Great ep, liked that the mysterious Steve finally appeared and it's Jay Mohr! Interesting to see how they will develop his character even as it seems that they are stoking a thing between Dallas and George...
This is the only episode of the shoe I don't like thus far. And that's because all the Halloween stuff was forced and dragged down the storylines.
The Lisa storyline could have been good if it weren't for the dead girl possession stuff-- making her do that came off way too weird for a show that's supposed to have surreal humor.
The George storyline could have been good if it focused on the whole husband deal. Instead it was about scarin Dallas and then throwing in the husband thing at the last minute.
There weren't very many funny parts-- Tessa dressing up as a "plastic" was really funny, but nothing else stood out to me.
I really liked it, Tessa as a plastic got me laughing like a mad man "oh my god, ohmygod" And Lisa is really growing on me, she's so unhinged and weird.
My favorite part was the Dallas/George storyline. All the undertones in that friendship, maybe he's still oblivious, but I think Dallas knows she has feelings for him. (and that hand was way up his tigh)
"Lookin' good, Shiitake!" - That sentence alone made this episode awesome.
I like this show more and more each week. Tessa "bumpin' it" in blue velour as a plastic, spouting her "oh my god ohmygod" with a drink in her hand was damn funny. My only beef with this episode was that there wasn't enough Noah (Alan Tudyk).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was good. Liked Surprise!Jay Mohr.
