Jealous Beckett was awesome. The entire episode was really good. I think that more than anything it made her realize that Castle won't wait forever, but he's still holding out.
Lot to love here. The mystery was intriguing with lots of twists and I think Beckett and Castle's relationship is most fun when seen through Esposito and Ryan's eyes. They bring the snark and exchanged knowing glances in the little moments.
I gotta agree with Dahne, The two people who really seem to know what's going on are Esposito and Ryan. And they relish and nurture the situation, making it more fun to watch. I think I'm in the minority, but I like Captain Gates and the way she stirs things up. It was hilarious how she overheard the conversation and came out her office, scaring the hell out of everybody. At last we get to see Beckett's side. I hope TPTB continue showing us both parts of the story. Fun night, keep it up AWM.
Another awesome episode! definitely one of the more lighter comedic ones and loved it! There has been no fault this season so far... it's been absolutely perfect!
I DONT STEEL THINGS THAT BELONG TO SOMEONE OMG! It was GREAT! though im freaking scared this will turn into bones.. please dont please. WE KNOW they love each other CASTLE SAID IT! cmon aw
Loved jealous Beckett (man she was pissed off!) and Castle's frustration, that was so funny and so well played! "I don't steal thing that belong to someone else" = perfect, and so was "I think we both got what we wanted". I am glad they have the therapist character for Kate, we finally get to have her verbalize her feelings to someone, and it's an impartial observer who can make her really think about what's going on in her head. The question about what she is more afraid of hit the nail right on the head, and I really think that she figured out the answer to that at least in part. And it was cute that she was going to still protect him from being hurt because she cares so much. By pretending she didn't care if Castle went out with Serena, she was I think trying to see okay, what's he going to do here and give herself that fall back. If he went for it, she could tell herself "that's what he's after and I'll just pretend I don't love him and move on". With him not going for it, she couldn't do that and the look on her face was barely contained happiness that he didn't. Now she knows though that he's willing to wait for her, but he's only human.
- I would have liked more time with Beckett and her shrink. - It is becoming increasingly more difficult for Beckett to hide her feelings. They were so transparent this week that Esposito basically called her out on them. - It's time to start expanding Gates' character. "Iron" Gates simply being a grumpy, dismissive hard-ass was not the kind of new Captain we were promised. - I can't blame Martha for trying to set Castle up. If I was a parent in that situation, I wouldn't want to see my son or daughter in Castle's situation either.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't steel things that belong to someone? AWESOME!
