it. If your brother was putting himself in crazy danger you wouldn't even say something about it and just let him go? He's basically a mental patient when you get down to it who could do harm to himself and other people.
I would think it would have no effect on the gunpowder in the shell as it is in a separate part of the round. Now if some got into the gunpowder as they were packing it, that could be a problem. You'd have to have Dean packing powder at one table and Sam at a different table loading Borate.
Another place for Drinky Dean to mess something up.
It really pissed me of that people think dean did the right thing by killing amy what do you guys have no souls or what and right with her son steping in you got to be kidding me and not telling sam wow dean you have not heart. So I was so happy about the ending that sam found out if it was me I would have kicked deans ass and then left but sam did it the way sam allways does it. I would have that sam just snaped and turned into soulless sam for a little bit that be cool but that did not happen. I do hope they work it out in the end and in the next ep they do thats fast. And the bobby thing was great but then he had to kiss her and then I was like shes dead no no femails live on that show its all about the guys.
As he should have. Dean has been lying to his face for weeks and when he constantly is preaching to Sam to not lie to him. I would have had to walk away and cool down too.
LOL I noticed that right off, but I think it was because of the Pulp Fiction reference with Pumpkin and Honey Bunny. "IF ANYBODY F*CKIN MOVES, I'LL EXECUTE EVERY LAST MOTHERF*CKIN" ONE OF YOU!" but Levia!Dean's was "IF ANYBODY MOVES, I'LL EXECUTE EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!" Or something like that anyway! LOL
Oh, you've got a point, but the Winchesters must start swearing! Like Jared said, the Winchesters need to swear instead of saying ,"That was darn cool!" LOL
Oh I hear you! Believe me! LOL! I think they need to swear more too, but this is the CW. It's like they said when I was at the convention last weekend, if the show was on a network like HBO, it'd be AWESOME because they get to swear more. Jensen said it actually "pains" him to say "friggin" LOL! Crazy boys!
You're so lucky! I wish I could go to a Supernatural convention at least once in my life before the series ends, but I can't because they never come to Windsor, since it's far away from anything worth anything... :(
Nah, the toy Dean cut off from the rear view mirror, I think it was a unicorn, didn't went out the window. When Dean opens the trunk and asks Sam what to do with the Leviathan heads the toy is seen lying beside the bag holding the heads.
Most likely back then they didn't even have a weakness which is why God sealed them in Pandämonium. At least that is what I think. Awesome Episode on all accounts btw
You know, I imagine that they'll probably end up doing conventions well after the show has ended. Lots of shows do. ;) So I wouldn't worry too much! Whereabouts is Windsor if you don't mind me asking?
I sort of agree Deangirl, but I am reserving judgement for now. We know from next weeks trailer that they do sort this out, so although I share your discomfort with how this ep ended, that scene wasn't over when the ep ended. I am hopeful that this was a tease from the writers to say 'oh you thought this was going to be like all those other times? No. These boys have grown up now'. And we will see one or both of them stop and force an adult conversation and a mature resolution. Ideally before they even leave that pier.
If that doesn't happen I will be majorly disappointed. But for now we don't know. Their reaction was OK as a knee jerk first response. But I am hopeful they have moved beyond that. They are not kids any more.
It was awesome! Bobby kissed Sheriff Mills. Dean sang! Evil!boys! (Very hot. X3) I just loved everything about it. Although the ending... They separated again. DEAN. LYING TO SAM. SAM. NOT GIVING DEAN A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN. TALK TO EACH OTHER FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
Still loved it though. Crowley! Was great to see him again. And I just realized Dean's hair makes him look younger. Reminds me of Season One Dean.
Windsor is in Ontario, very close to Detroit. Compared to every other place in Canada, Windsor is a pretty small place. Unfortunately it's pretty far away from many other major places, where Cons are usually held.
Oh honey! That's only a little over 5 hours from Chicago which is where one of the cons I went to is held every year! You shouldn't let a bit of a driving distance put you off for a three day weekend worth of fun, because every single mile you drive to get there is totally worth it! Believe me! You should try and go sometime!
Ya, but the problem is I can't drive, I'm still a teen going through high school. Plus my parents don't even know what a Con is as they didn't grow up with stuff like that, so they don't know the importance or want of a Con to a big fan. Another big problem is the economy, it's so down, and Cons cost so much.
At least some very kind people record their experiences onto the internet. Watching the videos make me feel like I'm there anyways :)
Good point, and I certainly hope you're right! Just seems the writers have been dropping the ball big time when it comes to the emo stuff since last season. But I'll be more than happy to be proven wrong. :D
He was so drunk that getting behind the wheel was like pointing a loaded weapon at a school bus. He wasn't just some "innocent" guy. He had to hold on to the car so that he could grope around for his keys. I have no tolerance for drunk drivers. If you are not totally clear headed, call a cab!!!
Dean is the shoot first, ask questions later brother... I don't know what you mean about putting him out of character. He is quite capable of planning if he feels the need, but he often doesn't. Dean seldom wants to research and is perfectly willing to leave that up to Sam until it gets more physical (like the electric buzzer vs ham in I Believe the Children are our Future) but Bobby has helped out with that also. For example, Bobby did the Colt trials in Season 3.
Ok, I loved it!! BUT WHERE is Castiel?!? :( It's so depressing but I was glad to see Crowley again. Love Mark Sheppard. Everything seems to be falling apart without Cas!
What I meant is that going to confront the Leviathan knowing the Leviathan wanted to kill them and that no weapons seemed to work again them was more than dangerous, it was suicidal, and that was out of character for both of them. Sam was sometimes a little like that in season 1 when he was after YED and after Dean died in season 4 flashbacks, and Dean was suicidal in his action in season 3, but this was different. It was just dumb.
I agree and think it is amazing that the Best Character of 2011 is not in the series. It is very unusual for me to really like an added character, but Misha just added an extra spark to the show. Not taking anything away from the J2, they are awesome, but Misha just added a place for extra humor(Pizza Man, loved that ep). Agree about Mark, he is always fun to find on any series.
Back to added characters, I think Jesse just ruined the chemistry on Burn Notice, they need to get back to Michael, Sam & Fiona.
Brilliant , awesome, don`t know what to say ;) The fake Winchesters played their role well, especially Fake-Dean ;P The end was sad, and I really hope, Sam will forgive Dean fast ;/ And yeah for Sheriff Jody ;P
Yep saw the promo too, not worried at all. They're back together by next week. And really, for all the people who claim to want back the old formula from season 1. The brother butted head from S1E1. Sometimes they work together, sometimes they fight. That's how family works - at least mine does and obviously the Winchester's. I wasn't overjoyed by this whole Amy desaster. Should Dean have killed her? Yes, no, I don't care. Should he have lied. Nope. Was it bound to blow in his face? Of course, we're talking Winchesters here, it always backfires. Sam has the same right to be angry when betrayed as Dean. Dean punshes, Sam walks, that's how they handle their feelings of hurt and anger. It's so deep embedded in them that they won't change it. It their character trait - at least there the continuity fairy did her job well.
Brilliant episode!! Great balance of tension and humour. Loved the Leviathans bitching about the Winchesters, the Swayze/Dirty Dancing shout out and Bobby getting some affection (hope the Sheriff doesn't die). Best part was Dean miming along to Air Supply - hilarious!!
loved this episode because we got more into bobby's past and i am like mmmm what did he do ? . Also loved Dean and Sam playing the monsters they were funny . Dean at being a bad guy suites him very well but i have always said that . Also loved jody and bobby wee kiss sence and how he fixed his hair before she came in , also him acting all hard when she can see past it . Cowerly making the deal was qite scary i mean the boss is even i was like dont go there cowerly !!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am glad the Amy thing is out but it would have been better if the actual Dean told him ,himself .The only thing i can say is Dean knew he did a MASSIVE BAD THING and he knew Sam would leave but he let him and Sam even got a sorry though he desvers an explation and here's deans he was brought up like that sam leaft he got to go out more etc....while dean was at home training to kill monsters in general . Dean should have not done it or lied about it but we forget that ,that is dean at the end of the day he does rash things. Not to metion what sam done was 100 times worse choosing a demon over dean when dean loved sam so much it broke all trust oh and opening the hell gate ! mmm. Lets just say we all do rash ,stupid, bad, things i have so the only thing we can hope for is forgiveness .
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I literally loved everything about this episode, even the depressing break up scene at the end that made me want to cry.
ReplyDeleteAnd alskfdjas;lkdfjasl;kdfjasd;klfjasf at Bobby/Jody! HE KISSED HER. ALKSDJFAL;KSDFJ
How many of you sang along to Air Supply? Be Honest!!
ReplyDeleteyes the sam/dean at the end was sad, but in the preview they don't even look like they have a problem. as much as i love the brotherly bond they have sometimes they forgive each other too easy.
ReplyDeleteI went in with low expectations, but loved it. Voted awesome for the first time this season.
ReplyDeleteI gotta think there's still a lack of trust and it will rear its ugly head at a most inopportune time.
ReplyDeleteThis episode was so awesome!!! I loved it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode as much as I thought I would.
ReplyDeletewhen thinking about their character's and devleopment Im liking Sam more this season. Does anyone agree with what I said about this all? Does anyone think Crowley is going to turn around back to the winchesters after i bet he screws up and the leviathans try to hunt him down like lucifer? And by the looks of the promo i guess the seperation doesnt last long.
ReplyDeletetruthfully i dont really think sam and dean have ever really forgiven each other for the most terrible things like do u think dean did completely forgive sam for betraying him for ruby and the demon blood? Do u think Sam is ever going to completely forgive Dean for killing Amy? I think they do it because they are brothers, they love each other, and they need to stick together but otherwise theres a lot of stuff under the rug that i doubt they can trust each other 100% especially now for Sam
ReplyDeleteOMG! Crowley! *-*
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Supernatural! Love it! My favorite scene was Dean singing Air Supply!
ReplyDeleteGo Bobby!!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fantastic episode!! Loved it so much. Perfect mix of humor and moving the story along. Scene at the end was perfectly done - can't wait for next week!!
ReplyDeleteCrowley got posterized.
ReplyDeleteBobby got a kiss(es) and some love! Awesome episode :) Rooting for Kim (Jody) to survive. Not thrilled with the way it ended but they are together in previews for next episode so all "good".
ReplyDeleteBobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving! Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving, Bobby got some loving! About damn time! He deserves it :)
Frank Deveraux rocked!!
ReplyDeleteBut he likes Joni Mitchell!
ReplyDeleteThis ep was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThe Leviathon do have a weakness and it makes sense that it would be something that we wouldn't think twice about.
Loved it. I wasn't sure at the very
ReplyDeletebeginning. I had a bad feeling it was going to spiral into a choppy
episode. But then it started rocking. I loved Bobby's friend and from
that point on I giggled and smiled.
"Nobody puts Baby in the corner." Classic Dean.
Sam cringing when his laptop got smashed... and the topper of them
all.. the scene in the car. Dean signing Air Supply??? I loved the look
Sam gave him. I was laughing out loud.
And you know what? I even liked the Leviathan they had as a prisoner. He was funny.
Then we get to Bobby and Sheriff Mills. Is there a chance Bobby
might actually get himself a girlfriend? We can only hope. Finally they
have a way to fight the Leviathan's, thanks to Sheriff Mills.
I loved the whole episode but the killer was the 'fake' Dean telling
Sam about Amy. Oh boy, the shit is going to hit the fan now. I didn't
like the ending. I mean come on Sera, we've been there and done that.
Sam and Dean splitting up? Worked once but not after all they've been
through. Yeah I know they are back together next week but still... I
would have preferred they talk it out. Then again they are never that
nice to us.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Bobby, for finally getting some!
I have to be honest: I had considered Little River Band as soon as the song came on. And that's coming from an ex-DJ from the 70's.
ReplyDeleteI ship Bobby/Jody <3
ReplyDeleteOmg, I totally love Bobby/Jodie.
ReplyDeleteAre they still doing that episode fan rating graph?
ReplyDeleteSuch awesome acting from Jensen, Jared, Jim and Mark! Everyone was amazing. The story told tonight was just on point and authentically Supernatural....Just wanna kick Sam's ass though. Love it and can't wait for more great eps! :)
ReplyDeleteI've only watched it once but so far there's NOTHING I didn't like about Slash Fiction. The one liners were great, the tension was great, the LeviaWinchesters were scary/funny, Bobby & Jodie were great.
ReplyDeleteI can even tolerate Baby being in the corner ( so long as it's not for too long.) And I know Sam's (rightfully) angry with Dean right now - the truth should've come from realDean not LeviaDean, but I'm not too worried. Right from the start S7 was going to be about the boys hunting together. They'll sort it out- they always do.
And CROWLEY!!!! Did I miss Mark in the credits or did he leave himself out again? Must check.
Chevette+Frank Devereaux+Inside Bobby's Head+LeviaBoss+Crowley Faceplant+Air Supply+Jody Mills and I can't keep going.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode.
Writers are like ball players. They have bad days, too.
Loved it!! It felt like we were back to more old school Supernatural, which i love. I'm also glad that Bobby finally has a love interest! yay Bobby/Jody! I'm LOVING this season so far!!
ReplyDeleteHe was there but with everything else happening, I forgot about him until I saw the limo.
ReplyDeleteI was a little disappointed with the end, me personally I had hoped Sam would just deck Dean and get it over with. The walking away thing, just seemed like a bit of a let down.
ReplyDelete:D what's not to like? It was AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteI love Bobby/Jody
FINALLY!! Thje amy thing is out!
:D Some great actions scene...OH GOD THE SLASH SCENE X'''''DDD
....and way too many others great scenes :D
ReplyDeleteI loved it. So much action, and now we know how to kill a Leviathan. Now all Sam and Dean need to do is figure out how to kill all of them :l
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck in the middle. I thought Sam should have walked for an episode, maybe two. But they are light years closer to solving the Leviathan problem which would warrant swallowing his pride and hanging in. I hope they aren't too chummy with each other for a bit. Conflict would make for good Leviahunting!
ReplyDelete:P Me too!...in a way I was sad I saw the promo pics cause it would've been a surprise :( before the promo pics were like 4-5 pics in a hotel room or whatever, or the boys talking...now we had pic of the trial for episode 4, pics of Crowley in episode 6, the promos pics are giving more and more away :'(
ReplyDelete:) I'm thinking the same about Crowley, that's what I said to my bro and my friend when we watched this scene. This will be a funny scene of Crowley asking for help for once xD
ReplyDeleteSeriously Dean doesn't even mention that Sam is a walking time bomb and shouldn't be left alone? Sometimes this show has massive gaping plotholes that makes it really hard to take seriously. The whole Sam and Dean being on the most wanted list storyline was ludicrous. Just because they are presumed dead doesn't mean people won't recognise them in the future, particularly law enforcement officers who they often seem to have a lot of contact with. I really enjoyed the guy from POTC he was a cool character but thumbs down for killing the legend that is Michael Hogan. I still somehow managed to enjoy the episode but that is Supernatural for you :)

Forgive, yes. Forget? No.
ReplyDeleteActually that would've made more sense than Air Supply. :)
ReplyDelete*raises hand slowly*
ReplyDeleteBut Dean reacted well. He didn't argue or try to get Sam to listen. Even tho Sam reacted exactly how he thought he would, Dean just said OK and I'm sorry. Now it's up to Sam.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
ReplyDeleteWhat I did love was the comedy in this episode.
Yeah. I did.
ReplyDeleteForgiving too easy is love.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but Dean was right. Sam would walk when he knew.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Sam reacted exactly how Dean feared he would. Sometimes it sucks to know your brother so well. But Dean didn't argue or get mad or try to force him to stay. He let him go. I think that shows growth on Dean's part. Now Sam needs to catch up.
ReplyDeleteDean has a lot of insecurities. Sam walked.
ReplyDeleteI think Crowley is out for Crowley. I think the Leviathan leader surprised. Crowley is used to being important. Now he's not. There's the underlying threat of destruction. He may go to the Winchesters but it's only if he thinks they can help him. He won't help them much. He has this you scratch my back and I'll scratch back attitude. He always has.
ReplyDeleteSo the Winchesters now need to get a bunch of squirt guns -- super soakers - and start in on the Leviathon population. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's frightening. Are we sure Bobby got some love. I didn't read that into it.
ReplyDeleteI agree one hundred percent on the Sam Dean issue on lying.
ReplyDeleteWould Little River Band have been as funny?
ReplyDeleteExcellent!!!! That would be something Dean wold come up with.
ReplyDeleteI think when Dean knew he'd been outed he was to talk.
ReplyDeleteThey just need to okay it with the actors and leave their names out of the opening credits. (Unless it's in the contract.)
ReplyDeleteI thought that after the first episode with Mark Pellegrino. Imagine the shock of seeing him just show up without the advance warning?
From what I was told, Sera had the scene like a pair of lovers breaking up. Jensen and Jared read it and called her and said HELL NO. They redid the scene themselves. That's what has come out about the ending.
ReplyDeleteDean would have handled Sam decking him a lot better then leaving him. Dean doesn't handle that. I approved highly of Jensen's way of having Dean kind shy back and say okay. I'm sorry and just move away. That's totally Dean. Jensen and Jared redid that scene. They didn't like what was written.
ReplyDeleteA beyond Awesome episode that worked on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteNo. But the Carpenters or Bread would have been funnier.
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. But Ms. Mills did have that look in her eyes at one point upstairs.
ReplyDeletePlease ladies don't beat me up for that obviously sexist remark!
ReplyDeleteI beg to disagree.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything you said about the episode, except for the
ReplyDeleteending. I think Sam left because he felt too many emotions at once and
didn't really know how to react. I do believe though that next episode
won't be a time jump, I think Sam will think it over and talk it out
with himself and probably with Dean as well. They seemed perfectly fine
in the preview for next episode so I think Sam and Dean do work it out.
Sam may still be a bit hurt, but that's a step. The brothers won't leave
each other, they will always have each others backs, and that's what I
want. The only thing I didn't like about the ending (but something I
completely understood) was when Sam left, because we know that Dean, all
the way from Season One, never wants to be left alone. He kept the
secret because he probably didn't want Sam to get mad and leave.
In the end though, it doesn't seem like the situation will stay for
long. I do think they'll work it out early in the episode, or perhaps as
the episode goes on. They know they need to stick together, and after
all they went through, I think they've learned their lesson for the most
part.
That's exactly how I was feeling with Dean this episode. We know that all the way from Season One, he never wants to be alone. The ending was so sad, for Dean and for Sam.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they'll work it out completely next episode, I'm glad that Sam didn't leave Dean for a long period of time.
Was it just me or was there no Drinky Dean this episode?
ReplyDeleteHa! The Carpenters. No way Dean knows the words to We've Only Just Begun. :)
ReplyDeleteUse the sprinkler system like they did when Lillith took over the subdivision right before Dean met the dogs.
ReplyDeleteI want to see if Dean ends up with the rims.
ReplyDeleteI had to vote great instead of awesome just for one reason: the ending, the guys apart again, that is so season 4 and season 5. They ahve done that walking out each other two times already, I'm not sure what they want to acomplish with a third one at this point, and it kinda makes me huff in annoyance.
ReplyDeleteBesides that, this episode was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI feel that the way Supernatural is conceived leaves room for tons and tons of stories,
It's an open canvas and the writers could go in infinite directions, safeguarding at its center the boys' relationship..............so the moon's the limit!
nothing to do with this episode, but i am watching season 1 now because i was too scared to watch it when the show first started. what happened to sam's premonitions. how come he doesn't have them anymore?
ReplyDeleteArgh!
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the ep was just great.
ReplyDeleteI guess the last scene is the "cheesy" fight J&J were talking about recently when they were supposed to say bromantic stuff like: "No, I cant talk t you right now. Dont touch me". Haha glad Jared and Jensen had a say in this...
This episode was perfection! I laugh AND I cried - it's been a while since we had one of those episodes!
ReplyDeleteExactly. Seriously, what was Dean supposed to do. Beggin Sam to stay cus he's a freakin time bomb? Dean was clearly shocked!
ReplyDeleteGotta say it one more time: AWESOME! :)
ReplyDeleteGuilty! I love this song!
ReplyDeleteJust finished rewatching and the part where Sam walked away was so reminiscent of Scarecrow. How long were the boys apart? Less than one episode. I can't see this lasting even that long. Yes I know they're together in the promo for next week, but I still would've said the same thing if I hadn't seen it.
ReplyDeleteIt was good,it was really, really good! The best one since episode 2,by far..
ReplyDeleteThe performances were brilliant.By now we've learned to expect as much from Jared,Jensen,Jim and Mark, but I was blown away by the rest.Kevin McNally was awesome and I definitely want to see him again, especially in a scene with Bobby.
Can't really say I'm surprised.. ; )
I agree best episode of S7 so far! Loved it! And Dean singing was absolutely hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the Amy secret is out because enough. So, writers, that'll be the last of secret keeping and leaving once they make up, right?!!
The best episode so far this season, easy. This is the first time I didn't spend the hour waiting for Castiel to show up.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else think it would've been awesome if there had been a rubber duck hanging in that car instead of a 'my little pony'? First thing I thought of when I saw it :D
ReplyDeleteLoved it! Wow.
ReplyDeleteYou know, if the Leviathans are as indestructible as they claim to be, I have to wonder why they fear Sam and Dean in particular so much? It's been KILL THE WINCHESTERS basically from the get-go. I mean, I get that past examples prove that if anyone can find a way to kill the Leviathans it's the Winchesters and their gang, but the Leviathans made it basically their mission to destroy Sam and Dean specifically, not hunters in general ... Makes you wonder.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED it! Finally feeling SPN is back;) I mean: Bobby researching and romance in the air, Dean beating altSam & altDean, truth finally revealed and AWESOME scene - Dean singing;)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I didn't like was the ending.
ReplyDeletei am agree with you somethig dark and very hidden.is coming .
ReplyDeletegreat season so far after 1n2. Huha! Industrial cleaner... who knew... lol talk about washing the dirt away... literally
ReplyDeleteAwesome, awesome, AWESOME! Best episode since Hello, Cruel World without a doubt. I'm actually having trouble thinking of a single thing I didn't like, so I'm just going to list a few of the things I did like:
ReplyDelete-LeviaBoys: Damn, they were hilarious.
Is it possible that they shot this before Duck Nation really took off?
ReplyDeleteFinally! The episode was pretty good, quite entertaining, and much better than the previous 3 episodes. Good job Supernatural, finally getting back on track, let's just hope it keeps going.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first heard about Slash Fiction being the 6th episode I thought it was going to be something similar to a lot of Supernatural fanfiction writers are writing. Add that with a picture of the two brothers in a bed, so when heard about it being the brothers cloned, that maybe the cloned ones would be in that picture.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saddened that they didn't go that way, I still totally loved this episode. Also very glad Dean's newest secret about Amy is finally out in the open, imo it was [being kept] too long a secret.
Cannot wait for next week!
I'm all outta love, I'm so lost without you... LOL! One of the funniest scenes EVER! Oh man. These boys do comedy so well.
ReplyDeleteOh, the eppy itself?
ReplyDeleteI'm not trying to argue this killing monsters thing again, but my point is that Dean's actions were personal to Sam.
ReplyDeleteWhat would you want him to do? Bottle it up and take it out in alcohol and hurtful comments spread out over the next two seasons?
ReplyDeleteloved it.
ReplyDeletethe shifter sam and dean were awesome, like when they were saying how much they hated sam and dean. the cloning made the episode so intense. the scene in the police station kind reminded me of jus in belo. i liked all the flashbacks to season 1 episodes.
dean's face when he had to give up his baby was priceless. and that scene with him singing in the car was hilarious
i loved every scene with boby and the leviathan guy. he was really cool. i knew that they were gonna find an everday cure to killing those evil douche bags but i think household detergent is making this waaaaay to easy.
interesting to see crowley at the end of this, i hope something there gets taken further although i do like how that leviathan shut him down completely and took his muffins.
and best of all, we FINALLY got a step forward in the never ending 'dean killed amy' drama. hopefully it gets fixed very soon because i am so sick of this hanging over our heads. i don't want to see her in any more "then"'s. on the "then", did anyone think it was done differently this episode but much more awesome?
Sam can't always react in ways that are best for Dean. He's allowed to have emotional reactions too when he's been hurt.
ReplyDeleteThe thing to watch is whether Dean actually learned something from this.
ReplyDeleteOne nitpick here - when Sam and Dean wanted to go after the Leviathan, and Bobby wanted them to lay low until they knew how to kill them, it reminded me of season 4 when Sam was fueled on demon blood and wanted to go charging after several demons at a time while Dean made a comment about the smarter brother being back. It seemed out of character for Dean to charge in head first without a plan.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my problems with Bobby coming along on hunts. He ends up taking the role of one of the brothers. Usually its taking over the research for Sam. This time it was being the voice of reason and forcing Dean out of character.
They shot that episode at the beginning of september and duck nation started in august I think or end of july maybe
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps Dean needs to do the growing up and practice what he constantly preaches,... telling the truth instead of lying to his brother.
ReplyDeleteRespectfully have to disagree. Dean can't talk to his brother without Sam leaving? No Dean is feeling guilty because he lied. Not once but twice. He told Sam he trusted him when he didn't then he lied about Amy. If he had of been upfront from the beginning Sam would have been angry but no it has snowballed.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Sam will calm down and realize he needs his brother so I'm not too worried. I just wish Sera would lose this whole 'the world is on my shoulders' Dean and give us back the real Dean.
Look up borax and it may not seem as crazy as you think! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. Looks like they work it out pretty quickly. Sam is more hurt than angry. His brother who is all about truth and trust betrayed him. And when Sam needs him the most. Still I'm hopefully they work it out next week and MOVE ON.
ReplyDeleteBorax comes in pellet form, we don't have to retire the shotgun yet :) I'm a bit of a chemistry nerd and the whole Borax thing made me smile!
ReplyDeletewhy i am agree about his reaction give him (dean) a hug (uh) please, smack or punch his face walk ok you think i will sit inside a car with a person who lied about kill a person that i give a second chance (sam) about a monster they are brothers dean have to respect sam .
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps Sam actually left to take some time to himself to cool down and be able to discuss this with Dean in a rational manner instead of right then there and then both brothers end up blowing up at each other and saying things or doing things that they'll regret.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more with this.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't Sera. It was the writer of the episode. They called Sera and expressed their discomfort with how the dialogue was written. Jensen talked about this at the con last weekend. I know. I was there.
ReplyDeleteOh that's right. Because Sam is hurt by the fact that his brother betrayed him and needs some time to himself to cool off and calm down, he deserves to have his ass kicked. Yep. Totally makes sense. *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeleteNow the guys need to visit Will at Red Jacket to see if he can manufacture a double-barrell Gatling Gun that can be pulled behind an Impala. Dean driving, Sam on the trunk turning the crank while wearing pilot's goggles and a scarf.
ReplyDeleteI loved every second of it! Another truly awesome episode from one of the best seasons ever!
ReplyDeletePoor Sam, I knew a bomb would be dropped at the end of the episode in some way, but I did not think that Sam would find out from bad Dean the truth about what really happened to Amy.
ReplyDeleteI am very glad that Dean let Sam walk away, even if he(Sam) is a walking time bomb. Hopefully Sam will be smart enough to recognize the danger in walking away on his own.
ReplyDeleteLoving as in he has an actual love interest that isn't a ZOMBIE ;) Loving in that they actually paid attention to his needs. Guess loving has many meanings.
ReplyDeleteYou idea of loving differs from what I meant. Not sex...just attention paid to him and a few kisses.
ReplyDeleteI loved that look in her eye! Not sexist at all. Bobby's a rugged, tender man so any SD woman with a sense about her would like him ;)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they will pick up right where they left off next time? The brothers have a conversation and get tings "worked out" before the case of the week?
ReplyDeleteThis is totally off topic, but everytime I see your name I think of a brownie and how much I want one! LOL!
ReplyDeletei am agreed they had thousends of liltle hanging ducks on set why did chose one .
ReplyDeleteWell I realized it was probably the writer and not Sera herself, but she's the showrunner now so she's got the bottom liine and she should know better by now about what works and what doesn't.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I think you misunderstood me...I didn't want a big, drawn out lover's quarrel, I was just hoping the guys could stand up and approach this as brothers.
ReplyDeleteThe way that whole scene was played out just felt like a let down to me.
The ep from start to finish was excellent, glad the Amy killing is finally out in the open and from the previews looks like they have worked it out. At least they are working together, so maybe worked out. lol
ReplyDeleteFinally a way to kill the Levi, just something else to add to their arsenal. Baby is in a corner, that is very sad, now we need to get the Impala and Misha back.
Zombie love could be underrated.
ReplyDeleteMe, me, love Air Supply and of course how could you not sing along. lol Very funny scene.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteYou always have perfect comments, just what I wish I had said. lol
ReplyDeleteIn addition to the aliases and such the Leviathan learned from Castiel, they also had to glean the knowledge of all the battles, defeating 3 out of the 4 horsemen, putting both Michael and Lucifer in the cage and having a working relationship with Death. I think that moved them to the top of the list.
ReplyDeleteI thought the way it played out was realistic. With the exception of season 4 when Sam was on demon blood, it's never been in character for Sam to hit Dean, even when Dean hits him first. Dean practically raised Sam, so Sam hitting Dean would be like hitting your parent.
ReplyDeleteSam had just found out and was in shock. I'm sure Sam will confront him next episode, after Sam has had time to process what happened.
Then a question for you: since borax is a fire retardant, can you even use it in bullets?
ReplyDeleteHe was there, in fact when I saw his name I went back to see if hopefully, Misha was also listed. Dang I want my favorite Angel back, or just Misha in any form.
ReplyDeleteThe ending was perfect for me and what I expected. Love J2, they have their characters down to a science. In fact I said this from season 1, ep 1, there was none of the learning the characters for them, it was like they had been doing it for years. Not many actors can do that..Love this show.
ReplyDeleteYes, but even the most gentle, friendly dog will eventually bite if you kick him enough.
ReplyDeleteI would just have preferred to see them stay together and work it out one way or another rather than just have one or the other of them walk away...that's the easy out for the writers and it's been done ad nauseum. Please, can't we move on from that?
From what Misha said, he's not on any of the upcoming episodes. If we see him again this season, it won't be until the end. And Sera said in a recent interview on AOL that they don't have plans to bring back Cas at this time, even though they're currently planning the second half of the season.
ReplyDeleteWell guess I am weird as I have NEVER taken the show "seriously", it is supernatural and as much as I love this kind of stuff, it is just TV. lol
ReplyDeleteI think Sam will get angry, just not physical, with Dean. I don't like seeing them hit each other, but I too wouldn't blame Sam if he hit Dean. It's just not really his character.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me very sad. ;(( It is not often that a show adds a character that I really fall for, can't stand Jess in Burn Notice, but dang I loved all of Misha's character and laughed so hard with Misha playing Misha, that has got to be one of the best eps ever.
ReplyDeleteI'm not holding out hope for Cas coming back soon, but I think we might see Misha as another character (a leviathan maybe) later in the season.
ReplyDeleteThank God, we are back on track and hopefully the writers won't give us another bad epsiode until at least after the fall finale.
ReplyDeleteI think household cleaning supplies is a kind of nod to H. G. Well's "War of the Worlds" where the common flu kills the invaders. They are all powerful but they are old. And man kind is king of killing things, the planet, animals, each other so yeah, it maybe easy but I kind of get it.
ReplyDeleteit's not like they're that much afraid. I mean we saw at least thousand of them getting free and how many are after the boys? They send one....plus the 2 who took the boy shape...maybe add the fake FBI one, 4 Leviathans out of hundred? If they were so terrified they would all be after them or send at least a lot more (like the 30+ demons at the same time in Jus in bello when demons were after them)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking they just know the boys are good and competant and don't want to take any risk, but they don,t feel very in danger, the rest of the Leviathans must be doing something bigger
ReplyDeleteOH DEAR GOSH!!! Thank you for reminding me about the Air Supply. I managed (only barely) to keep my lips still. But I have to agree with Sam. Dean singing along to "I'm all out of love." was a little scary.
ReplyDeleteYou came away from the scene with Crowley thinking he was working with the Chief Leviathan (I can't remember anyone's name this morning)? I got the impression that Crowley got sent away empty handed and a veiled death threat. I definitely think Crowley's going back to the boys with an offer to join up and work together against the common enemy. Can Crowley *find* the boys with the script Cas burned into their skeletons?
ReplyDeleteI do like Sam better this season (though sadly I only liked his hair for one ep...and I did love LeviaDean's deciding to stick with Dean because he has the better hair.) I think it's because he's let it go...he's dealing with one comes one day at a time but he's not terminally angsty.
luckily I haven't poured my coffee yet. Otherwise I'd have spit it on my keyboard lauging at that.
ReplyDeleteSince I have loved all his characters, Castiel, Jimmy, hippie Cas, God, Misha as Misha, and the vessel of the Levi, I don't care what he comes back as. lol
ReplyDeleteWhen the Levia Cheese guy asked if Bobby wanted to try the acid again I was thinking 'try base!' (science major) and it was sodium borate which makes a basic solution :P. Great episode, could not stop laughing when Dean was singing. Promo looks like the boys are back, I think they will both end up in the same town as they as looking for jobs then have to work together. I think they need some time apart to think about things and regain their focus.
ReplyDeleteFor me, my interest is probably a 50/50 split between Misha and Cas. I got caught up in the angel's story last year, and it feels like it ended abruptly. I wanted to see him face the aftermath of what he'd done. The fact that nothing this season has me really excited yet isn't helping. The Leviathan story is decent TV but it's not addictive TV.
ReplyDeleteWell truthfully I don't really want to see him hitting Dean either, I would just have preferred he stayed and they worked through it somehow rather than just walking off. It's just that we've been there so many times before, I'd like to think the characters had grown a LITTLE since then and can work out their differences, even the major ones. But since they're together next week, it seems like somehow they do! :)
ReplyDeleteawww I love awkward, love-struck Bobby :) I'm also kind of glad to see Crowley back - he's a smarmy little bugger, but he keeps things interesting! now if only they could bring Cas back...
ReplyDeleteSO glad to see the Amy thing is finally out in the open.. I wonder how long the breakup is going to last! I have a feeling Sam isn't going to let this one go anytime soon, and I don't think that Dean really sees anything wrong with what he did, aside from lying to his brother.. I think we're in for a whole lotta angst!
haha I sang along until I realized that Dean was, too.. then I just giggled.. a lot..
ReplyDeletei love the episode was wooooow and dean so funy with the car
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that LeviaDean didn't swear it the episode like in the promo!
ReplyDeleteThe episode must have just been that awesome because I didn't even notice the loss of bad ass awesomeness of that word being said.
Not beg just mention it. If your brother was putting himself in crazy danger you wouldn't even say something about it and just let him go? He's basically a mental patient when you get down to it who could do harm to himself and other people.
ReplyDeleteThis episode was awesome. The baby in a corner and the diner talk was hilarious and the final scene made me want to watch the next episode, like, now!
ReplyDeleteI would think it would have no effect on the gunpowder in the shell as it is in a separate part of the round. Now if some got into the gunpowder as they were packing it, that could be a problem. You'd have to have Dean packing powder at one table and Sam at a different table loading Borate.
ReplyDeleteAnother place for Drinky Dean to mess something up.
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't think what he did to amy was wrong too. LoL
ReplyDeleteAs he should have. Dean has been lying to his face for weeks and when he constantly is preaching to Sam to not lie to him. I would have had to walk away and cool down too.
ReplyDeletelol, if only there was a sprinkler everywhere, that could actually work. It would be almost impossible, but it's Supernatural so... :P
ReplyDeleteLOL I noticed that right off, but I think it was because of the Pulp Fiction reference with Pumpkin and Honey Bunny. "IF ANYBODY F*CKIN MOVES, I'LL EXECUTE EVERY LAST MOTHERF*CKIN" ONE OF YOU!" but Levia!Dean's was "IF ANYBODY MOVES, I'LL EXECUTE EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!" Or something like that anyway! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, you've got a point, but the Winchesters must start swearing! Like Jared said, the Winchesters need to swear instead of saying ,"That was darn cool!" LOL
ReplyDeleteOh I hear you! Believe me! LOL! I think they need to swear more too, but this is the CW. It's like they said when I was at the convention last weekend, if the show was on a network like HBO, it'd be AWESOME because they get to swear more. Jensen said it actually "pains" him to say "friggin" LOL! Crazy boys!
ReplyDeletelol, man is good at killing things.
ReplyDeletebut how can they beak killed by something that wasn't even around when they were alive?
sam need to forgive dean!!plz
ReplyDeletei cant see those tow walk out again!!
come on!!dean forgive him after what he do over & over ...
please sammy!!
You're so lucky! I wish I could go to a Supernatural convention at least once in my life before the series ends, but I can't because they never come to Windsor, since it's far away from anything worth anything... :(
ReplyDeleteLOL, I feel his pain :P
Yeah, I did. That loud that the neighbors gave me strange looks the next day. So.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! If I sing, all the neighborhood cats end up at my door.
ReplyDeleteNah, the toy Dean cut off from the rear view mirror, I think it was a unicorn, didn't went out the window. When Dean opens the trunk and asks Sam what to do with the Leviathan heads the toy is seen lying beside the bag holding the heads.
ReplyDeleteMost likely back then they didn't even have a weakness which is why God sealed them in Pandämonium.
ReplyDeleteAt least that is what I think.
Awesome Episode on all accounts btw
I did not notice it in the truck, but thought I saw wings and just thought it was a Pegasus. Maybe like most things in SPN it was a cross breed. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou know, I imagine that they'll probably end up doing conventions well after the show has ended. Lots of shows do. ;) So I wouldn't worry too much! Whereabouts is Windsor if you don't mind me asking?
ReplyDeleteI sort of agree Deangirl, but I am reserving judgement for now.
ReplyDeleteIf that doesn't happen I will be majorly disappointed.
ReplyDeleteStill loved it though. Crowley! Was great to see him again. And I just realized Dean's hair makes him look younger. Reminds me of Season One Dean.
Can't wait for next week, off to rewatch the ep.
Windsor is in Ontario, very close to Detroit. Compared to every other place in Canada, Windsor is a pretty small place. Unfortunately it's pretty far away from many other major places, where Cons are usually held.
ReplyDeleteOh honey! That's only a little over 5 hours from Chicago which is where one of the cons I went to is held every year! You shouldn't let a bit of a driving distance put you off for a three day weekend worth of fun, because every single mile you drive to get there is totally worth it! Believe me! You should try and go sometime!
ReplyDeleteYa, but the problem is I can't drive, I'm still a teen going through high school. Plus my parents don't even know what a Con is as they didn't grow up with stuff like that, so they don't know the importance or want of a Con to a big fan. Another big problem is the economy, it's so down, and Cons cost so much.
ReplyDeleteAt least some very kind people record their experiences onto the internet. Watching the videos make me feel like I'm there anyways :)
Good point, and I certainly hope you're right! Just seems the writers have been dropping the ball big time when it comes to the emo stuff since last season. But I'll be more than happy to be proven wrong. :D
ReplyDeleteHe was so drunk that getting behind the wheel was like pointing a loaded weapon at a school bus. He wasn't just some "innocent" guy. He had to hold on to the car so that he could grope around for his keys. I have no tolerance for drunk drivers. If you are not totally clear headed, call a cab!!!
ReplyDeleteDean is the shoot first, ask questions later brother...
ReplyDeleteOk, I loved it!! BUT WHERE is Castiel?!? :( It's so depressing but I was glad to see Crowley again. Love Mark Sheppard. Everything seems to be falling apart without Cas!
ReplyDeleteWhat I meant is that going to confront the Leviathan knowing the Leviathan wanted to kill them and that no weapons seemed to work again them was more than dangerous, it was suicidal, and that was out of character for both of them. Sam was sometimes a little like that in season 1 when he was after YED and after Dean died in season 4 flashbacks, and Dean was suicidal in his action in season 3, but this was different. It was just dumb.
ReplyDeleteI agree and think it is amazing that the Best Character of 2011 is not in the series. It is very unusual for me to really like an added character, but Misha just added an extra spark to the show. Not taking anything away from the J2, they are awesome, but Misha just added a place for extra humor(Pizza Man, loved that ep). Agree about Mark, he is always fun to find on any series.
ReplyDeleteBack to added characters, I think Jesse just ruined the chemistry on Burn Notice, they need to get back to Michael, Sam & Fiona.
Brilliant , awesome, don`t know what to say ;) The fake Winchesters played their role well, especially Fake-Dean ;P
ReplyDeleteThe end was sad, and I really hope, Sam will forgive Dean fast ;/
And yeah for Sheriff Jody ;P
Yep saw the promo too, not worried at all. They're back together by next week.
ReplyDeleteAnd really, for all the people who claim to want back the old formula from season 1.
Great comment and a HIGH FIVE, could not agree more.
ReplyDeleteI just saw your post. LOL. I chose the name because I love brownies...and chocolate.
ReplyDeleteCrowley is gonna kick Dick ass
ReplyDeletemuffins!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant episode!! Great balance of tension and humour. Loved the Leviathans bitching about the Winchesters, the Swayze/Dirty Dancing shout out and Bobby getting some affection (hope the Sheriff doesn't die). Best part was Dean miming along to Air Supply - hilarious!!
ReplyDelete*highfives* LOL You and me both, sister! And now I shall think of brownies AND chocolate everytime I see you post! Hee!
ReplyDeleteloved this episode because we got more into bobby's past and i am like mmmm what did he do ?
ReplyDeleteso i rate this episode 9/10
