I loved the episode. It was really good, great acting, Kelli was amazing. Patrick was priceless! Jisbon moments filled the screen again *heart*. One I could watch again and again, and not grow tire of. Great job!
I like the Mentalist but I can't help thinking why we always have Jane figuring out and solving cases. In my opinion it remains a flaw of the show. What is the point of having the rest of the team when all the cases are cracked by Jane himself.
I think everyone in the team helps Jane in a certain way. He confides in Lisbon, being a "healthy and moderating influence on him", and Rigsby, Cho and Van Pelt all rubbed off on him at some point or another. Without their influence and friendship/partnership, I think Jane would be a different man than he is today.
But I understand what you mean. He always gets the job done. Would be nice to see him struggle with a case for once.
Kelli Williams did a better job than I expected. I guess I had a hard time believing her to be a gullible person. I'm glad Jane and Lisbon's bickering could put a smile on Van Pelt's face too. It's probably hard for her to smile or enjoy anything right now so that was good to see.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

It was a funny episode. You can still sense the great burden of sadness that Jane possesses.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode ;) Jane`s "reading" was priceless ;P
ReplyDeleteKelli Williams was excellent, but that's nothing new. Homegirl can act.
