ReplyDeleteRoush is right that there is advertising later in the week by the CW for Supernatural. What he doesn't understand is there much on that we watch. lol The cast has been doing Comic and Conventions since around season 3. Roush commented that they have to sell themselves. He may be right as far Comic Con goes, but the fan turn out put them in the largest, most popular area this year. Sell themselves? They have at Comic Con. The Conventions are always sell outs months ahead. That's if you want to do anything. People travel from all over the world to attend them. My main wonder is why put Grimm against Supernatural and Fringe. The two shows have that time slot sewed up for the genre. Grimm will never stand a chance there. NBC has been failing regularly. Why put a new show against such popular shows? Stupid in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWhile Diane Neal might be great at NCIS as CGIS agent Borin, I think that a spin-off about Coast Guard investigations would be a stretch. These characters that we only see at a couple of episodes per season are special because we don't get to see them very often. If they showed up every week, we'd be bored.
ReplyDeleteNice to see somebody agree with me that any chance poor "Grimm" might have had is gone, hopefully along with the exec who thought it was a good idea to put it opposite "Supernatural" and "Fringe." It must suck to know from the get-go--as soon as you see when your show's scheduled to air--that you've got a failure on your hands.
ReplyDeleteYep. Us fans of low-rated genre shows are going to have other things to watch. That's a shame, because Grimm looks like it might be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI was going through the channels last night and went by CW and there was a promo for this weeks Supernatural.
ReplyDeleteI hate that Grimm is going to be against Supernatural and Fringe, NBC could have put it on at 10 eastern when CW & Fox have news. I am guessing this bad programing choices is why NBC is in last place. SPN has been back on track this season, more like the old show, just wish they would bring Misha back in some form, he has been one of my favorites since he showed up as Castiel, Jimmy, Hippie Cas, God and the vessel for the Levis. After all he DID win 2011 Character of the Year from SpoilerTV. Anyone catching him in the web series, Divine the Series?
ReplyDeleteIt seems that NBC believes that the only way to learn something is making mistakes. That's why they put Grimm against Supernatural and Fringe: to make mistakes.
