Really loved this episode. Knew that it wouldn't end well, if he was allowed to met with his torturer. Either Estes was deliberately looking away or he really is blind to what he allowed to happen!
Pretty good. had to laugh when they played noisegrind to torture Brody's former guard. Some years ago I had a similar band going on and even though I'm not doing noise anymore and listen to a lot of other music, I still am an active member of the grind scene with 2 bands. It's just a genre that you barely see on TV or in movies, it definitely made me like the episode a bit more. Apart from that I hope for more scenes with Danes & Lewis. They were brilliant in those last scenes of last week's episode and they were great again.
I've only just caught this week's episode, and I have to agree about Danes and lewis, they are pure magic on the screen :)
I still can't shake the feeling that there is something up with Mike, more than just trying to cover up the affair. I can't accept that Lewis really is a bad guy, esp now there are going to be further seasons. I can see them catching who ever is the infiltrator and then team up to catch further baddies in the other seasons.
They also made it look too obvious that he passed the blade during that scuffle, I however think that he got it while Danes was in the kitchen the night before taking her pills and not watching the screen. It then could easily been stashed under the table, where his hands where positioned before he decided to write the email address. Or, it wasn't suicide at all XD
I honestly don;t know what to make of Brody yet. He did bad things to survive granted..... but did he turn? I'm not sure yet.
Did he supply the razor blade? They gave him opportunity for sure, but like you pointed out, there was other opportunities...
That's what makes this show so great to me. Nothing is obvious and spelled out so even a coma patient can catch the ending like most TV shows these days.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Very VERY good.. can't wait for next week
ReplyDeleteAmazing, I see a well deserved Emmy in Claire Danes future.
ReplyDeleteThis episode was so intense... the show is really great, don´t wanna miss a single episode!

Mandy Patinkin in this episode was amazing, so intense. Mandy and Claire Danes deserve an emmy
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else see the look in Damian Lewis' eyes? Every single stare is slightly terrifying and also incredibly sad at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAnd Claire Danes is just awesome.
