Tough call, as this was far more serious than funny. I guess you really can't make the topic of abuse humorous so you gotta wonder why Seth decided to go this route.... Not exactly what I want to get out of Family Guy.....
I really disliked this episode. Whilst their were elements of true family guy humour within the episode, the episode itself wasnt true to the Family Guy of past. Seth has said that he feels Family Guy should have ended by now/quite soon and with this sort of episode, it feels like he's trying to push viewers away, so he can focus on American Dad (which I have no issues with...!) and the Flintstones.
As magnutude said, there isnt a delicate way in which to approach domestic violence, but this was OTT. Family Guy to be cancelled next year perhaps...? Just sayin'...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
