  1. Good episode! I think we are finally getting into a main story lie with the witch hunters. Alison's dad the hunter from Teen Wolf is now another hunter on SC! Good to see him, he's super evil looking.

  2. I wanted to give this show a last chance tonight.  It was hard to get to the end.  Jake the new guy had no interest for me.  Faye was still great but not enough to keep me watching.   It's a shame because with both caracteres (Faye and Nick) I would still be there next week.

  3. I really liked the previous episode and was looking forward to this one.  Unfortunately, instead having lots of action again we get an overdose of teen melodrama.  1 new guy, 2 new freaking love triangles.  I am out.

Also, what's up with every witch show having a super special number but then when they kill one member off, a long-lost relative not previously seen comes in to take their place?  It's Charmed all over again.

u to guys r giving up way to easily. If u have been watching so far the last 5 episodes then that means it was interesting to u and just because Nick died doesnt mean the whole story went with him. Nothing has really changed in story except that the characters are a little conflicted (but what show wouldnt do that right after a major death), and also now they introduced witch hunters after introducing demons which i think is a good way to raise the stakes and having jake being one of them is even more compelling to keep watching if u liked the first 5 episodes. I do like Nick better then Jake buts it been 1 episode we havent really seen much yet. And at least vd or a lot of other shows dont have witch hunters so its kind've new. The circle has to deal with the parents, demons, witch hunters all in 6 episodes i think thats a record for most viillain types in that short of time. I liked the episode and im liking everyone but i still as always hate faye. Shes really just a lame trying to be cool chick which may not be interesting but i'll keep going with the series.

  5. Jake was boring and annoying so not having him around can only be a positive! Well I'm sure it won't happen, but if they could kill Faye next the series would improve even more! XD Faye is just such a cardboard cut-out of a bratty, self-centered bitch caricature... ugh!

Frankly anyone outside of the Circle is a welcome change to me. Cassie is interesting and can act as can her grandma (and most the adults on the show), but the rest of the young circle is a bit challenged when it comes to acting talent.

Big brother Jake will add a lot of tension to the circle so that is a very good thing for drama and plot lines... I still can't quite get past the fact that the dumb wannabe model jock from 10 Things I Hate About You is now this brooding bad boy! XD  I like the idea of a witch gone rogue. Reminds me of Wesley on Buffy. A rogue demon hunter... but here we have a rogue witch hunter.

I love the witch hunters coming to town. The kids vs their parents is a plot that's better when it's touched on less often than more. The witch hunters could offer a distraction from the infighting between the members. The bickering among themselves is annoying. Glad the rest of the hunters are not teenagers!  Maybe these guys will be dangerous unlike Simone.

Overall a "Great" episode....one of the better episodes of the season. The best part is unlike most of the background episodes we had earlier, this one set up many future potential plot and arcs!

  6. A teen drama with love triangles and melodrama? No way! Adding magic into the mix doesn't change the fact that they're teenagers. Whether you like it or not, there's going to be A LOT of that. And watching this show expecting none of that to happen is silly.

People like to abandon TV shows way too quickly these days. Hell, they're jumping on the hate train so quickly these days that they're already in a running leap even before the show begins.

I don't know what you expected out of a teen drama, but methinks your expectations were unrealistic if those are the reasons you're quitting the show.

  8. Don't forget to close the door on your way out. You're clearly just mindset to hate the show. Anyone can see that this episode was one of the best so far, and pretty much set all the storylines for the rest of the season. Cassie's father, witch-hunters, the crystals, the mourning and yes, the love stuff. They are teenagers, what do you expect?

  9.  I think it was an awesome episode, with great twists, magic and
character and relationships development. Just like The Vampire Diaries,
it's taking some time for this show to really take off. And I finally
felt it tonight, it is taking off, the lingering I have for new episodes
of The Vampire Diaries just kicked in for this show. I can't wait for
    the next episode!

Melissa and Faye have a great friendship, I love their scenes.

  11. Wow some peoples children. lol  I am upset that they killed off Nick.  I really liked him a lot but I will still watch the show.  Ya never know Nick could come back.  Look at Vampire Diaries.  Ghosts are popping up everywhere.

  13. When I first saw Nick's brother he reminded me of Taylor Lautner a bit and then I found out his name is Jake :P. I thought it was great too, they still have a lot of character establishment to do, you're right they need to make Faye more interesting. I don't even understand why she wants power to do whatever she wants, like what does she want to do? She hasn't shown interest in doing anything other than opening her locker and partying which you can do just fine without magic. Hopefully they will show us something from her past to explain why she is that way or get her to soften up after Nick's death really sinks in. Looking forward to the story line of the witch hunters and the guy from Teen Wolf (who also played a hunter on that show :P). I wonder if he will end up being anyone's father...hmm

  14. I've started to watch again and it'S not as bad as the pilot...but I was kind of hoping they would kill Adam instead so we can get over with the cheesy love triangle that's dragging the show down

  15. Decent episode.  "Decent" seems to be normal for this show.

     - Jake seems slightly less boring and annoying than his brother Nick, but that's not saying much.
     - Faye was back to being a two-dimensional pain in the ass again.  Character regression is bad.
     - Diana is starting to grow on me.  I feel a bit sorry for her too.
     - Melissa had nothing to do but be distraught this week.
     - After six episodes, I can safely say that the Charles and Dawn characters aren't working out well.
     - Tip of the Hat / Wag of the Finger:  The Secret Circle edition...
        - A tip of the hat to Jane for having the common sense to tell Cassie she has to defend herself by learning all she can about being a witch and practicing witchcraft, instead of running away or avoiding things like Cassie's mother did.
        - A wag of the finger also to Jane for being gullible enough to open her big mouth to Dawn about the circle and the drowning.  Dawn and Charles are both really bad at hiding how shady they are and shame on Jane for buying what they're selling.
