There was not as much humor and banter between Reese and Finch as last episode, but this episode had a nice flow to it and a different feel from the other episodes for me. Instead of it concentrating on the person whose number come up, Zoe, it concentrated on helping her take down her dangerous enemy.. Zoe seems like a nice friend to have... I wouldn't mind if she turned up again later.
I loved Reese using Finch's own words referring to Finch as a "very private man" as a little poke at Finch. XD
A liked this episode a lot , but it was missing that extra special something to push it over into the "Awesome" category. So I voted that it was "Great".
PS: I was distracted tonight and missed any Lost-isms or Bad Robot-isms so if anyone noticed them please point them out!
great episode. really enjoyed it. Thought the Zoe character was a great addition.. hope to see her again. Nice to see Finch getting outwardly emotional.. glad he got his resolution for at least one missed number.
I hate that Sully was killed.. I know the detective is going to think she shot her mystery man (John) but it's gotta be one of the Hispanic cartel f'ers gunning for him over their money!
The only thing to me that felt Lost-related was the fact that all the names of people mentioned as the drug's testing victims were portuguese with a brazilian scent to them, so to speak.
So that reminded me of a Lost portuguese name with brazilian backstory that got killed because of a natural (spiderly) drug, and that character was briefly used... just like those 6 poor souls in POI's latest episode :)
But - hey - maybe I am digging too deep. I always like to remeber Lost and any excuse is a good excuse to bring that subject back :)
Overall, a great episode. I liked it in all sides of it, from the main story (apart the female character's name that reminded me of Lost's annoying Zoey or how was that spelled?) to the acting,
I also liked the fact that it seems to have a second aspect to it, like a broader story arch related to the 3rd episode (the assault on the evidence of Elias' archived case). Maybe we'll see some build up to a major connection between several elements that - for the time being - seem unrelated or meaningful only to each previous episode de per se.
I have the feeling that POI will become better and better, like a good ageing red wine :)
I didn't expect this episode to have anything related to this Elias case but it was a very welcomed surprise ..Now, I really wanna know more about it..
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I forgot how much I like Paige Turco!
