Having previously served under President Bartlett, Richard Schiff will soon lord over a dominion of his own — on Once Upon a Time.
TVLine has learned exclusively that the Emmy-winning West Wing alum will guest star on ABC’s fantastical freshman series as the Enchanted Forest’s King Leopold, who also happens to be Snow White’s father.
While I shan’t reveal much more here, fairy tale enthusiasts can probably predict who this king will be wed to when we meet him in Episode 11. But what you very well might not know is what character’s somewhat tragic (yet thoroughly romantic) backstory he will figure into.

ReplyDeleteAnd let me guess, he's married to the Evil Queen, who is somehow both Henry's adoptive mother and step great-grandmother? It's still blowing my mind that Henry's birth mother and grandparents are pretty much the same age and this just makes it weirder!

ReplyDeleteSound really good and Richard Schiff is a wonderful actor. Does anyone know if West Wing is showing anywhere (reruns of course),It used to be on Bravo but i don't believe its on anymore.
ReplyDeleteI like Richard Schiff but this casting seems a bit odd to me. However, Schiff is a darn good actor and, since I haven't seen him do anything like this before, I'm fine with reserving judgment about this until I see what he does onscreen.
