I like it that they are not just ignoring the surgery and I love that Castle is suspicious.
Poor Castle, he is really trying.
BTW, I just don't buy the idea that Beckett can't be in a meaningful relationship until she catches her mother's murderers... I get the whole unresolved feelings thing, but if it is based on her feeling of getting hurt like that again (park scene) then catching the guys won't change much, it's not like catching them will give her any certainty that she won't suffer in a relationship. And she has already realised that she looooves Castle, so I really don't see quite the level of drama that the writers are going for.
Well, it is good to know that I am not the only one who doesn't really buy this "too-emotionaly-scarred" bit. And yes, it is clearly to keep them apart for another season. As long as the show remains witty and at least a bit belieavable (not belieavable: Beckett's wardrobe, Beckett's hair, Beckett's stilettos, this lame excuse for not getting into a relationship) I'm still on board though :)
thought the same! i will not surprised if Castle has really a girlfriend this season is to testing kate's reaction and trap her about her false loss memory ^^
Hey people that run this site can you please get the other 2 clips of Castle I saw it over at tvovermind but I can't get the whole clip to load will really appreciate it thanks!...
Ohhh the look Castle gave Beckett! He knows her too well to not see her little tells, and he is definitely suspicious now. I'm really glad they aren't ignoring the surgery, she's still going to be feeling something months afterwards. I think needing to solve her mom's murder does make sense in a way. Beckett needs the closure because she knows she is using it as an out, or a way to shield herself if a relationship progresses too far. She can just throw herself back into it and be completely single-minded and obsessed whenever it comes back up, at the expense of her life. She will never let go of that as long as it remains unsolved, and Castle was right when he said she crawled inside it and never came out. I think she knew it too and it's part of why she got so upset with him. It has been the focus of most of her adult life, and she has to see that she will still the same woman she has always been, she will still be the cop she has always been, but she'll have achieved the height of justice for her mom and accept that it's okay to move on from there. Then they can get through all the rest of their baggage together. I do agree though that it is making for a solid reason to keep them apart right now....
(Really, Beckett's wardrobe bugs me too! She went from all kinda tomboyish to stiletto's, long curls and fashionable clothes. They probably just try to fancy up the show a little or something.)
When a woman's dead body shows signs of an old killer's handy work, Castle and Beckett discover that the Triple Killer, a murderer who vanished four years prior, may have returned. Meanwhile, Castle alternately encourages and discourages Alexis' involvement with a secret admirer.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I like that it seems that Castle is getting wise to Beckett's memory loss defense....
ReplyDeletewowowowowowow! Can't wait ! And i want to see Beckett talking to the psychiatrist!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh yea Beckett. He'll get you!
ReplyDeleteKate, you definetly need to lie better!!!
ReplyDeletewoooow, if castle hadn't been suspicious yet, he definitly is now =) That look he gave her...
ReplyDeleteyeah, that's excactly what I thought about too - and I don't really get it either.
ReplyDeleteBut I guess since the writers don't want them together yet, they just needed another reason to let them stay apart for a little while longer^^

I think Castle and Lanie should hang out a bit. She seems to be losing her sense of humor.
ReplyDeletelooking good team, cant wait *squee* x
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. It doesn't make sense to keep Beckett and Castle apart on that pretense too long. Otherwise Beckett just seems like a jerk.
ReplyDeleteCredits to Castle, he does know her really well.
ReplyDelete(Really, Beckett's wardrobe bugs me too! She went from all kinda tomboyish to stiletto's, long curls and fashionable clothes. They probably just try to fancy up the show a little or something.)
Yeah, I was expecting her to have a different reaction to his funny line. I had to chuckle when I heard it.
ReplyDeletethe body profile was kind of creepy...and yay Castle for starting to suspect something about her memory loss.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till he discovers she has been lying to him the whole time
ReplyDeletewowowowowowow! Can't wait ! And i want to see Beckett talking to the psychiatrist!!!!
ReplyDeletehaha did you see castle's face when she said she can't remember
