This was a very...dull episode. The guy who is nice must of course be crazy and it's all part of an illness. It's been done in this show a gazillion times. At the same time I also feel like I'm watching a new show. Where are the characters I actually know?? Cuddy is gone, Chase and Taub are MIA (though Taub can remain that way), and Wilson and Foreman were barely there. And btw, I really do not like Foreman as Dean. Maybe because I keep thinking "Cuddy would've done or said it this way" and he just keeps coming up short of that. It's dull and not very interesting. Liked him more when he was budding heads with House as part of the team. I think I would've liked a new character better. Then only thing good was seeing Wentworth Miller :). Oh and the korean/filipino girl is fun. Goodbye 13, can't say I'll miss her much, though...
I like seeing the relationship between House and 13, I'll miss her. But I definitely like Odette's character and look forward to seeing her and House interact.
Foreman is really annoying as Dean, I don't know if I can get used to him in this position. When I started to like the relationship between Thirteen and House she is leaving. And since no one mentioned it before.....when did Thirteen become a lesbian??? Anyway, I will miss her for sure.
This episode was awesome. People who think otherwise are either idiots or still can't get over Lisa's departure. Go watch The Good Wife or Mad Men if you want to bore yourself to death.
Yeah,i don't care for Forman's new role either.I'm pretty sure Thirteen came out of her closet 2 years (seasons) ago.could be wrong,my timeline is a little screwed up lately!! :)
I thought this was the best episode of House i've seen for a very long time...after the awful last season this episode was much better with some great quotes from House and very good performances from everyone, especially Wentworth MIller and Olivia Wilde whom i'll miss very much...
I started the episode feeling the same way but by the end I was liking the dynamic between the two. The competition was awesome and, of course, House was pulling the strings. I don't know how long those two can carry the burden of the whole show so I do agree with you there.
I think they should cancel the show before going worse. And now, without Thirteen it will be worse. The two new girls have the grace of an eggplant and a chard. You choose who is each one. I gave them three chances, but I'm done. Paz
After three episodes, I've noticed a decision was made : Hugh Laurie is no longer wearing a "hair complement". That was the most important thing I noticed since the 8 th season has started. I didn't laugh out loud when I discovered Greg took avantage of the fight between the two new girls. I wondered why Geg had to do clinic time. I'm sad the last appearance of 13 didn't finish with a hug.
I gotta admit i liked this episode and the other episodes so far i do admit i miss the dynamic of huddy though they really eachother to the limits and now hes got nobody to really bounce off like he did with cuddy
- Foreman as Dean of Medicine is already wearing thin. - The interaction between the two new girls was really well done. - The final House / Thirteen scene was the best exit they could have done between those two. - I thought it was funny that Wilson completely reversed his position on House's patient to suit his own needs. House has really rubbed off on him over the years.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
so disappointed thirteen is gone, damn u Olivia Wukde and ur budding movie career.

ReplyDeleteThis season seems to simply be setting itself up for failure *sigh* . . .
