  2. I guess "When is Peter Bishop?" will inevitably drop our way some time soon. XD

  4. This week seems to be dragging and I think its because I'm looking forward to Fringe so much!

  5. Don't forget "How is Peter Bishop" in your list :-) I think it could be a good question about him at this point.

  6. that's strange, right???

  7. And ultimately the existentialesque - "Why is Peter Bishop?"....

  8. this video is great. it just makes me more and more excited to see this plot unveil! peter has some tough  "days" ahead of him... i'm happy about the reference to how peter felt at the beginning of the show. i really liked that peter, not too comfortable about the situation he found himself in but not able to leave either. edgy peter, i like it! makes for great character development.

  12. Equally the archaic, but thoroughly appropriate: "Whose is Peter Bishop?" - This is fun, lol... man, if they dedicated one season to answering each of these questions, Fringe could run for a long number of years...

  13. They don't knowing the Observers make absolutely no sense unless the Observers had stopped observe in this timeline until Peter's attempts to come back started. Still the question... why?

  15. I can't see how I could be more excited about a Fringe episode than this one.  The thing that first appealed to me about Fringe was how Peter and Walter's relationship developed and now we get that again with a different Walter.  At first I was hesitant to watch this promo because I don't want to be too spoiled, but now I'm glad I did.  I love hearing all the actors' take on what is happening and how things are changing.

  16. I am excited that they don't know about the Observers because I'm hoping I get more of a clue as to what they are up to as these characters learn about them.  The Observers are an even bigger mystery to me right now than what is going on with Peter.

  17. I think it still makes sense on some level.....

Olivia first noticed noticed the Observer when on cases with Peter and brought it to Broyles attention. That connection from her to Broyles and later to Walter was what dialed in Fringe division's Observer investigation.

Now if you remove Peter being saved by September and you remove Walter's friendship with September from the equation, even if the Observer's have been watching for centuries Fringe Division did not have the needed information to make the connections about the Observers. Maybe they just never had a reason to look closely.

  18. It's going to be tough to see Peter try to convince everyone who he is. Can't wait to see how this all unfolds. Bring on Friday.

  19. I feel the same way.

I completed understand how removing Peter from the timeline/s changes everything and why each character's personality and life is so different. However, I do not understand who, what, where when or why the Observers observe.

The more we learn about the Observers, the more we learn about the secrets of the Fringe mythology and the series itself.

    ReplyDelete
  20. actually, broyles knew of the observers before olivia.  when she brought them to his attention, he then showed her the pictures they had and told her of how they have spotted him.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Right he did, but even he said something like Olivia was there just a few weeks and already worked out more than they had worked out in years.

Broyles and his people knew someone was watching throughout time, but it was not until Olivia's information and Walter's connection to September that the finer details were worked out.

My point was not that they weren't aware before... more like if September had not been watching all the PPT(post-Peter theft) events for 2 decades they may not have had a reason to look back at the art in in the past.

My take on September is that he was much, much more active and conspicuous after he saved Peter than any other time in history since he had to course correct. If he did not need to course correct he may never have been noticed....

  22. Because your universal translator is broken?

  23. It seems that the longer Anna Torv works on Fringe, the more similar her natural voice and her Olivia voice become.

    ReplyDelete
  24. maybe she's pulling a Hugh Laurie and staying in character while she's on the set, but not necessarily filming?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Nah.  You can still hear the difference when she gives interviews but it's not nearly as pronounced as it was when the series started.

  26. I am very glad this is only 2 days away :-)

  27. Who is this Andy Page guy that posted the video? Ha, just kidding. Time for a little change, Dark?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree with  fringetorvfan. Broyles did know about the Observers one year before Olivia. On the other hand, Olivia's investigation plus Walter's knowledge help them figure out who was that guy.My provisory theory is that the Observers stepped away from the Fringe events since the timeline corrected itself by vanishing Peter (or they may think it did).In this case they would be direct connected with Peter. So... what would make the boy important in the first place?

    ReplyDelete
  29. i believe since now WhereIsPeterBishop? has been answered the question is WhoIsPeterBishop?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Wow I really love this Vid! THNX for sharing and Anna looks soooo cute!!!

  31. I can't wait to see Olivia finding out she loves Peter <3

  32. Right there with you. Also, now they've got this trusting relationship between Olivia and Walter which we got to see in the last episode(4). I really want to know how Peter reacts to that, if he'll be shocked, happy, jealous...?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Totally agree with you! I've always thought that Peter was connected with the Observers. In my opinion both Peter and the Observers are on the same level of mistery. I'm starting to think that their connection is the heart of the whole mithology.

  34. Is it Friday yet, but I have to work Friday night, so Is it Saturday yet

  35. This video makes me even more excited for this week's episode of Fringe, which I didn't think was possible...Peter's back! This makes me happier than I can even describe. Plus, leaving him with all the memories of the alternate timeline and having him deal with the weight of those while simultaneously trying to integrate into this new timeline is a stroke of genius on the part of the writers, and I can't wait to see how it plays out!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I so excited for this episode it crazy, I hoping we find out a little more about the observed this episode but I'm not sure we will, might find out until the week after, but I do think we will see there reaction to Peter coming back so that enough for me

    ReplyDelete
  37. I`m more like "what kind of awesomeness will it be this time?" :-D

And I`m also glad Peter`s back so the dynamic among our characters can be renewed slowly. Fringe without Peter was not quite what I imagined, I thought we would be teased about the new shapeshifters a little more and stuff like that. But so far I wasn`t a big fan of this season - I guess now we really know how important Peter is to the show because without him it`s not that good. But now...the real fun beggins and I can`t wait to see that :-D

BTW: Why don`t they do a DNA test? Peter has half of his DNA from Walter so that should be the prove of him telling the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's actually weird that Peter doesn't mention his relationship with Olivia.I mean he does say that he is Walter's son but doesn't say anything about his & Olivia's past 2gether?Weird...

    ReplyDelete
  39. This episode will be the greatest this season. Can't wait to see it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think he's treading lightly. I mean how would you react if some random dude walked out of another universe saying that in his universe you two were a couple and will have been married in the future. Yeah bad pick-up line right!? Bad, but certainly creative, or crazy depending on your reaction.

  41. Fringe keeps getting better and better. This video is simply great. I´m intrigued by the fact that they don´t know the observers. I´m sure friday´s episode will be great.

  42. Wow, I can't wait! This is such an interesting development. We get a whole new chance to build the relationships between the characters, and some of them are so different than what they would have been had we been in the original timeline.

Can't wait! Especially between Olivia and Peter, how will they work out. I agree with what Jasika said: she will completely freak out probably when she finds out they used to be a couple!

  43. The best part of that episode was the Olivia and Walter scene over the milkshakes.  I hope we don't lose their closeness with Peter re-emerging.  Of course, I want Peter and Walter's relationship to get back on track right away too although I doubt that will happen.  I agree it will be very interesting to see how he reacts to Walter and Olivia's relationship.

  44. Actually if someone walked to me and said "I'm from another universe" I would consider this totally awesome!!! Cause I do believe that somewhere in another planet we all exist...slightly different versions of ourselves of courses but we do exist.I remember when I was first watching Fringe I was like "OMG!Someone believes in me finally!"(I don't care what scientists say about de-ja -vus_for me it's just my altenative self communicating with me!!!)

  45. I enter a new universe several times a day. According to String theory, every time I make a decision, there is another version of me that didn't make that particular decision. So taken literally, I'm a person who travels to alternate universes regularly, and so are you, and everyone else too for that matter.

Not trying to sound creepy or anything, but according to string theory, there is a universe somewhere, wherein You and I could be a couple,(assuming you are a female, although there is probably a universe where I'm Gay too, so I digress) also there is a universe where this conversation isn't even happening. Accessing these other places though is the real cool thing, If only we all could do such things.

  46. Bad pickup line above Ha ha! I just re-read it and laughed at myself.

  47. I really like that they don't know who the Observers are

  48. I'm more like "what kind of awesome craziness will it be this time?" :D
