The BBC have announced that their Scottish based Jason Isaacs crime drama Case Histories is to return for a second series in 2012. Source: SimplyTelevision
I checked and there is only one more book. The second series is going to be two episodes of 2 hours each. That would be two books going by last year's profile of 2 hours to each book.... Maybe it will be all based on the one book? Maybe she has a new book on the way and it will be released before the TV series?
I actually have not read Kate Atkinson's books before. I just discovered the series since it had Jason Isaacs and I try to follow the new UK crime drama/ mystery series on BBC, ITV and Sky...

Excellent news! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI just read that Case Histories will be on PBS Masterpiece starting this Sunday the 16th of October. Great news for those that missed the BBC airings!
ReplyDeleteAwake and now this! Isaacs is gonna be a pretty busy guy
ReplyDeletethere is only one other book featuring Jackson Brodie isn't it? Will they write new stories for the show?
ReplyDeleteI'm really not sure, but that is a good question.
