I think it was really good! Jane really had the whole thing under control, even a few steps ahead of Lisbon at times (much to her annoyance!) but often she let him take leads. She even sat comfortably in the chair while they were interviewing the land owner. Usually she's upright and all professional :)
Van Pelt seriously needs to sort out her issues. I liked how fiesty she seemed to have become in the prior episodes, but it's starting to annoy me slightly. I know it's all part of a plan to have her explode at some point later on, it's just irritating to see her short-tempered all the time and no one (other than Lisbon) pointing it out to her.
Lisbon was great! I loved her talk with Van Pelt. She can be a friend and suddenly switch to Boss-mode in a nano-second. I love that :)
Jane and Lisbon are always a darling <3 Seriously, these two can make the Arctic melt. :) I loved the moment where they're looking for the locals and Jane teases Lisbon about them gathered with their pitchforks LOL He's adorable when he teases her :D
The end when Jane throws the flower in the water is just beautiful. Some part of him wants to be at peace with his family's death, but another still vowes to get Red John.
Rigsby's girlfriend actually irritated me. I much prefered her last year :/
Great ep. I know Jane is the featured player on the show, but I would like to see more cases where the resolution of the case didn't always depend on him and the team solves it for a change. Just once in a while.
Yeah realizing Rigsby's girlfriend was lawyer that defended the guy who split Grace's lip made me not like her even more.I liked the part were Rigsby was trying to get the keys and he is like let me dive you are all worked up, and I thought when the were kind of wrestling for the keys that she was now worked up for another reason! The end was the best part of the end with Jane throwing the flower into the ocean!
- You can see that Lisbon has become more amused by Jane's antics this season. Again, you can see her smiling in the background while he's messing with people. That has happened several times so far in season 4. - I like angry Van Pelt. She's more interesting than regular Van Pelt. - It's nice that Rigsby has his defense lawyer girlfriend. I don't like sad-sack Rigsby. There was way too much of that last season.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

I thought the case was a tad boring. I enjoyed Van Pelt, tho. She's really badass this season.

ReplyDeleteI loved when Lisbon threw away that stone Jane gave her. Hilarious and so Lisbon XD
ReplyDeleteI really like Van Pelt this season. She is just so much more interesting when she is unbalanced and looking for a fight from everyone.
ReplyDeleteShe really threw the stone? Because she had it a moment in her hand, and then didn't show when she threw it

ReplyDeleteI thought she did because the stone was small and whiteso not really visible anyway. could be wrong though. I like to believe she threw it away lol.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The episode was rather lucklustre except for Van Pelt's struggle.
ReplyDeleteGood episode.

to me, this has been the best episode of the (disappointing) season so far.
