  1. So Dean's going heavy on the hunter's helper? He's turning into a mini-Bobby. I though the show was about two brothers and a grumpy drunk. Now it's becoming one brother and two grumpy drunks?

  2. Seeing the thing about Dean makes me sad. Yea...its part of his character to be an alcoholic, but theyre emphasizing his drinking more and i'm worried about him. Our poor guy :(

  3. Booze AND bees? C'mon writers give Dean a break.

  4. Okay, I'm going crazy tgrying to keep up with all the twists and turns

  5. They're making a Bugs Part II?

  6. I don't know what bothers me the most..The fact that they'll show something that will force us to remember Bugs or that we're still talking about Amy?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  7. That is their intention for you and the audience  worry and by consumed by the factor knowing has the Dean sympathy . Sheldon from Big Bang could explain it better but it has infused the show since Dean lost John back in Season 2 .I

  8. I'm fearing that. But judging by the ep titles we know, I don't see how they can fit in bugs in any of those episodes. Anyway, I hope it won't happen. The firts Bugs was bad enough.

  9. Maybe bees are killing workers at the Amazon.com warehouse?

  10. It's nothing new...Dean going heavy on the hunter's helper has been going on and off since S4. I wish that they would have him deal with it and maybe that is why they bring it up?

  11. Supernatural this week sounds interesting but...(I'll have to see when I watch)

Chuck on the other hand? I can't wait until next week! It is their Swan Song season and what is great about knowing that it is the final season-- is that they can go nuts while wrapping up storylines, etc. I'm intrigued by this upcoming season's storyline!

  12. Ha. Or maybe people order stuff at Amazon but actually get bees in a box?

  13. Since Jensen said the Amy thing would be resolve quickly i'm betting it's in the episode, maybe Sam will push him enough to talk :)

  14. This is a rare miss from Matt M. at TV Line.

Most people already knew about Dean's increase in alcohol consumption  (although the bugs callback was a bit surprising) and the Secret Circle info about the party has been reported by a handful of sites and columns already.

  15. I wouldn't be totally sure about this being Chuck's final season. I know it's been announced that it is and all, but I believe that if what should happen to Chuck's ratings this season does happen, then it might get more episodes. Being on Fridays now is going to be an immense reduction in competition, which is exactly what the show needs to get better ratings. The show is also getting a lot more promotion already than it ever did during season 4 because of Comcast. Considering the rate that NBC's news shows are flopping at (fast), if Chuck starts getting decent ratings, then NBC might not have a choice but to give it more episodes because at this point they are desperate for anything that gets decent ratings. I know this is very cautiously optimistic but it could happen. The ratings for the 28th are going to be very interesting.

  16. Oh I agree. Also the fact that it will be airing on Fridays will be a huge factor- despite the fact that it is going up against Nikita, etc in the 8 PM timeslot (it is still going to be 8 isn't it?)

Although all I really see them doing is maybe giving them more episodes beyond the 13 ordered episodes for this season.

The ratings have to be huge for NBC to consider another season though.

  17. I've said it before, the reason Carrie can't remember who killed her sister on Unforgettable is because SHE (sorry, can't underline) killed her sister.

  18. Noooooooo!  (Runs screaming from the room.)

  19. Ha!  That is a toss up.  How about we sick the cursed bugs on Amy's ghost and get rid of both in one setting.  Better yet, toss all the hunter's helper on the two and get rid of three problems at once.

  20. Now that would be an interesting twist and would take it out of run-on-the-mill cop procedural a whole lot more than remembering everything does.

  21. Supernatural - no, no, no.  (alcohol, bugs, Amy)   YES!!!!! - Charisma and James.  Let's hope the focus stays on them.

  22. Emo drunk Dean?  Ugh.  No thanks.  How is it that Sam and the wall are getting glossed over so quickly despite the apparently devestating effects of the wall falling, but Dean killing Amy (which I agree was WRONG, but is so minor) somehow warrants all this attention on his guilt and poor coping skills?  I love Supernatural and will always watch and I think overall will always enjoy, but I really could do without Intervention: Supernatural again (we've already been there with the demon blood, a storyline I particularly dislike as it really maligned Sam) - I'd honestly rather see "Bugs 2" than that.

  23. I just hope he isn't wrong about the Morgansect payoff.

  24. I want to watch supernatural and not a soap oprea

  25. From what I gathered before the season started, both brothers would deal with their dmons.  Let's hope they take of this and give us back what they promised.....more like season one.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's Supernatural...Dean doesn't get a break.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Now that's funny.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That's an excellent idea.  Jensen will tell you he can't about it, but he's not know to lie to us if he says something will resolved quickly.  Jared is the same way.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm hoping they use the counseling thing to enable Sam to get through to Dean.  Maybe the bees are his pink elephants.

  30. What Morgansect payoff?  I think I've missed something here.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Matt wrote "there’s good payoff for the twist involving Morgan acquiring the Intersect (which does not come without its side effects)."

And I really hope they had a good reason for doing it. I like Morgan as a character but as the intersect I believe it would be too much Morgan for me, he is always so over the top...

  32. Not necessarily huge. Most of NBC's hour long shows get so low ratings that it's not too hard to beat them. That's one of the reasons Chuck has survived this long. It's always been the best of the worst. As for the Fridays at 8 pm competition, I'm not too worried about that. Kitchen Nightmares should be easy to beat on Fox, A Gifted Man isn't doing well on CBS, and then yes there's Nikita on the CW. But it's on the CW. Just be glad it's on at 8 pm and not at 9 pm. There would be a 4 way ratings war if it was at 9. Fox has Fringe at 9, CBS has CSI: NY at 9 and the CW has Supernatural at 9. Excluding CSI, Fringe and Supernatural would already be tough competition because they are very similar to Chuck: neither gets high ratings but both have loyal fan bases. Sound familiar? And then of course any CSI is tough competition. I'm thinking it'll take around each episode getting 2.5's and around 10 million viewers to make NBC change their minds. But it's not going to take a huge improvement for NBC to jump at it. The most interesting part is of course the Friday night thing. It's where shows go to die. It's going to be very interesting to see how much that impacts the ratings vs the reduction in competition.

  33. I know that NBC hasn't had great ratings and that is probably why Chuck has made it to season 5 as it has done. And yes, thank god that it isn't at 9 PM. I still think that the ratings have to be really good to get an extension on the episodes but I don't see NBC changing its mind about the final season ie giving Chuck a season 6.
