snarky exchanges, while fun, don't make me interested in House like the longer storylines used to. how about they try to deal with House driving into a house, hm? or House's inability to have healthy relationships? or how people close to him were affected by his self-destructive behavior? for a show that I once thought of as one of the smartest and most consistent in character development, this season so far was plain disappointing. we are to believe that NONE of the things that happened to House so far had ANY effect on him. or his peers. everything just goes back to normal. Wilson just punches him once and everything's back on track. the issue of Cuddy isn't even properly adressed. the issue of House's relationships with women (he did seem to have a healthy-ish relationship with Stacy before the accident) - never adressed. I bet they don't even remember they had Stacy on the show. if this is the last season of the show, I would like these things to be adressed. I would like it to end with some closure. if they just wrap it up with House having some sort of revelation in the last episode, it's just going to be cheap and not worthy of the show I've been watching for so many years.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Looks good so far. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love House. Great sense of humor with a rapier-like wit.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the new girls, but this still looks interesting!
