Best episode i've seen in ages! If the season continues to be as good as this one was, i will have to change my screenname. So excited now for the new season. Bring on the bromance!
Eight seasons and it is still amazing. I still can't believe Wilson punched him. David Shore again proves why he is the one producing the show the world watches
And a standing ovation for the new girl. What a unique and refreshing character I am in love all over again, Hell, I'd punch him in the face and then buy him a steak to prove it, if I could
I have to admit that I fully expected this second episode to suck, but I was wrong. This was much, much better than I expected until the very end when they decided to seal the rift between House and Wilson with a punch in the nose. That was way too easy. It's bordering on a cop-out, really.
Charlyne Yi was very good in her first episode. She's not quite as enjoyable as Masters but she's still a lot of fun nonetheless.
The new girl is fun and different, I liked her. The episode was ok, nothing really super-uber amazing. I certainly won't be adding it to my faves list. The hospital looks different, the lobby, the colors IDK. I missed Cuddy. The dynamic between House and her definitely leaves a hole in the show for me. So House and Wilson are a-ok now? Meh, that was fast... I give it a C, very average.
Not yet AWESOME to me. I have a problem with the new voices : Dr. Adams and Dr. Park. Good punch from Dr. Wilson. The writers had better put them back together as friends quickly, just to show something interesting very soon.
Loove the new girl! She;s fun and cute C: And I liked the episode.
Except the end. I thought they rushed House and Wilson back together too soon. As much fun as they are as friends, it seemed very weak to just shove them together immediately. No only was it hurried, but it also seriously damages Wilson's character, IMHO. I liked when it seemed he'd developed a backbone and attempted to get away from such a destructive friendship.
I was all for them becoming friends again, just... further down the line. They should have worked angry Wilson a bit more, because it's more interesting. Explored the side of him that hates House and is really angry with him, rather than just punch! and we're done with this. And House should have had to work harder and show some humility, too. He did try a little but not enough.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
it didnt air on the east coast
ReplyDeleteGreat episode! So far I really like the direction of this season.
ReplyDeleteDunno if I'm going to be able to survive the voice of the new asst. The character holds promise, tho...
